My favourite team in NBA are currently Brooklyn Nets. It depends on what team Durant goes to actually.  Grin  However Nets haven't been doing very well for a long time. They have made signings like Seth Curry and Ben Simmons to change the starting five a little. Because they weren't playing that much well before. Seth Curry adapted to the team and started performing nicely. I hope to see his contribution getting bigger next season. However I have big doubts about Ben Simmons. He has had a lasting injury and I don't know how strong he will be able to perform by next season.
I was hoping this time there would be no more drama from Ben Simmons. That's what I want to see and help out Durant posting more wins for the Brooklyn Nets. This will prove if the Nets management really made a good decision in that recent trade for James Harden. The unanswered question was if the Nets knew about that back issue of Ben that had been coming back over and over. I hope they did.
Seth Curry is the big bonus from that trade though, that brother could make it rain 3's sometimes but his strength really comes from his defense. I wish they could maximize that.

The drama will always attached to Ben Simmons, no matter where he goes, I mean the way he severed his ties with the Sixers that drag them for the whole season. So I guess it's more on the mentality of Ben now, no one can help him except himself. Durant could be a good mentor, but what if Ben is missing those free throws and becomes a liability then? So it will haunt him until he improved his free throws or even take a good shot outside so that he can silence his critics.

He is already out in the team that he doesn't like to play anymore, so there's no reason for him to still not give his best. I expect him to be a superstar with the Nets and will help Durant to be in the NBA Finals. I hope the rumors are not true that Durant is looking to play in another team, Nets are still a good team IMO as long as Durant will have a support from the other superstar and that is Simmons.
Still, I'm seeing Ben Simmons as a liability to the team for now because of his unpredictability and how big his head grows. If he doesn't respect his own team way back in the Sixers then how can we expect that he will respect the Brooklyn Nets. He will still be a mystery to the team, well, he got talent. A talent that needs to be sharpen but the way he behaves, he can't earn that respect to his co-players.

~snip~
Jordan poole and Andrew Wiggins is a good tandem for the warriors even though they don't have curry and Thompson in the floor but still they have a good defender and also scorer which is Wiggins can scored will and poole will help him. Of this lineup are still next season for sure a big chance of winning are there. If they want to stay in the warriors as long as they give their best on every match for sure that they can stay on the team when ever they want to stay.
It's not them to decide if they want to stay with the Warriors.

But it's the Warriors management to decide and it has been decided that they'll stay because it's said that they'll get a priority of staying and the management will spent a lot for them to stay.

That's why most of us are excited to see how they'll do with the next season because we'll still see Wiggins and Poole with Steph, Klay and Dray.

Ofcourse, the team will maintain their main line-up and certainly it would be a bad idea to trade the both of them to any other team because they know that Wiggins and Poole can be a risk to their team, they already figured out what to do in the next few years and I don't think that Steve Kerr will just let them go. It was reported that Poole will have his contract extension for over $100 Million while Wiggins will indeed stay for the Warriors as the team clarified about that also.

I agree, we can't consider him legitimate 'stars', if he can't produce numbers with the Nets. So far we can label him as a liability because we haven't seen him perform as Nets. I remember years ago when he was compared to Lebron, you can see the similarity, the style of play, assists, the fire. But when he was exposed in Sixers, nah, he has some problems so we can't say that he is a superstar, maybe just a good player that didn't get the elite status.

Kyrie has opted into his contract with the Nets. He’s secured his bag, now he needs to find a team to trade for him. By opting in, he ends the Lakers speculation that LeBron will get him to sign for the minimum and then get him his Nike deal back.
Good for him. It's the most practical decision to make given all the circumstances. He could still try with KD for another season and split up if they fail. I'm pretty sure Kyrie will still have a good value by then unless he gets seriously injured.

Quote
This is sparking talk that Kevin Durant might join the Suns… That would be interesting. I don’t think it’ll happen, but there’s talks happening…
CP3 and KD in one team is an intriguing proposition to be honest. I would love too see that but it's a tough trade to pull off. Suns will have to give up a lot for this to happen.

Kyrie Irving will always be a valuable asset to any given team that's why there's still teams out there who would want to acquire him but upon acquiring him, they also have to deal with Irving's selfishness and he's thinking that he's that really entitled because of what he can bring to the team.

CP3 and KD in the same jersey is really an interesting to thing to see and lot's of fans are surely want to see it but yes, that will be an expensive acquisition for the Suns and I don't think they can afford to trade their current roster.
Suns are gonna trade Deandre Ayton, if they could work a deal for KD that would be a very impressive team next year. The Suns already had the best record in the West last year, imagine adding KD to CP3 Devin Booker, Crowder, Cameron Payne, and Bridges. Warriors would be in some trouble.
Deandre Ayton surely won't be enough if KD will go in the Suns, the team should let 2-3 players go in-exchange for KD. But rumors says that Ayton will likely end up in Hawks or Spurs but both said teams are not giving him max contract for now, they still want to test him for atleast a year before reaching that kind of agreement.

I think by Kyrie opting in, that pretty much means they're going to run it back with KD, Kyrie, and Ben Simmons.  That's going to be one awkward preseason...  I don't think they have any chance at making it work though.  Between stories of Kyrie insulting Nash in his own house, "can I see Kobe's MVP trophies?" and rumors of a rift between KD and Kyrie, not to mention that nobody seems to like Ben Simmons, and them making the Finals seems impossible.  We'll see...  Aging world class talent and disfunction didn't work too well for the Lakers...

That's the biggest problem of the Nets because they have two selfish players in their own roster, first there's Kyrie who left his team hanging especially in the times that his presence needed the most because he denied to get vaccinated even if he has a contract to fulfill.

And there's Ben Simmons who's still a problem to the team because of his mental issues that are still under construction as of this moment and the team don't know he can really play or will he play at all.

I think Kyrie hasn't been a net positive for any team he has played since Cavs days. He was in Boston for so many years and he was never really liked there, look at Boston without him right now and how much better they are doing right now. Nets was a short stint so far because of injuries, but I believe that they paid him a good amount of money to make sure that he brings his A game and he failed that too.

All in all, he was last great with Cavs, and ever since then I see him as a Westbrook kind of player who left his comfortable place and destroyed his all career. Kyrie could stay in Nets, but if he leaves he will still be doing the same thing as he is doing in Nets, which is being overvalued for what he brings.
That's because of his ego, after he left the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving has been looking at himself to be an entitled player that's why he grew selfish because he knows that he can always produce good numbers if he can play and his existence will be an asset to any team. He's been on the Celtics but the team's roster only grew impressively when he left the team and now he's bringing a havoc in the Nets.

In today's wacky Lakers trade rumors...  This almost seems realistic until you include the Nets...

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/the-los-angeles-lakers-could-acquire-kyrie-irving-and-gordon-hayward-in-huge-3-team-trade-with-charlotte-hornets-and-brooklyn-nets/ar-AAZ1bD6?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=d684b3d7f66643fa88d6f7b5f0b24a4b

It also looks like Dwayne Wade is playing with the idea of making a comeback.  Maybe his staying fit with his wife has paid some dividends to his body and he feels like he could make another run...  Sort of doubtful, but if we're talking unrealistic moves, it would be fun to think about Wade joining LeBron with the Lakers (the Cavs test didn't work out so well) along with Love leaving Cleveland for LA.  Honestly though, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers have to run it back with what they have.  That Westbrook contract is just something they might have to let run it's course.
It's clear that such a marginal trade would have to be quite difficult to pull off, even if you are Lakers. I mean getting Kyrie AND hayward at the same time. I would totally understand Charlotte if they want to get rid of Haywards contract, that's understandable and I understand Lakers want to get rid of Westbrook, and hell I would understand Nets getting rid of Kyrie as well.

But, the one that makes no sense, Lakers would get rid of Westbrook, whereas Nets would not get any of the big names, they would get players like Nunn and THT, which is surely fine if you want to rebuild, but they are not after that and this trade wouldn't get them better at all. Wade situation also sounds just a rumor, there is no way that dude could comeback and still be great. Sure maybe he kept his fitness, but scoring, or playing, does not equal being fit.

Everything shouldnt really be blamed out to him but its true that having that selfish kind of act or behavior or something in related will really be just considered to be overvalued.Cant really deny that he's a good player

but we know that this sport isnt a 1-man game which means that having harmony and teamwork would be the key on winning some basket and not just purely be that confident because you do just consider
to be that good and doesnt mind whether you do make out different transfers on different team since you do know your worth.

Well if both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving leave the Brooklyn nets i think this would mean that they will be next season really bad. I dont even hear any rumours of some big superstars signing with Brooklyn nets so i think this is a disaster for this team. They bought a lot of superstars and didnt win the nba and now everyone is leaving

There are rumors that the Lakers and Nets are working to finalize a deal. Supposedly it will be KD and Kyrie for AD and Westbrook plus a few picks and some $$$. This seems like an insane rumor but there are reports that they are close to a deal. KD and LeBron together would be something else. If that happens I’ll definitely be seeing a few Lakers games live next year. It would be the greatest pairing since Shaq and Kobe.

How can you say that Simmons will still be like that? It's just the first time he was traded to another team so what reference can we look at?

It does, that's another problem if Ben Simmons will still be like that while on the Brooklyn Nets. He likes that trade and really looks forwards to it. He gets rid of his problem already and he should be good now. New environment, new teammates, another start. I don't see any reason why he should make some drama again not unless another personal problems between him and one of his teammates occur.

And don't worry. Steve Nash already has a good portfolio and experience dealing with a Diva. I think it's even hard to handle the other one compare to doing some good talks with Ben Simmons. The other one has lots of egos to deal with compared to Ben Simmons who I think just needs a new environment to play with.

Lots of smoke on the KD to the Suns trade, Ayton+Bridges + 1 or 2 future draft picks? well that's what has been circulating. So KD+Booker might be good, but KD+CP3? hmm, that ego in the locker room will be so huge, hehehe

I think KD is doing one more ring chase, needs another one to make it 3 for him. However, the question though, is he a bus rider or the bus driver?

anyone talk about this trade?  Spurs trade Dejounte Murray to Hawks for Danilo Gallinari, 3 first-rounders.

Hawks receive:

• Dejounte Murray
• Jock Landale

Spurs receive:

• Danilo Gallinari
• 2023 first-round pick (via Charlotte from New York, protected)
• 2025 first-round pick
• 2026 pick swap
• 2027 first-round pick

If Durant, LeBron, and Irving were on the same team, it would be the most dominant trio of the last decade. Although I doubt the Lakers will be able to pull off such a crazy deal. It seems more realistic to me that Durant might be traded for Booker and other Suns players. In any case, we will definitely see some big deals this offseason, given that many interesting rumors are popping up right now.

I think if there is a suitor for Kyrie (and reports it is only one, the Lakers, because of Kyrie's history), then it will only be Lebron and Kyrie again and I don't think they are going to include AD in this trade, perhaps it it will be like Westbrook for Kyrie exchange.

And for Durant, Phoenix is the name that keeps popping up in the media that most likely Durant will move. As for who is the player, maybe Booker or Ayton.

I think in the long term, if will be the Spurs who is going to win with that tone of first round pick in the future. We all know that they have a keen eye of picking players, we've seen in already.

However, if we look at the current, Murray with Trae Young will be a huge combo. It will lift a lot of lot on Trae's shoulder as he has someone to help him in scoring, and then Murray a good defender too. So it depends on how you look at the trade, short and long term goals by either of the team, so I would say both and Atlanta will see the fruits early on.

Lots of rumors about the trade and we really can't conclude if what's the package that surrounds those trades, the names attached

is no longer on their primes and does have either injury or an attitude concerns, Personally, if AD+WB to KD+Kyrie Lakers will have a better

take. LeBron can handle Kyrie while I'm not sure about AD if he can develop good chemistry with WB and the rest of Nets squad. They

both in the same uniform but didn't play that long together.

That's an amazing twist if they can really make things work when they are playing on the court especially Irving with Lebron because these two have already proved that they are means championship since they didn't only bring the team to the finals one time but multiple times and they won 1 time which was the great thing to have. Now that they gonna have a chance to be together if the rumor is right, Lebron and Durant can retire peacefully with the Lakers if they managed to build strong chemistry playing together.

If Ben can bring that hatred into an inspiration to keep improving his skills and talent, he is still young and there are

many potential enhancement and improvement in his career, maturing is very important not being affected by any critics should
be the thing that he and his agent have to overcome. After all, he will continue to receive a paycheck as long as he is present during the practice and during the game, win or lose, there's no change that will happen to his salaries.

This is always the problem of NBA Star due to tough competition which even fans extent there support to there own favorite player and team that result to personally attacking players that they didn’t like. This pressure is also the reason why many star player fall and never get up there game to there best. This is part of NBA player and playing inside the court is such a good opportunity to them already. I really hope the Ben will overcome his personal problem because he has a lot of contribution that can be given to Nets if he get back to his feet again. I doubt that he can make it instantly but this is a work in progress and maybe we can see him around this season properly.

How about Karl-Anthony Towns signing a 4 year deal for 56 million per year? That’s crazy money. I’m not sure KAT is worth that much considering he’s never really won anything and he seemed jealous of their new addition Anthony Edwards, who some think to be the team’s best player. I think this contract is going to really hurt them going forward, but they must have felt it was necessary. That’s crazy money though. About 20 million per year more than he is probably worth.

anyone talk about this trade?  Spurs trade Dejounte Murray to Hawks for Danilo Gallinari, 3 first-rounders.

Quote
Hawks receive:

• Dejounte Murray
• Jock Landale

Spurs receive:

• Danilo Gallinari
• 2023 first-round pick (via Charlotte from New York, protected)
• 2025 first-round pick
• 2026 pick swap
• 2027 first-round pick

Who won in this trade?
Hawks won on this trade, no doubt about that. But that is for this season run and I think the Spurs will start rebuilding. I just don't understand why they would sacrifice Murray who is a rising star. Perhaps there is nothing better to offer, that's why.
Spurs may be pushing to do the same as Houston Rocket did. Lean on the drafts and maybe they will find gems to polish and have a new trio that will take them back to the championship.

He is young, more to prove. About the contract, yeah I think it's too much. The run to the playoffs might've something to do about this. But, imo, that money should've been kept for Edwards because it's true he will be their best player soon.
