I'm not talking about coming to a sustainable solution, there are better ways to come about that. I'm just looking to offer support to individual people, I mean if sending a couple of dollars can literally provide food for almost an entire month, why not? I hadn't even mentioned Bitcoin mining, so I don't know why you started about that? bitcoin itself doesnt solve poverty issues, its not designed for that. bitcoin and fighting general absolute poverty shouldnt be even mentioned in a sentence, bitcoin is an instrument of a mining cartel that seeks to enrich themselves. but bitcoins value comes not from them its from the perspective of decentralisation and reducing the influence of the banking cartels. bitcoin is nothing else but purchasing power distributed, via stake of installed computation power. promoting such a currency in a society which gets their infrastructure managed by an aging group of socialist visionary workers is no great idea |

It's a real challenge since there are so many blockchain businesses out there. How to stand out and get noticed above the noise?
In my opinion you need a few things.
> You need a business plan. Don't make it too long but it should contain some key points including a reasonable financial plan which is ideally backed up with some kind of financial model that's available on request, enough detail to explain the business to a non-crypto investor, information on the market and competition and the team. 20 pages should be more than enough and there should be a powerful executive summary because most investors won't get past it.
> You need a team. One man businesses don't really cut it, you need a business that establishes credibility in technology and business.
> You need to show more than just an idea unless you have some serious credentials to make it worth investing in an idea. Everyone has ideas, you need to present more than that. The white paper and business plan at a minimum, a team, a partnership or end customer onboard, some code. Not all of this but something to show there's substance and passion.
> Sadly, what really helps then is connections. A good team will have some connections but it's really difficult to get going without some good links.
I'm happy to help if I can because I know it can be difficult to get going. Keep in mind that blockchain investors get spammed with countless propositions so you really need to stand out.

Perhaps you've heard about this person who asked for help in the Nano subreddit and eventually received enough Nano to buy 300KGS of food for his small community in Venezuela. This is the story, which I've also posted in Altcoin Discussion: Now my real question: Is there a way to come into contact with individual people of families in Venezuela and support them through micro crypto donations? It would be pretty amazing if there was a platform that made something like this possible. I know this sort of thing could be abused, but it could be possible with a decent verification process and personal contact between donor and person in need. When you read that story on the Nano subreddit, the guy from Venezuela mentions that 0.5 Nano (around 1.4 USD at time of writing) is almost an entire month's salary! Do you think it can be possible to change out PoW and PoS mining algo's with something like rounds of Deathmatch, where the player who get most points each round get to add a new block in the chain.. The game could be anything but need to be embedded in another blockchain i think.. But this way people can make new innvoative solutions how to get better in a game, and really learn and compete with their brains to figure this out, instead of using Asics or staking that need no more than to be plugged to internet to do the work..
The game could be anything, a quiz, whatever.. The question remains would it be possible? I think if someone makes that it will get a lot of audience! And it would be a real gamers(or whatever you should solve) currency!
