Good to hear the adults have arrived.

Please ignore all the 'nothing has changed because I'm still whining' idiots.   Wink

Meanwhile, in a different reality

Gives me some confidence...though I really wish they would update us regarding this tapeout...

The tape-out was supposed to be finished the first week of October.

It's now the last day of October.

Cointerra is, at minimum, one month behind schedule.

And of course they will have other delays.

So there is zero chance of Cointerra shipping in Dec.

Jan 2014 isn't looking good either.

So much for Cointerra's 'Dream Team.   Roll Eyes

LOL! Thats exact the point of the bullshit thats going on in this hardware manufacturers threads.
4823  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Guesstimate thread for total ASIC pre-order hashing power [MODERATED] on: October 31, 2013, 02:39:45 PM
I think this needs to be looked at as much from the expenditure side as the forecast fabrication side.

In essence, a years worth of investment is coming onto the network now and over the next few months.  A lot of new miners (like me) have spent their available cash on pre-orders.  I'm not sure that the market will be there to pay for the production of the ~ 6 PH/s that's been announced by the new ASIC foundries over the past couple of weeks.

Of course, I could be very wrong, and new corporate-scale mining companies with new external capital might appear, but the existing contract 'cloud' hashing services don't seem to me to be capturing that much interest.

So another way to look at the question would be to try and calculate retrospective month-by-month dollar spends, and projecting that curve and factoring in some approximate hashrate-per-dollar forecasts.

I really hope your pre-orders arrive on time. Every day I hear another company postponing delivery.

If all the companies postpone by 1-2 months the roi-calculations stay pretty much the same cause we see then also a postponed diff-increase by 1-2 months.

Diff increase has to be fueled by someone and if those companies have delays then the diff-increase has also delays.

What an interesting point of view...
So HF is free not to show proof that everything was ready but this stupid substrate that had a problem and i can't complain about that because it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Tragicomic.

Man you just dont get it do you?!!!

You arent "just complaining" about HF missing their deadline and the "stupid substrate". That woudnt be any problem at all.

You are constantly pouring bullshit into this thread like your bullshit difficulty estimates  ("we all gonna earn just 4 BTC") or your constant accusations that HF are lying.

And to exceed all of this you havent even the balls to stand up to the bullshit you are proclaiming and instead are starting to whine that this is all so "stressfull" for you.

I got a good advice for you: Just leave!
4826  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 30, 2013, 04:05:17 PM
Come on...

Seriously dude, you are constantly unnerving all of us here and are demanding indulgence?!
4827  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 30, 2013, 04:02:06 PM
?
Tired of everything, bitcoin and especially mining is not for me. Too much stress.

Yeah, you are definitely not at your comfort zone in this business.

But why the fuck do you also start to stress others?!? Cause thats exactly what you are doing when you state things like those in your signature.

Its a somehow exhausting situation for all of us, but to spread the bullshit you do in this thread wont help anyone here. It just makes our all waiting situation much more exhausting and annoying.
4828  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 30, 2013, 03:57:11 PM
But for what hashrates?

How about those?

I wasn't replying to you... I was replying to the HF's continuously propagandised 31 Dec date.

Just for the luz of us, batch 1 owners, our non-roi if shipped by the end of this month.

4 BTC per BJ, 1/10 of what you spent. BFL style for the win!

Diff of 11325Mio = 81090TH/s network performance
4829  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 30, 2013, 03:37:46 PM
Let me know how much per month (same amount and you have to bet for all months) and who you want to hold the escrowed funds.   I can match your bet today so hedge away.
Come on, we all agree that it will be below the 150% per month projected with tgb.

14 PH in Dec, 30 PH in Jan, 80 PH in Feb, and 160 PH in Ma
7 PH in Dec, 15 PH in Jan and 30 PH in Feb would make sense to me. What are your estimates?

May i remind you?

You don't see that hashrate coming?
Why don't you bet against me? That will allow to hedge my investment and will be free money for you.

So whats wrong now!?!!

Cedivad, look at my history of posts - I'm in no way associated with HashFast (as a shill or a customer), yet I still believe Perozoso's  point is valid.

Another thing:
2) just after the delay, people realised that the delay will cost them 75%+ of their investment.
The delay is about three weeks (20-30 Oct to middle Nov). Let's say it is a whole month - you are going to lose mining in November. It would be around 12 BTC or less.
Is 12 BTC equal to 75%+ of the investment?
I estimate 400 GH/s machine to earn up to 35 BTC between Dec 2013 and the end of 2014, and then still earn more (not hosted, with 0.15 $/kWh electricity).
Even if my estimates are wrong, add MPP to that. You won't lose (at least in USD).

My conclusions: Don't use TGB calculator and don't exaggerate. This delay is nothing. More dangerous would be delaying two or three months, but then MPP or refunds would kick in.

Also estimate rather 500 GH instead of 400. They already hinted that peformance will be higher.

Careful with this one, guys.. monitor your temps. My machines are running hot. Each chip about 2-4 degrees higher on 0.9.8.

As long as it does not affect HW errors %, 2-4 degrees higher doesnt matter, right?
Probably correct. It may affect the lifespan of the machine, but since all the money is to be made within the next couple months, I don't suppose that really matters.. I rolled back as a precaution until further reports come in. Then I'll most likely re-upgrade.

those chips should be capable of 100°C+. so absolutely no reason to ring the alarm bell here.

Hey guys,

I believe KnC Updated the Firmware in their hosted units.

It's looking like my Jupiters are getting 600gh+ (650gh on some and 700gh on one)

I'll need more time to see if this is variation but it looks like this new firmware could be a massive increase in hashrate.

Wanted to know if anyone is experiencing similar with their hosted units.

(The update appears to have happened in the past hour)
Shocked

News von heute: "After the attacks that we’ve experienced from August 2013 till the October we’ve lost user balances data and huge part of the funds. We still can not figure out the full list of vulnerabilities that have been used to perform the attack. "

Naaa was sagt uns das?

Was sagt es uns denn?

I'm planning to visit the HashFast office in SF this Wednesday.

It will be a fairly short affair (30m), but I would be happy to relay some forum questions in person. No guarantees I'll get answers though Smiley

Ask them when we can expect the MPP to be delivered.

It kicks in with negative ROI 90 days after delivery, but how long will it take after those 90 days till we receive the MPP-boards?
4839  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: 50BTC wird gerade richtig gehackt!!! on: October 27, 2013, 04:32:11 PM

Wäre ja nicht das erste mal das sie aus eigener Tasche zahlen. Gab bei 50BTC soweit ich weiss schonmal so eine Situation.

4840  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: 50BTC wird gerade richtig gehackt!!! on: October 27, 2013, 04:13:22 PM

Ich denke sie werden auszahlen und den Verlust aus eigener Tasche zahlen. Allerdings erst in 2-3 Wochen.
