The statistics on gun deaths in Europe are not really different than in the U.S. We do have a lot of shootings every year, but in Europe the whole continent kills each other off every once and a while. Mostly unarmed people are rounded up and executed in the millions. That is supposed to be a better system? It would could not happen that way here.

Are we in the beginning of a new rally or it's too early to say that?
I see no evidence of a rally. That $310 price was not "the price" of bitcoin.

They did more, now they have more. Why should they be ashamed?
isn't this not healthy at all for bitcoin, how can we expect a high price in this way? hoping that one day one rich guy pump it? bah... There is a lot more talk of pumping than pumping. Perhaps among alt coins the market is still small enough for that, but the price is mostly a function of simple demand. If you buy bitcoin then use bitcoin, it's real power is revealed. Utility is the most important thing about bitcoin. It is the cheapest, fastest, and safest way to pay anyone anywhere. It is not an investment vehicle of any kind and using it that way is extremely risky. A few people may have gotten quite rich early on, but that phase is over. IMO. Those that did make a lot of BTC worked hard on projects that advanced the bitcoin economy. In 2011 the vibe here was totally different. It was about taking on the banks and spreading the word. Now it's a bunch of kids that want to know what computer buttons to push to get rich. Now everyone wants a loan or a handout, or to be let in on the secrets. Well, the secret is hard work. If you want a lot of bitcoin then start something of value, go hungry while it grows, later the earnings will flow.

Perhaps you can bring it up at your next meeting? That's a good idea. Currently we farm it out to Al-Qaeda. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

There are a few problems with your strategy.
1. Bitcoin was never intended as an "investment". It does not behave like one and it would be extremely risky to try treating it like one. This is a social experiment and could go away tomorrow or it could be huge.
2. When investing follow the two most important rules: Only invest in something you completely understand and never invest any money unless you are willing to lose all of it.
3. Asking someone else what the price is going to be is a waste of time. Sure, you may find people with bold predictions, but they do not know anything you don't. No one knows.
best of luck

bitcoin has dropped from $680 to $460 ($310 at btce) since Jun 2014
bitcoin is going to nowhere but down, even lying scammer and bag holders like fonsie/dropt have given up fooling people to buy and crying to die
Amen. And the same with gold. Gold is way down and will go to zero within the year. Sell now, or you'll be caught holding nothing but bags of worthless gold. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

No I would not. I know that this will likely offend many liberals however being gay is really not being American.
Edit: I just realize the OP say hetro sexual. My response is for homosexual.
So, there were no gay pilgrims? No gay cowboys?, please. Not that they are Americans anyway. Only native Americans are real Americans. They had no problem with "two spirit" people.

I dont understand why you need to own a rifle if you arent a hunter.
I could understand a 9mm Semi automatic pistol in the drawer next to your bed if a home invasion should ever happen.. But the need for having rifles, smgs, and other weapons is just insanity.
12.000+ people gets shot in the US alone by fire arms. That is insanely high..
Why cant you just put down the weapons and be like other nations..?
You cant own any kind of firearms in EU. Only if you have a hunting license, and a specific license for your hunting weapon.. Any person in the US can get a gun in less than 2 hours.
It's weird to me that people always make an exception for owning a gun as long as you are using it to kill animals. I target shoot. If I duct tape a bunny to the target, would that make it ok? As for the people who get shot each year, you do realize those are criminals doing the shooting. And the victims are normally other criminals. This is an argument for having guns, right? Lastly, your assertion that "Any person in the US can get a gun in less than 2 hours." is incorrect. There are many, many restrictions on firearms in the U.S. I bought a pistol last week and it took about a week to do the process of background checks and shipping to a FFL. It also involved a handfull of government agencies. You see, when you say "Why cant you just put down the weapons and be like other nations..?"....
What happens here is that people don't believe the politician who encourages them in that direction, and they do the exact opposite. There are, by the way, a huge number of liberal Democrats with lots of guns. It's not just conservative thinkers.
+1 I'm not a republican. But I am an American and we don't believe in an armed state ruling an unarmed populace. The state is subservient to our will and we must be able to fight it if necessary. That sounds dramatic, but one need look no further than the news to see why we like it that way.

Fund an account at an exchange in your country and withdraw coins as you purchase them. A money order may be a good option for funding and bitcoin qt may be a good wallet for you to withdraw to. What I do is then spend from that wallet when I make purchases on the internet and I may save some percent for the future.
I would NOT in any way recommend buying online outside of an exchange. Certainly don't use PayPal or anything like that, and escrow is a must outside of exchanges.

Frankly, it may be more profitable to try selling the electricity you generate for bitcoin.
