ans: your receiving address
the auction was asicminer shares so presumably will be different depending on the auction.

Auction winners post "Paid and PM'd you my details."
What details do they send?
thanks

Sent and sent.
Anybody would be so nice to explain to me what are confimation satoshis ?
This is my 1st auction so I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it, it is a small token amount sent to you to confirm your wallet address for future receipt of payments (dividends).

That is the list of winners with connected addresses. I want bitcoins from you on that addresses and PM with address where you want to receive AM divs and satoshies. If you want to use John K as escrow, just send PM to him for instructions. well thanks for the offer, if it's within the rules, yes I'll take you up on it

yeah .. but your 1.88 trumped my 1.88!

Yes I agree with you, I didn't mean to imply a sudden spike, but a strong longer term trend.

There has been a lot of very bullish news lately, eg new exchanges, big VC money, etc in addition to talk of potentially massive market forces like China, the porn industry, Ebay/paypal, etc. possibly coming into play.
However equally if not more important and bullish there also seems to be a very positive media trend of taking bitcoin more seriously. Maybe it's selective reading on my part, but there seems to be far less of the '... anonymous hackers ... magic the kingdom trading virtual currency .. drug dealers on the silk road .. money laundering .. terrorism ... anti-social anarchists...' etc etc
I would not want to be on the short side of the trade once this consolidation works through, and if the $150 area can be breached over the next week or so, watch out above.

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment, but would rather not use BTC for mainstream usage, it's too nerdy. No one has a BTC key and they aren't going to learn alt codes.
I would love to see Clark Moody or others switch to mBTC as default. Or is that already available somewhere?
in edit - I've posted to Clarks page.

Wow!! I cant believe this thread... In the last month, I've 'lost' money I've wired into bitcoin24 trying to buy bitcoins, I've got a wire into MtGox that hasn't been acknowledge in over 2 days yet, but... Just yesterday I logged into my Western Union account online and sent US dollars; from a non-US country, to another, different non-US country and the money was available in minutes to a person who could go almost anywhere and pick it up.
WU has nothing to worry about...especially after asicminer destroys the whole economy anyway.
You have something to worry about - lack of long term perspective.

They have been around for 160 years so they're doing something right, and clearly they adopt new tech, so they get my respect,
I don't have that much respect for a corporation that bilks immigrants for fees as high as 30% to transfer money to their families. I'd say they're a perfect target for a bitcoin entrepreneur. If you think about it, WU is part of the global "race to the bottom" parasitic chain... it's hard to believe a US financial institution would act unethically

Given bitcoins potential to reduce costs and who knows what other benefits, govt should be looking closely at adopting it into their 'business' model. Rather than try to stamp it out (resistance is futile), they will look at how to benefit from it.

They have been around for 160 years so they're doing something right, and clearly they adopt new tech, so they get my respect, and I'll bet my bottom dollar they won't let bitcoin slip through their fingers, cos they'll want to be around for another 160 yrs. Prolly got their legal dept, IT & product managers etc already working on it. edit: they are certainly no slouches when it comes to tech and innovation eg "In the 1970s WUI installed and leased to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) ..... a proof of concept for the technology of packet switching which later became the Internet." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Union

I think we're looking at this wrong.
Paypal doesn't just give Bitcoin cred.
Bitcoin gives Paypal cred as a still on the ball, ahead of the curve, tech savvy, (insert your fav cliche), forward looking financial outfit.
