Are you doing all the developing on your own?  Or do you have a team?

Just curious.

Hey guys, just wondering if micon still has some connection with SWC in some way.  He did well in running it from the ground up and putting it on the poker map.  But things went sour when the police went to his place and basically harrassed him for running a Bitcoin poker site.

I hope he comes back.

He hasn't had anything to do with seals since he returned to the country and accepted a plea deal a little over two years ago.  Doubt he will ever come back.

There have been rumors that he never sold his ownership stake and has been laying low while the legal situation sorted itself out.  I wouldn't be shocked to see him as the public face of SWC at some point in 2018.

I believe his probation ended over the summer so you could be right.  I heard he was planning on going back to Antigua at some point and had something lined up there.  They got pretty fucked by Hurricane though.

I'd be very surprised if he returned to swc without leaving country.

At which point everyone would know how much volume they're doing? And if Coinbase or anyone else who's tracking gambling transactions to deny people business got one address they'd suddenly have a bunch of others? That seems like it's not a very good idea.

You can figure this out whether they do one big transaction or tons a small ones.

Are we sure they are really sending each transaction individually when they have more than one waiting?  Seems silly.
4805  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: October 03, 2017, 11:54:16 PM
This is a sad day.

Super disappointed to see Seals running a sig campaign.

Going to be much easier to ignore legit issues now with all the inevitable shilly banter.

What would Micon say...smh

Incredible article just posted on Betcoin about Black Jack, it's history and betting strategies.

Martin Gale Bitcoin Blackjack Strategy
One of the most popular winning bitcoin blackjack strategies was developed by a mathematician Martin Gale.

(Strategy is actually called martingale and has nothing to do with anyone named Martin or Gale...)

I doubt they could have any more contempt for their customers.

Yeah, they banned me (for 14th time) after pointing out Martin Gale didn't exist in the comments.

Didn't bother fixing the article though...

4808  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: September 28, 2017, 08:32:57 PM
as an official nasty fan I would like to request full accounts, P&L and balance sheet for the security for Financial years 2013/2014 and management\preliminary accounts for this financial year.

it is of great concern to me that one of my minted seats (purchased below store value)  has severely decreased in market price.

I feel that the owner and manager of this asset has either been falsifying accounts or mismanaged funds as 10BTC of savings is appalling for this asset and I request proof that Og has not been mismanaging finances and or profiting from activities to the detriment of the club

Dude.  This is getting absolutely out of control.  It's been a year long witch hunt on ognasty.   If you are so severely concerned I will be more than happy to buy your seat at whatever USD value you paid for it.   It's obvious as day to anyone at this point with the "should og be removed as treasurer", and "should og be removed as dt1" threads that they are just personal attacks.

I don't for the life of me understand how this could even be such a priority of yours.

I have literally no history with TMAN and can say that OGNasty has never "stolen" funds from me.

However, he (OGN) is far from an honest person and deserves a hell of a lot more scrutiny than he's gotten over the years.

I don't have proof that he's a theif, but I have mountains of proof that he's a liar.

I would absolutely LOVE to debate OgNasty over skype, phone, twitch, whatever - and have the entire thing made public about the 100% false accusations he's made of me, the shady businesses he's supported and the way he handles himself in general.  For the past year+ he has refused to respond to me, putting all his effort into convincing others I am a corrupt degen gambling addict, with absolutely 0 proof - knowing full well that most users would just assume he was telling the truth, since they have trusted him with their funds, and not been straight up robbed.

These days it seems like he's able to get away with fucking others simply because "he hasn't stolen anyones money, even though he could of tons of time".

Well, in the finance world, stealing money isn't so black and white.

Unfortunately, in the crypto world, it's far to often that "not being a thief" translates into "being trustworthy" only because "not being a thief" is so rare.
OgNasty deserves to be called out for the scumbag he is, even if he hasn't stolen shitloads of BTC that he could of. (which is basically his only angle)

4809  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: September 27, 2017, 06:19:49 PM
Ok, so I noticed kerrywoodwins20 (the person Wendigo is accusing to be me) has less than 100 posts, so easier to get through.

I know this post doesn't completely exonerate me, but I think if you take all things into consideration, it's pretty obvious that I am not the one trying to take advantage of anyone - I'm just trying to figure out the truth.
4810  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: September 27, 2017, 06:11:09 PM
Nobody gives a shit about you two and your internet drama. You both sound like faggots.

Yeah, umm I promise this isn't me.

Kerrywoodwins has a very polarized range here.
4811  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: September 27, 2017, 05:41:17 PM
It closed down in the USA and didn't even bother telling its customers.

Then they act like you're a criminal when you try to figure out what's going on.

Weird operation, I'd be super careful here with the way they're behaving.

Didn't you leave playing on the site like months ago? Oh wait  Grin Grin Grin

-2 trust rating for you? hmm

Stop hiding behind these throwaways TwitchySeal. I know it's you  Wink

It's not me.

Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye(!)

Really it's not though, I have never been a big sports bettor and have literally spent 95% of my waking hours learning how to program over the past ~6 months.

Also, I think if you do some more digging you'll find I have criticized kerrywoodwins behavior at some point 6-10 months ago?  I can't remember the exact details, and I might be wrong I guess.

Most damning piece of evidence you have will probably be me responding to your accusation so quickly.  All I can say is it happens to be a coincidence that I checked this thread, and saw your feedback so shortly after you decided to make it.

Anyway, instead of just claiming you 'know' something about me, or anyone really, [edit: "I hope"] you will consider putting a little more effort into figuring out the truth.

Edit: For the record I have literally ZERO throw away accounts.  I have two accounts total.  My other account is only used when I have a question or join a discussion where my personal information could be figured out.  I'm sure you would agree that TwitchySeal has made many enemies.

It's super frustrating to be labeled as "alts" of players who have claimed to be wronged by crypto casinos.  The majority of complaints against crypto-casinos are not legitimate - all this does is give these casinos ammunition to use if they were to behave dishonestly.

Hope this all makes sense,  would be happy to have a respectful conversation any time.

Also, really curious, what made you come to the conclusion that I am kerrywoodwins20?

Feel free to PM, only responding in public thread because I <3 transparency.
4812  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: September 26, 2017, 08:37:00 PM
(snipping just to make this more readable, not trying to take anything out of context)
-snip-
-snip-

While I understand why most recreational players, or players who never made it to SN or SNE, wouldn't agree with my above statement, I assure you that it was 100% completely accurate circa 2011 and pre-Black Friday, albeit a moot point since Amaya doesn't even offer the SN or SNE program anymore.

I just have a different definition of "better VIP program" I guess.

SNE was worth 100k+.  That's one way to look at it.  But really it was just ~65% rakeback, right?  There were and still are sites that offer more than that.

The difference is Stars was a better, bigger, more trusted site that was much easier/possible to put in high volume.

(I made SNE once, the second year it was possible, have earned almost 100k krill on seals before Micon left, and have played over 10m hands online since 2005)

My overarching point was that comparing shitty Bitcoin poker sites, that seem to be apparently run by a handful of guys at the best of times, to a multi billion (with a b) dollar generating, well-established site is is unrealistic and unfair. (Stars got the majority of their market share when PartyPoker went public and willingly left the US.) That being said, it doesn't mean that SwC couldn't be run much better. Hell, it wouldn't even take them that much time, energy, or resources to make some very simple improvements to their site, and I agree they should perhaps start with transparency.

-snip-

I couldn't agree with you more.

If a site like seals or Betcoin decided to hold themselves to the same standards and level of transparency as regulated US sites (where I play mostly now), they would have way more success, benefiting from the upside of regulations without having to give up the freedom and profit that is currently being sucked from their regulated counterparts by the government.

SwC Poker Lowers Rake

The rake has been lowered to reflect our mission of offering low rake Bitcoin poker games. The new schedule can be viewed here:
https://swcpoker.eu/swcpoker-faq/#rake

We received feedback from long time players wishing to start more mixed games. To show them we are serious about catering to our players and staying competitive in the market, we have lowered the rake.

Hey, SwC_Poker,

Do everyone a favor, address the issues brought up recently by marlias.

Quit going down this dark path.
4813  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: September 25, 2017, 03:02:47 AM
Alright guys, had a couple drinks - but feel the need for a serious rant.  Take it for what it's worth.

Pre-Amaya Stars (pre-black friday) didn't have the best VIP program - or even close to it really.
It was a decent vip program.  When they launched the super-nova elite thing it was inspiring.  I can't remember the exact details but ... bust your ass for an entire year - like, put in 1.5 mill + hands of $50+NL or play some seemingly ridiculous amount of HUSNGs... and get a  $30-50k USD bonus. In the end,  this equals a solid year of 55+ hours per week of grinding hard.

So anyway...my point is that Stars did not -  and never has had an amazing VIP program.  There were plenty of great deals that have come and gone since they were on top.

They (stars) had one thing.

Seals used to have the same thing. (thanks to micon...i think?)

It was the most important thing.

They were FUCKING HONEST.

When a player had a complaint, they responded because - well - they had nothing to hide. Get your shit together SWC, the fact that you haven't responded to marlais' comments is fucking pathetic.

Shame on you!

TL;DR(s):

-Pre-Amaya Stars VIP program is irrelevant - they had integrity.  Integrity > All Else.

-Seals doesn't currently seem to have much of ^^integrity.

-The 'new' seals admin are fucking pathetic.  Seriously.  You guys are fucking things up big time.  Knock it off please.

-Betcoin.ag is so incredibly scummy and awful - they don't deserve to even be mentioned in this argument.

Looks like Betcoins Forum Ban has ended, and their Sportsbook seems to be down for a few days now.

Also this was posted in their Sig Spammers Thread

We were able to gain access to Betcoin.ag's servers on 9/21/17, and what we were able to dump was beyond our expectations.

We were testing their security, and were able to obtain a list of every username and plaintext password for every account on their site.  Further, we were able to bypass their "whitelisted IP" info, and able to log into the accounts.

Some of these accounts hold large sums of bitcoin.  We play on this site, and find it insane that our passwords are all in plaintext on their server side.  A bitcoin gambling site should know better.

We have contacted betcoin with no response.  If they do not reply to us by 9/23/17, we will be posting this in other forums, and making all their players aware that they have been breached.  Further, we will be placing the entire dumped list up for sale.

Betcoin, you have our email.  I would highly recommend replying.

Could be totally false, but I wouldn't be surprised if something like this were possible considering their history with security.

Please tell me exact name and contact to Your regulator. Thank You.

Hi ktetris

You can find all the information you need here: https://bitcasino.io/about/gaming-license

Best regards,
Bitcasino.io

Hi,

What are the regulations that a site with your license have to follow?  What rules are set in place that you must follow?

I'm not attacking you here, just trying to figure out what sort of protection a player has when playing on a site with a license like yours.
4817  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚩 Bitcasino.io – the FUN, FAST and FAIR gaming experience! 🚩 on: September 19, 2017, 01:09:10 PM
we find it appropriate to underline you are within your rights to go to our regulator if you feel the case hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction.

What are the regulations you follow?
4818  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚩 Bitcasino.io – the FUN, FAST and FAIR gaming experience! 🚩 on: September 18, 2017, 05:51:26 PM
players are obviously well within their rights to go to our regulator if they prefer.

Cheers,
Bitcasino.io

Is there any record of a player going to your regulator (curacao) and getting any sort of decision...or even response?  (not just for your site, for any site they license)

Is there any public record of the actual regulations you have agreed to follow?  Are there any that are put in place to protect players?

From what I can tell, Curacao basically requires a fee to be paid in exchange for a "license" - which allows you to open a bank account.  I've never heard of them even once step in to protect a player.  I have seen casinos use the excuse "we have to keep your money/see your ID because of our regulators..." plenty of times though. (Obv I don't buy it)

Hi, we made the calculation and the final proposal looks like we will select 30 people in which will be Legendary and Hero Members who are already participating in our campaign. We thank all for the messages we receive, we are analyzing the list of people who will be participating with us in the fixed campaign. The final price proposal is 0.045 BTC per month for Hero Members if wears our avatar, 0.04 BTC without avatar. 0.05 BTC per month for Legendary members with our avatar, 0.045 BTC without avatar. There is no minimum post limit, however, please note that we will select those people who we consider the best by our rating and write a similar number of posts in each month. We depend on the most loyal group. The selection will be made on Tuesday October 19 and this Tuesday we will send a message to 30 people who have expressed their desire to participate in further campaigns. We will also post here on the end of the recruitment process. The current stage is the same as the previous one, and from the next we start the fixed campaign. Thank you very much.

Just to clarify: Tuesday ---> October 19th? Or, did you mean, Tuesday --->September 19th?  It's a bit confusing because the 19th falls on Tuesday in September but it falls on Thursday in October. I hope I'm chosen for the team ---> Betcoin is the only reason I got involved with crypto currencies---> way back in the day before "blockchains" were "the thing."  Poker and crypto is all I do now.

They meant Sept 19th
4820  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: September 14, 2017, 08:51:11 PM
So thanks to the extensive research of vadoff, you can see potentially manipulated results from (7mbtc.com) in purple:
https://jsfiddle.net/vadoff/r4kp44Lv/1/embedded/result/

I can't come up with a good explanation for how this would be happening, and it means their house edge isn't matching what they are advertising. I will update the bustabit.com/license.txt file to reference this post

So they are only manipulating winning bets by paying out less than they should?

If I were a cheater that owned a site like this, that's what I would do.  Players are much less likely to scrutinize a winning bet.

Does 7mbit.com have any presence on this forum?

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it looks like they are saying that some games are crashing at very low numbers (which would make most if not all players lose when some of them would have won) when they should be crashing at higher numbers.  For example:
