4801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to education in most African countries. on: July 02, 2022, 08:13:20 AM
I'm sure that there's no relation between this thread and to Speculation of Altcoins. This could go better in Politics & Society or to the local board that you have.

Which really make me ask, what does the future of education in most African countries holds?.And another problem is, skills empowerment are limited
I'm not familiar with the actual educational system in most African countries. But if the resources are limited, there's really a need to thrive individually and an urge to push everyone to their respective desires for higher education.

With so many providers for advertising like AdSense you mention, this can provide revenue for the casino or website that advertises to be directed to that casino. If it can get clicks from visitors and visitors play in the casino, that means the casino can earn revenue. But indeed children in this era are smarter than their parents so they can use the internet well, even without parental guidance. This is a dilemma for parents.
That's the purpose of Adsense and the same goes for any other advertising technique. But the problem is that it won't filter and it won't know how old the visitors are.
It is the reason why it is very possible for a teen to land and pay a visit to a casino because of these Adsense and its algorithm depending on the conversation they have and browsing history.
4805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Could Reach $5 By 2050 !!!??? on: July 01, 2022, 11:18:46 PM
I dont know if most of us here are still alive at 2050 lol, too many things might happened in this year already
And we don't know if most of the altcoins are still there by that time. Maybe, still there but has zero value and has been forgotten by the community already.

but if shib still exist at this year then for sure $5 is not impossible so better hodl some shib and pass it to our grandchildren who knows.
The inflation by that time could be already high and the cost of living too. Well, to me, as we don't know, maybe yes or maybe no by that time but more of the percentage IMO that it won't be a no based on its supply.
4806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 01, 2022, 10:48:39 PM
I think that in the near future there will still be a fall, and then the market will gradually resume.
No one knows. But if that's gonna be the situation, I agree that eventually there's a gradual motion after this correction. We're all aware of that and that's going to make us hold some more. As the dump continues to happen, it's on your approach how you'll look at this current rate.
If it's positive to you and you're keeping more to your bags then it should not be a big worry.
4807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 06:57:41 PM
If Durant, LeBron, and Irving were on the same team, it would be the most dominant trio of the last decade. Although I doubt the Lakers will be able to pull off such a crazy deal.
It's possible that they can pull this off but I'm no longer that enthusiast with such super teams. We've seen that for the past season and it's actually optimistic but the result will really vary.

It seems more realistic to me that Durant might be traded for Booker and other Suns players. In any case, we will definitely see some big deals this offseason, given that many interesting rumors are popping up right now.
Yeah, I thought of this has happened already or the trade has already been made?

Totoo yan.
Well, still, good luck nalang sa kanila at sa mga remaining loyal users nila.

I just received an email from Coins.ph regarding an enhanced verification stuff.
To better understand how we use our accounts daw.
According to the email, non compliance until July 13 will lead to account limitations. Wadahek coins!
Halos lahat tayo ganyan na-receive.

4810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to build a DEX without having a token? on: June 30, 2022, 11:45:37 PM
Yes, very possible. I think there's a term that I've read about that before but I can't remember. It's integrated for most chains that the market has.
It can be done if there are developers that are willing to do it or a project that focuses on this. Right now, they're focused on their specific chains but hopefully, soon we see something like this. It's very convenient and easy if we see a dex like this.
4811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 30, 2022, 10:45:08 PM
It's actually career and business and that's why who offers the best, that's where the best players will go. While the other teams, become farm teams.
I think there should be a revamp on the way on how they balance the teams and it should be the commissioners should step on it and make a way to also help those weak teams.
Players always dream to play with a decent team at first they will agree to play to any team inside the league but once opportunity comes and big franchise offers them a contract, they will not hesitate to take it and change their uniforms, it's more on the money side and if the league continue to play this way, there's nothing change to expect but to continue to see the dominance of these two big team owners,.

Remember, Shell, Sta.Lucia,Tanduay, Air21, Powerade and lately Alaska all are good and competitive teams before

but they choose to leave the league for whatever reason they may have but those are the days.. Roll Eyes Cool
It's because they see the politics and there's no balance anymore. The problem is with the commissioners that still believe that they're on the right path in doing things and business. The good thing here is that PBA is already established but once another league emerges and most fans are already there and players transferring there, they know that it's like a sinking boat already.

Like what kind of revamp? Top teams like SMC and MVP are complying with the trade rules.

The Commissioner has the right to approve a trade but if the negotiation between teams and players both agreed, they can't just void the trade since what if the player really likes to accept the offer. Maybe the revamp should be to make everything balanced, involve a trade between players that really makes sense to trade, and not they will say it's fair.

For example, the time SMB got CJ Perez. I think at that time, SMB traded away some of their players that were not even used much and the PBA still called it a fair trade. That's where the influence of these top teams happened.
Yes, the revamp to balance each team. But the problem is all about the money that sometimes dominant teams have while the weak teams aren't willing to invest more for their better rosters.
4812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 30, 2022, 03:35:19 PM
Who's to blame that PBA is not balanced? Is it because of the dominance of SMC teams? MVP teams? I do not agree with that.

The problem is, that other teams are not even doing their best to become better teams. It's because of the inability to provide competitive salaries. CJ Perez, Terence Romeo, Matt-Ganuellas Rosser, Christian Standhardinger any other players that come from the bottom team, find good salaries at SMC or MVP teams. We can't blame these companies if they afford to offer a good contract to these players.

Players are for career enhancement. "PUSO" and loyalty are not applicable to most players as the goal is to make money out of their profession as that also serves as their source of income. Not all the time they can play basketball so as much as possible if there's an offer coming from big companies, they will consider accepting it right away.
It's actually career and business and that's why who offers the best, that's where the best players will go. While the other teams, become farm teams.
I think there should be a revamp on the way on how they balance the teams and it should be the commissioners should step on it and make a way to also help those weak teams.
4813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity’s $615 million crypto hack on: June 30, 2022, 01:57:03 PM
The unique users that were coming to axie became less and less. The potential revenue actually decreased a lot along with the price of axie token itself. Let's see how the remaining funds can be reimbursed in 2 years.
 Cheesy
Sad but that's the truth. It's no longer profitable and the value of its tokens has gone down, too much.

Just to make sure if another hack will not happen again or ronin will be dead.
I don't wish that to happen again and I guess they've learned the lesson the hard way and they've more focused into security and won't allow another breach to happen, at least.
It's a huge money to cover and good thing that Binance at least saved them from that catastrophe but still, the whole value of their tokens are all low due to the market's condition and as well as the losing confidence of many of their users and investors.
4814  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Incoming BSP Governor's take on cryptocurrencies on: June 30, 2022, 12:12:22 PM
Yes, this is still ok at least magagamit natin si Bitcoin without worrying for the government restriction. We still have the freedom to choose here and that’s the best situation for us.

4816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: June 29, 2022, 11:53:02 PM
It's a good think if everyone will invest with the mindset of what they afford to lose.
But not every investor will have that thinking, yeah, it's good if everyone will have that mindset but we can't force and apply it to everyone. Eventually, will learn from their mistakes and experiences that they'll invest what they can afford to lose and still be optimistic with the experience that they've got.

This means you can buy at any price without being scared if it will dip more or not.
Yup, that will be for the ideal investors that have a long term vision to the market and actually knows what they do and won't be distracted from FUDs and other negative sources.

Indeed, today's children understand better how to use multiple devices such as smartphones, tabs, or laptops and computers. But without parental supervision, they can still fall into the negative side of the internet and over time, they can become addicted. This happens when parents cannot provide supervision to their children and are more concerned with themselves. Indeed, parents do not provide supervision all the time. Still, parents can provide understanding to their children about the dangers of accessing the internet if they do not have self-control.
It is important to guide them and with the AdSense, that's scattered everywhere. They might click those ads and will be directed to the casinos and out of their curiosity, they'll sign up.
Going with the scenario, if the casino asks them for validation and confirmation, those that have said that they might do some tricks for their parents to land that verification, it's very likely to happen.
4818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 29, 2022, 11:04:24 PM
If I'm not mistaken, before the previous growth, there was also a fall.
Yes, that was last year. When we've hit a certain high for bitcoin then it has dropped to $29k but this time it's lower. So what can we expect? We're expecting that a better price will be retrieved soon and we just need to wait for it to come.

But despite this, even then everyone was shouting that bitcoin was a scam, and the price would not rise.
It's not new. That will never be gone and people will always tell that and they are those who are against bitcoin and never hold bitcoin or sold early but now they regret.
4819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: June 29, 2022, 10:34:24 PM
It will go along with the crypto market right now: down. Unless there is a bull signal for the whole market
Right, it will only happen when we get back to the bull run.

I don't see it could hit back even the $600 price this year.
Maybe not for this year but there's still a lot of room for it to reach that price. Well, I'm one of the holders of it but just a few of it, and before selling it, I want to have a high price first like going back to its former ATH or even past that.

Thanks @blockman for sharing, that seemed to be exciting to watch.

May I know when that league will start? Since the NBA season is still on going, so we cannot expect that anytime soon, that's why I like to know the scheduel of that game, and one most important thing, can we watch it through online streaming?
You're welcome.
Our very own PBA will have to show them sometime that we're still the great league in the ASIA. Also, another thing that I've just known is that it is Ron Artest who's the EASL ambassador. He has also said that his son has a Filipino blood and would hopefully play for the Philippines if time allows it.
