^^ this is why i specifically proposed electrum. I know for a fact that it's possible to have two electrum wallets open at the same time... I do it all the time. Just leave my wallet open at the office, and still open this wallet (generated from the same seed) at home for a quick peek in case i expect some payment.
With the labelsync it's even easy to synchronise your labels between home and office (or in OP's case, between him and his partner).

Offcourse, there is a minimal chance both the OP and his partner generate a transaction with the same inputs at the same time. In this case, i suppose one of the transactions is included in a block, the other one is cancelled. Eventough the chance is really small, i suppose the OP and his partner would have to double check their transactions after 30 minutes to see if they went trough...

it is available, for example on blockchain.info, but online wallets are not secure.... I would never advise anybody to open an online wallet!

The easyest way would be to use electrum:
Generate a new wallet yourself, send your partner the complete seed and let him recreate your wallet from seed on his pc.
Next, install plugin "labelsync" and force import/export the labels you created

The wallet can even be opened two places at once...

It's been said dozens of times before: use virwox.com to exchange PP to BTC if you don't have a lot of green trust on this forum... High fees and long waiting times, but at least you'll have some BTC in your account by the end of the week

importing the private key does indeed give me the correct public address, and using a testnet block explorer, i can see that this public address has indeed funds... So chances are indeed large that i'm missing some peers or that i'm not correctly synced.

EDIT:
- i installed bitcoind on one of my servers and ran bitcoind -testnet
- i used https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bitcoinpaperwallet/generate-wallet.html?design=alt-testnet# (validate or decrypt) to decrypt my bip38 encrypted private key
- then bitcoin-cli -testnet importprivkey mydecryptedkey
- then i waited a couple of hours for the synchronisation to happen
- my coins showed up 

However, i did not manage to sweep the paper wallet with shildenbach's android wallet, mycelium testnet wallet, greenbit testnet wallet,... I've tried almost all testnet wallets in the android store, none of them wanted to sweep my paper wallet 

Hope my real paper wallet will work fine... I'm thinking about creating a paper wallet and transferring 0.005BTC to it, then sweep it, then burn it... Afterwards i'll download the sourcecode of https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bitcoinpaperwallet/generate-wallet.html, turn off my internet, generate a wallet offline, print to a pdf on an usbstick, print from the usb stick, scratch the usbstick, reboot my pc and put a chunk of my funds on the paper wallet

To be honest, i've seen dozens of guys (and girls) asking questions in this very subforum. at least 80% of the time, they either get a friendly post back with the help they asked, or they get pointed to a link (usually an internal link to a different topic) where their question was already answered.

In the (maximum) 20% of the cases that did go without a proper answer, it's usually because
- they were rude
- their post was so unsubstantial, nobody could undertstand their question
- it was a clear scam attempt
- it was a clear spam attempt
- their question was so difficult it didn't belong in beginners/help

It is very seldom that i see a polite question that wasn't answered before, formulated in an understandable way that went unanswered (it does happen from time to time, but in my experience, it's seldom)

Just a quick question: i'm thinking about creating a couple paper wallets to store some of my funds onto.

I went to a couple of testnet faucets, and loaded the address with some funds:

The address should currently hold 15.06 tBTC

Afterwards, i downloaded greenbits and  shildenbach's client for the test network on my android mobile, and tried to sweep the wallet.
The process itself works (i mean, the android wallet does ask for a passphrase), but after that: it says the address holds 0 tBTC.

I've tried using the website above https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bitcoinpaperwallet/generate-wallet.html?design=alt-testnet# to decrypt the bip38 encoded private key, and it seems to generate a valid private key, and the correct public key (the one that does hold +15tBTC), so i'm a bit lost at this point. I tried to sweep the unencrypted private key, but the aindroid wallet still says the address holds no funds  

I ran the bitcoin-qt with the -testnet option, but i got a bit frustrated when i saw how many blocks the testnet chain had, and since my HD is almost full i had to stop the synchronisation...

Is there someone who knows what's happening, or somebody that has bitcoin-qt testnet sync'd, and is willing to import my private key to see of the coins are at least at the correct place?

I don't get this either... What is everybody's fascination with web wallets. I can understand if people want to keep $20-$50 in BTC on an android wallet in case they have the chance to buy a hamburger with bitcoins or something. But other than that, all your coins should be securely stored (IMHO)

OP: the two safest options are paper wallets and hardware wallets (and maybe offline wallets), followed by desktop wallets (like core, multibit HD, electrum).
Web wallets are not safe, no mather which one you chose!

I'm pretty sure you'll need to deposit BTC to spectrocoin.com before you start spending. They cannot charge coins from our balance if the private key for said account wasn't helt by spectrocoin.com to begin with.

I really hope this becomes a trend for the other burger kinds in the Netherlands... To bad the nearest burger king for me would be Maastricht, but even then i would have to drive for over 40 minutes to get there.

In order for you to make money, there are only a couple options:
- break your promise, and do put up adds, while lowering the payout
- make it so hard to claim that the majority of your users pay a $5 monthly fee, but only claim $1...
- take as much money as you can and run without paying out your users

Sorry if i sounded harsh... This was certainly not intended. I just wanted to point out why my bid is so much lower than the bid you expected. You're just unlucky that the S7 came out recently, so nobody is going to pay $1500 for (700 + 3 * 441) = 2Th when they can buy an S7 with more than double the hashrate for half the price (and half the power consumption).

20 Gb won't be enough to run a full node, i used to run a full node a couple months ago, and it used about 60 Gb at that time.

Agreed, i actually forgot to add this to my bid, but i think it's a no-brainer.
I wouldn't send a satoshi to somebody without massive green trust unless it's trough a trusted forum escrow, and i expect others not to trust me without using an escrow either.

When i buy a new antimer S7, i pay less than $1 per 6 Ghs of hashing power. My power usage is only about 0.3J/Ghs and i get 3 months of factory warrantee.

To be honest, i wouldn't know how to setup a Monarch. I know you either put them in a computer/server (so you'll need a fullblown PC or server running 24/7) or you need to make a special setup with liquid cooling and stuff... TBH, i'm not confortable learning that stuff.
So, unless you include a full manual, i cannot even bid on the monarch.
