With a 3-1 win at Brighton, LIverpool have just set a new record.
According to Fifa.com, ''The #ClubWC winners have reached 30 league wins in a season faster than any team in the 132-year history of the English top flight''
Manchester City also set a record of their own yesterday when they beat Newcastle 5-0, they became the first team in the EPL to have five players all on ten goals and above in a season, Mahrez's goal yesterday took him to ten goals and he joins the other four players all above ten in the epl this season: Aguero, Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and KDB; doesn't mean much to them i'm sure, but errrm, still a record nonetheless. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka were delivering pretty strong performances during the last weeks. In addition to that FC Bayern also has Michaël Cuisance and they just signed Tanguy Nianzou from Paris-Saint-Germain, who can also play the central position.
Kimmich has been playing in midfield for sometime now, but we know his favorite position is at right back, versatile players who can perform in more than one wing is what managers love, pep did it when he was at Bayern, IIRC he played Philip Lahm in the defensive midfield role, just as Flick is doing now with Joshua Kimmich; but with time or prolly if there's a change of manager in the team, the player usually returns back to his normal wing. That being said Kimmich may prolly start next season at right back and imo Nianzou is not just good enough.

In the last 4 games Burleny won 3 just by scoring 1 goal and drew another game only by scoring 1 goal, I didn't expect yesterday to win just by scoring 1 goal Grin
I usually favor Burnley to win against mid/bottom table teams, they have problems when they play the teams with superstars like Manchester City, but teams on the same level as them find it very difficult to break their defensive line. Credit to Sean Dyche for building his team to defend so well, and they also manage to score at the other end, though not more than one often, Grin imo their defenders: Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee etc are the most important in the team.

I shall update the op with a few details, but I think my ego is pumped enough for the moment, I will do whenever I will feel down.
Well no one can have any complaints about this sort of ego, so take your time Grin. Congratulations fillipponi, IIRC i earned my first merits from you last month (four in total i think) I prolly am not active in the boards you frequent the most, but you are a generous MS i must say and the statistics also proves that and i also rate your posts as HQ. Congrats on your meritversary, 3,500 merits in two years, with your merit ratio, you could really be a MS without actually getting refilled every month Grin.

We got some interesting news on two of the older players of Bayern München's current squad. Javi Martínez is about to leave Bayern this summer,
If news of Thiago Alcantara leaving Bayern (to Liverpool) turns out to be true and now Javi Martinez, I don't think it's too good for Bayern, losing two senior midfield players at the same time going into next season. I know they are both above 29, but they bring experience in the center of the field for the German champions. Any news on possible replacements?
4827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 07, 2020, 05:00:09 PM
Im confident that both Chelsea and Leicester will try their best to win . Chesea has a high chance to win but Leicester and Watford is kinda like a wild card if you include that in your betslip
Palace will not likely be easy for Chelsea, Their backline has shown weakness when they are put under pressure by good attackers, we saw that against West Ham. Rudiger is shaky and Christensen/Zouma isn't convincing, Azpilicueta is prolly the strongest link in their defense atm. Zaha and Jordan Ayew may help secure a point for Palace today.

I'm more confident of a win for Watford, i don't think Norwich will win any game again this season, they must have accepted their relegation fate, and in the Arsenal game BTTS is prolly the safest bet imo.
4828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 06, 2020, 06:34:38 PM
For some people this is unfair, they say if referee always helping Juventus to win the match. Especially for crucial match or in a big match.
Lol, to watch juve win the trophy every season may be boring and annoying for non-juventus fans, but to say they do that because referees help them to win some big games is a BS thing to say. How possible is it than the officials every season, nine consecutive times, decide the champions and in many of this seasons second place is usually very far behind Juve, they are just the best. Lazio and also Inter Milan (before the new yr) tried to usurp Juve this season and i hope they or maybe some other team achieves that next season.
4829  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to advertise cryptocurrency exchange platform? on: July 06, 2020, 06:14:19 PM
1. Create a token for your exchange if you don't have one yet and then coordinate with various airdrop channels to advertise it. If I am not mistaken, Binance became an instant hit because they did this.
Not another unneeded token, creating one for your exchange may even be counterproductive cause most newly created token/coin is a scam and if your exchange (which is also new) is associated with one, it can also be accused to be a scam exchange; and that being said, Binance token was created in 2017, and you know how much things have changed since then.
4830  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 06, 2020, 05:08:33 PM
A trade war between China and India would only mean an even greater weakening of China, as India will have to turn to imports from some other countries. I don't think you need to be too intelligent to see the bigger picture of the problem, and here the economic-political war is obviously at work in what seems to be its initial stage.
National trade policy has always involved politics in one way or another, countries trade more with those they have close political ties with, and the moment there's a fraction on their political landscape, they both seek means to frustrate the economy of the other (it being the backbone of every country) in anyway they can. China vs India are the latest in this economic cum political war and imo it's going to impede China more, they are more of the front-runners in the chase against the US to be the leading economy in the world; and obviously China threw themselves into this political war without assessing what they stand to lose in the grander picture.
I do think it's time we stay safe and if needed , ban the trade . Chinese products don't have much shelf life and are most of the times just used because they are cost effective. India can very easy employee their population for new industries and start producing things inside their own country.
Producing things/goods locally does not inhibit international trade, AFAIK it's not possible to use only things produced locally, and every country imports either goods or uses applications etc made by others. TikTok was one of those applications India banned, with more users there than anywhere else in the world, how do you expect all these people to leave TIkTok for another (local) app.
4831  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long can the gov keep up the economic lie: downplaying the pandemic? on: July 06, 2020, 11:12:06 AM
For any government to dig a shithole and start covering the said hole with lies is deceit, the government had already planed this ahead of 2020, and they quite understand that her citizens will face the hard part of the pandemic. The only way to boost citizens moral is for them the government to continue with the damn lies. This won't stop until they are through with us, coronavirus has come to stay with us, the possibility of it disappear in short time is zero. They are depopulating the world which they have said some years back.
The government had panned what? Prolly only China and the world health organization knew about corona virus before 2020, in a world were there are few allies to a country and multiple other foes, how can you think it's possible they all unite for a cause in depopulating the world, at this cost and for what benefit?

4833  Other / Politics & Society / Is Kanye joking on: July 05, 2020, 07:10:40 PM
Today Kanye announced that he will be running for president of the United States, i thought we'd have a thread on it here by now, but here it is, this is his tweet today:
Quote
We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” the 43-year-old musician wrote on Independence Day, using the hashtag “2020 vision.
The election is in November, that is four months from now (July) and Kanye West is declaring that he is in the race today, how serious can we take him? Social media has been buzzing and shocked with Kanye's tweet. We all know of Kanye West's support for Donald Trump, so why the sudden change and decision to run against him. There have been so many opinions on this:
Quote
Many on social media have dismissed the announcement as a publicity stunt, though others questioned: How did West go from being a vocal ally of President Donald Trump to announcing a run against him? Is this an attempt to draw some Black voters and young voters away from presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden?
What do you think?

4834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NATO officials say they were briefed on Russian bounties on US soldiers. on: July 05, 2020, 03:47:01 PM
For me the problem is that democrats tried too much to discredit Trump and it backfired a lot of time.
It backfires because election propagandas doesn't work in America any longer, it's easy for citizens of the US to know what's true and what's not, except prolly those on the side of the democrats. The democrats should try to think less of debasing Donald Trump's government and draft out better plans to take back power in the November polls.
4835  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you use a telegram advertising platform? on: July 05, 2020, 09:05:39 AM
Is there a way to block those ads?
No, as long as one is a member of the telegram group/channel, you'll see the ads when it's posted or pinned by the owner/admin of the TG channel. You can obviously leave the group to block the ads permanently though Grin.
Does it make sense at all?
It does and doesn't on the basis of what you want to advertise and how much you want to spend, if you want to advertise something not too important with a small amount, then posting your ad on TG channels with good numbers of subscribers may be fine; but if your ads are significant, you have to top your budget and seek better platforms for your ad.
4836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 04, 2020, 10:52:47 PM
Arsenal winning surprised me too but winning with 2 goals surprised me even more.
I had confidence that wolves were favorites to win against Arsenal today, a home game for them after a perfect restart to the epl and also cause they have a slim chance of qualifying for the champions league and Arsenal do not. I placed my bet on wolves to win, with a +1 handicap to make it safe, but Arsenal still won, so wolves and I lost  Grin
Leicester will host a resurgent Arsenal team; while MUFC face Aston Villa and Chelsea visits Crystal Palace.
Leicester are in trouble if you ask me, United and Chelsea have easier opponents to face, and I think they'll win, and Arsenal also know how to win when they play Leicester city, they may be fourth after this round of matches.
4837  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BestChange. Interview 07.2020 on: July 04, 2020, 12:22:35 PM
I try to look for interesting projects, but I come across the fact that people do not have too much time or they simply do not want to communicate.
I'd put a portion of the blame on how the internet and the media works atm, this projects I'm sure have the time to be interviewed, but they do not want to because of how information given can be twisted and embellished over the internet, you could say one thing when being interviewed and a totally different thing gets published.

@zasad, you publish it exactly the way the interview was conducted, but the projects may not be sure like we are, I think if they trust your interviews to be transparent by seeing the previous ones done, you'd get more projects to interview.
4838  Economy / Economics / Re: Privacy Coins and The Shadow Economy on: July 04, 2020, 06:46:38 AM
The underground economy is populated by people who work only to meet their daily needs, evading tax and government regulations as they do so, you'd not expect a sex worker for example who works at night to collect payments in monero or in any cryptocurrency, cash (fiat) is what's more convenient for people who work through many jobs unnoticed by the government.

Maybe more prominent parts of the illegal economy, like those into drug/human trafficking who make a lot of money from this illegal industry may use cryptocurrency, they are more of rich people, so may not need to move their coins out all the time to meet any need. They can prolly then use the blockchain as their bank, instead of the traditional banks. But imo many of them would still use bitcoin instead of monero, the same way online scammers do.

will Thiago move from bayern munich to fc liverpool...?
It's a good move for Liverpool, they have good midfielders but i don't think any of them is really creative, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita and even Milner cause he plays I'm midfield sometimes are all good midfielders, but they are not the type of midfielders I'll call creative, that can penetrate a tight defense with a good skill and a good through ball.

Thiago imo is that sort of midfielder, i enjoy how he moves with the ball and also beats players with his trickery, he'll solidify an already excellent midfield with his own set of talents, he has played in Spain, now in Germany, trying the epl out with Liverpool is also a good move for him.
