4822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't you hate it when.... on: April 08, 2021, 01:26:03 AM
My teams never come back, just let me think there is hope and then fxxk me. Basically in this game they fxxked me 3 times. First playing shit and go down by 19, then teasing the first comeback and then the 2. one.

It never ends for me.

You said it yourself, it already screwed you 3 times so why still bet on them on your 2nd lose from them? Sportsbetting is also gambling in which luck still plays a role to win. The strong team that often win can still lose their momentum and have a losing streak sometimes. Don't blame them if it got your hopes up, don't gamble if you can afford to lose your money. This is the same on other games, it gets you pumped then, in the end, you will just lose tempting you to bet more hoping for a comeback.
4823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading an occupation? on: April 07, 2021, 07:52:54 AM
Occupation means a job or profession. I don't consider trading an occupation but instead, it is a business where your main goal is to not get bankrupt. You buy a stock or crypto, etc. at a particular price then sell it for a higher price. It's like you have a mini grocery you buy some goods at a cheaper price then sell them higher. Trend can be correlated on those because you will prefer what gives you more profit in a short amount of time. Trading can't really be an occupation even if you are good at reading charts and indicators. You can't always predict the market especially if it's cryptocurrencies where the coins are very volatile.
4824  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Possible ATH ng isang coin, paano malaman? on: April 07, 2021, 05:01:30 AM

FDMC = Current Price * Max/Total Supply

Then to know kung hanggang saang price possible na tumaas ang isang coin, Here's the formula:
Expected price = Fully Diluted Market Cap/Valuation ÷ Circulating Supply

Formula: FDMC= Total Supply * Expected Price

$10,000,000,000 FDMC= 100,000,000 * $100
4825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoins pumping like crazy - is the BTC Bullcycle ending? on: April 07, 2021, 04:09:02 AM
It's just that bitcoin dominance is lower than before reason for many altcoins to pump right now. Bitcoin bull cycle won't end soon, we are not even near the speculation of $100k this year and I'm really expecting that to happen because of many big institutions now adopting blockchain technology. We should just enjoy alt season for now because this is the time we can accumulate more bitcoin. Once bitcoin overcome its previous ATH then a new one could likely happen soon.
4826  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens after Alt Season? on: April 07, 2021, 03:09:46 AM
With "alt seasons", while it's likely that bitcoin also goes up in price, it usually lags behind most altcoins. Though investing in altcoins sounds great, it isn't really that much of a good idea for an "investment", because it's pretty tough to pick which altcoins are going to actually survive for years. I'd personally make trades, but not investments outside of BTC.

Trading altcoins is a big help to accumulate more bitcoin because the chance of getting a 50% gain or more in an altcoin is high during this alt season. It is not that hard to choose which altcoin to invest for long term, just look at the top 10 and if you will research about them they are continuous doing their roadmap or ongoing projects. Just look at BNB now, it started from 2$ way back 2017 and it is top 3 now in the coinmarketcap. For small crypto trader like me, we prefer altcoin because trading bitcoin now does not give that much profit compared to altcoins.

For the OP, it depends what will happen after alt season. If btc dominance increase then it could make new ATH again. If not then we could see some major correction like 20% for bitcoin, if this happens alt would suffer more so I suggest before this happens have some stablecoins prepared to buy during this correction.
4827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocurrency Casino Sites? on: April 07, 2021, 02:18:54 AM
just to add to what Charles-Tim suggested. I recommend you to check out https://www.btcgosu.com/ I use it from time to time to check out gambling sites I haven't tried before. they also have a thread here in the forum. also, the gambling site recommended there has a good reputation here in the forum.

their ANN thread ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐

The website is very helpful for someone who is looking for a reputable platform to gamble. They are running for many years now and they always have events to keep their players stay on their platform. Some of them offer a cashback depending on the amount you wagered. Some also have signature campaign in this forum that is managed by reputable forum members here and has been continuous for weeks or months now showing that they have good profits on their website.
4828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any chat rooms about altcoins?? on: April 06, 2021, 10:35:25 AM
I'm looking for chat room for altcoins or cryptocurrency in general

chat a regular chat room like in he old days, you put user names, thats it!

NO DISCORD, TELEGRAM OR ANY OF THAT, they all have too many restrictions, and  you have to register and bla bla, and you have to be member for certain amount of time, or know somebody,, etc etc

>is really bulls#it!,..so much for a free world, and can't even chat freely about money creation.. back in the 90s you only put your user name and you chat of whatever the hell you want... THATS WHAT I WANT! and THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE...

Does this chat room you want still even exist these days? Even using this forum requires a username and password. And even if you find one, do you think there are people that are crypto enthusiasts there? What's so difficult of creating those account you've mentioned? Those group or chat rooms in discord and telegrams are a big help as a crypto investor. It helped me analyzed not just what coin to invest in but also to trade. You don't need somebody or pay a certain amount to enter one of those groups.
4829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recovering losses on: April 06, 2021, 09:20:04 AM
I agree because recovering losses with other trades is easier than struggling with open trade without stoploss. Personally I have experienced trading without stoploss and I kept my open trade for weeks but market never bounced back; instead of booking a small loss at stoploss, I lost almost all my capital. Accepting losses and getting back to fresh mindset are the most important things every trader must get practice to. Because, these are the things will help you to recover your losses quickly rather than struggling in the wrong direction of market.

If you have tight capital, lowering the leverage can also help when you hit the stoploss. At 10x leverage you would only lose half of your margin if your pnl goes -100%. You would not be easily liquidated if you have proper risk management, I've learned this as I was trying to recover my loss also. Everytime I lose, my next trade will have bigger margin as I'm attempting to recover the previous loss but I ended up almost liquidated that time. Good thing I still have some balance in spot trading that I used the 25% of it to start again. Now, I'm slowly recovering from that loss not being greedy with my margins.
4830  Economy / Economics / Re: How the rich get richer and why it works on: April 06, 2021, 04:33:25 AM
In simple or shorter explanation they have the privilege to invest in something they want without risking big. They have many sources of income that they can afford to risk a portion of their money to try a new investment. They can afford to pay someone to do it for them or they can enroll to those expensive courses to widen their knowledge about that field. That is the reality that we live in, hard work is not enough to be rich like them.

This is also the reason why there are middle-income or below type of people that are very gullible to some investment schemes which is run by these wealthy people who are taking advantage of it to maintain their status.
4831  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: April 06, 2021, 03:50:36 AM
I was really amazed by those streamers hitting the jackpots like they are meant to get it. I was thinking that there is really something fishy on their bets because some of them win often than a normal gambler does, they bet without hesitation but they don't get suspicious from their fans so it is really hard to accuse them. They have a large fanbase so many will be tempted to try their luck on that platform. Even my friends tried but ended up with nothing in their bankroll, I'll show this thread to them to avoid those paid streamers. Thanks for posting this to spread awareness.
4832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ballet CEO Bobby Lee Announces New Book on: April 06, 2021, 02:11:44 AM
I'm more attracted to the hardware wallet because it supports many crypto as well as stablecoins. Is there a free downloadable pdf of the book that contains few pages like maybe 3 to convince more people to purchase it? I don't know anything about Bobby Lee but he seems a reputable person in the world of crypto. I found out that he owns an exchange which was very popular way back 2014.

Anyway, when is the sale of those 3 bundles end? I'm planning to buy the silver bundle but still hesitating if I can save enough amount before the sale ends.
4833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still hot but Bitcoin Dominance is dropping. What does it tell? on: April 05, 2021, 10:40:20 AM
I think that Bttzed03 explained the situation quite well, because a large part of investors currently consider BTC too expensive and looking for alternatives that can bring them much more significant profits in the short term. I would not worry too much that BTC is losing its dominance, so it was in the past where we can see that this factor was even close to 30% in January 2018.

The whole thing just proves once again that most of those involved in crypto are not reluctant to invest in any coin, it is important that there is a chance of the highest possible return on investment in the shortest possible time. No one can say that someone is stupid for buying a certain altcoin in early 2017 for only $8, and that same one is worth over $2000 today.

What if btc could reach new ATH again, will bitcoin dominance increase again? Because many are saying $70k is possible this month. Most people like me that who only have small amount to invest prefer altcoins because a 50% gain is very easy. If bitcoin dominance starts increasing again because of new ATH then this will not be good for altcoins. Many are saying it is altseason now but they are contradicting it with bitcoin being $70k. I don't think both situation can happen.
4834  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Chips.gg Signature Campaign | The Ultimate Crypto Casino | Sr. Members+ on: April 05, 2021, 05:33:02 AM
Anyone receive their payments for week 2?

Mine has not appeared yet on my account balance. I thought it was just delay but seeing that Hhampuz said payment was sent and no one posted with the same issue as mine so I assume everyone already received their payment except me. Though I received week 1 payment without any issues.

I hope Hhampuz will report this issue to admins of chips.gg.
4835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will crypto sportsbook replace fiat sportsbook in the future? on: April 05, 2021, 04:40:06 AM
It won't be easy to replace the fiat sportsbook. Even the idea of replacing fiat over crypto is impossible for me because there are still people that will prefer the traditional fiat. Add to that is cryptos are very volatile, your portfolio could go up and down a lot in just a day. For it to be less volatile, it needs to be regulated but that would destroy the purpose of cryptocurrencies.

As for the KYC, if a crypto sportsbook becomes popular than a traditional sportsbook then a simple KYC should really be implemented to avoid fraudulent activities on their platform.
4836  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Lucky Login Prize + 225 mBTC raffle 🐰 on: April 04, 2021, 07:42:16 AM
I just created my account there and applied for the beta test, just want to know if I need to submit KYC requirements first to be able to do withdrawals.

The android app looks really promising and I've been looking for a standalone android app like this for a long time so I hope I can be a beta tester.

4837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being unpredictable on: April 04, 2021, 03:52:38 AM
This is difficult to do and from my experience, those people that with extraordinary ability to control their emotions can only do this and often times they treat gambling as their career. If in a normal situation or other type of gambling games we can't control our emotion then being unpredicatable in poker is really impossible. Each of us has a 1 or 2 particular strategy that we follow in gambling, if we stick to that then in the long run our opponent will get used to it. To be unpredictable is to use different types of strategy as well as learning to be emotionless in different situations.
4838  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Online Sabong Bayad Crypto? on: April 01, 2021, 03:39:35 PM
4839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: April 01, 2021, 03:01:07 PM
This differs on the capital and risk management of us. There are others that do high leverage and low margin in futures trading. While there are others who thinks trading can make them millionaire fast that doesn't manage their margins well. I myself is a high leverage, low margin trader and so far I'm earning 30% of my 100$ capital with this bull market. The profit is not that big but the risk of being liquidated is very low. I want to increase my capital but my income is just enough for my personal responsibilities and also afraid because if I lose, earning that money again won't be easy.
4840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 01, 2021, 01:48:17 PM
This kind of thing like groups giving signals commonly happens on the group like social media and mostly the members of this group are sharing their experience and mostly the newbies come out to join here if they don't have a knowledge they become dependent on the decision of other people which is not good I think the first thing they let their money decide on the perspective of another trader, second they make an investment or trading to the broker they are using without essential knowledge and there are lot things but good if they just come there and gather information for their trading not to follow trading.

I'm sure they know the risk of just depending on someone they don't really know without having any knowledge the fundamentals of trading. The person giving the signal has also a responsibility to maintain his reputation if he wants more people to subscribe to his paid signals. I can say these paid signals are worth to try if you can really afford it. You are paying their experience and knowledge in trading. Just make sure that you can earn enough to maintain your subscription before it expires.
