4841  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: April 07, 2021, 12:57:16 PM
First, to be clear, I have nothing to do with the Kickico project. As many others just receive an airdrop from there and because of that I heard about them. I’m not interested in him, nor have I researched much of it, I'm just pointing out that their promotion (not the whole project because I don't know anything more about them ) is completely legitimate for now.

Maybe they are not pyramid scheme in strict sense, but they certainly used pyramid scheme marketing techniques. I mean, I don't know about any legit exchange that has referral system with 10 levels of depth. Whats even more dodgy is how they presented the possibilities of passive income via referral system.

they plan to make a profit from traders fee, which is completely legitimate and all exchanges do that. How much referral level they plan to have doesn't really matter. Of course, they will say "get free $5" not "spend $10 on tx's fee to get free $5" or "you will be paid up to xx level of referral, although it will only be dust".
Usually, all promotions and free money are looking for something in return but this is only mentioned at the end. As long as they really pay off with money that came from real income, not taken from investors, this promotion is legal.

Something completely different is the question of whether it is really worth it. I see on freebitco.in the faucet, usually claim is 1 satoshi. Whether they are fraudsters if advertised "get free Bitcoin..." although we know that it is almost an impossible mission to raise the required amount for withdrawing.

No wonder that current price is around ~1 satoshi and even that is too much for this shitcoin. I wonder if anyone managed to successfully unlock those 888,888 airdropped tokens.

as I stated in a previous post, unlocking airdropped tokens will be possible only when using his exchange to cover 50% of the trading fee. There I can't see any problem, for example, Binance offering -50% of the fee if you pay it with a BNB token. this is a very similar thing.
4842  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: April 07, 2021, 10:17:25 AM
It's a pyramid scheme. They are forcing users to trade in their exchange to get their referral reward and that's how they earn money.

Nope, this is not pyramidal schemes. Just a way of promoting his exchange. They will give you some rewards in exchange for using their platform and if they actually pay the promised reward there is nothing shady. the other thing is that it is a very small amount and the high fee will probably eat all of the earnings.
it certainly doesn't pay to do the whole procedure because of the potential $5 profit.

Here is a statement about claiming 888,888 Kickico airdrop https://support.kickex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012199739-Unlock-conditions-and-FrozenDrop-details

Quote
Brief instructions to unlock the frozen tokens:
1) You get FrozenDrop (888,888 frozen KickTokens) to your ETH wallet.
2) Register in the KickEX exchange and trade there. With trade volume, you accumulate a commission. For example, with a commission of $1, you can unfreeze KickTokens for $0,5.
3) Tokens are unlocked now. You can sell these unfrozen tokens, cover future commissions partly or up to 100% for trading on the exchange, or spend in the Kick Ecosystem.

you can basically use those tokens to cover the fee when trade on his platform. that's all. He just trying to attract traders to use their exchange.

all this does not seem at all interesting or tempting to me at all but I can't see any fraud there for now. Of course, we need to wait to see how everything will work and whether it is really as they promise.
4843  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: April 07, 2021, 09:53:56 AM
Their activity on Twitter stopped on 3rd April 2021. Are we finally heading for the end game where the exit strategy is pulled at unnamed.exchange?

I still think we are some time away from their total collapse because they need to maximise their income from mass scamming otherwise they would have gone all this drama for no reason or very little gain.

here they began to allow withdrawal, but only seemingly and raise new insolence to a higher level.

I confirm this is a scam exchange, 2 withdrawals finally done and both are completed with hash id but there is no tx inside and the coins did not arrived

4844  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cex.io Spam Alert! on: April 06, 2021, 09:46:34 PM
the order book is being intervened.

My order of 16 satoshi is making the first purchase. (16K BTT)

My open order is 1.055K BTT. I have 1039 K more to buy.
My order continues to stay open. Then comes the sales of 16 satoshi.my remaining 1039K order continues. However, these sales do not come to me.

Did you try to contact them through his support page? Here on the forum (I saw they are last active yesterday), on Twitter? Any comment from his side?
Did you check your login history? Any suspicious access to your account?

Maybe you should rephrase your whole scam accusation to help members understand what exactly you are trying to say here. According to what I picked. You are accusing them of not filling your order and yet the order history shows BTT being traded at that given price.

Let me break this to you. Expect this kind of things to happen with coin that have low sat values. So at 0.00000016 BTC. There are probably so many other orders placed by different other traders. Therefore, don't expect your order to be filled immediately even if the trade history is showing trades being made at that price.

I am very interested in this case. I have been using this exchange for a long time and almost every day. Also, I hold a solid amount of funds there, so I would really find it useful to get all the details from this case to protect my portfolio on time.

By doing a little search I can see people have complained many times in this forum about the cex exchange scam activities. And it's really bad behavior if this happen by the cex own self. But before talking about that exchange better to see your login history as previously said.

did you really do research, checking all complaints and how it's finished, or just find some treads with accusations?

In the end, I will mention @CEX accounts, it will be fine if they follow this discussion.
4845  Economy / Reputation / livecoin.net invasion on: April 06, 2021, 09:26:29 PM
the influx of new accounts is noticeable who's talk about how they got a return of 50% of the captured funds on livecoin exchange.

the current owner of livecoin.net domain and using 301 redirects trying to boosts rankings of his second domain. In this case, it's oceantogames.com
Using an expired (in this case hacked) domain is the well-known SEO technique that will bring 100% traffic and SEO rank to the new website. No matter what happened with livecoin, are they scam or not, his domain has some authority, a lot of created backlinks and even if this service is dead, there is still significant traffic to that address.

Apparently, the one who manages that domain now uses it for this purpose. He creates several new accounts here and states something quite different, using the current problem with robbered funds. but without setting up direct links.
this has nothing to do with recovering funds from livecoin, it's only an indirect way of promoting another website.

For example

Hello!
I followed the instructions and I confirm I have received 50% of my assets in USDT ERC-20 2 days ago to myetherwallet address: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xba02308632b0d949388bbcf54381fe8e8ea6f850c795e49620249d4d7bfd9464

Hi. I have received 50% of my funds from Livecoin. I followed the instruction and look forward to receiving the rest

I followed the instructions of livecoin and received 50% of my assets.

Hi, just to inform that http://livecoin.net has paid me the 50% of the amount that i have on his platform and they will transfer the balance after my posts!!

mods probably can delete all of these fake posts.
4846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Livecoin.net on: April 06, 2021, 08:59:10 PM
did anyone try to open the link?
domain livecoin.net now is used like SEO tools, redirected to oceantogames.com...
it is an old SEO method and backlinks previously created for livecoin are used to bring web traffic to the second domain. All new promoters like OP, share it here and in other places, just to get new visitors to his second website.
livecoin.net now definitely was not under the control of his first owner.
4847  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Film Festival on: April 06, 2021, 08:06:41 PM
I must criticise you, your website hosting sounds terrible. everything seems very slow to me, with a very long time for the initial load. If you plan to share there more videos, I guess with high quality, it is certain that the current server will not be enough for you.
this reminded me of Vod action Bitcoin flash mob? Maybe you can help each other.
4848  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AdCrypto.net - Marketing Partner For Crypto Business(Moderators Needed) on: April 06, 2021, 07:50:32 PM
To avoid fake activity, only the selected sites/influencers will be allow to promote the campaign.
For example, Legendary members in Bircointalk, although this members could also using some bots to complete the task, but this at least can reduce many of fake promoting. And once we detected the fake activity we will ban the member and announce it in our platform and in Bitcointalk forum.

For example, how you will check social media accounts if they haven't related to the Bitcointalk account?
So, someone had a Twitter acc with 10k followers but never heard of Bitcointalk. I guess it is okay when you need to check manually one or few new accounts, but what when you have 1k new acc to verify, plus 1k new FB acc's, Instagram, Reddit...
I can imagine how much work is behind.
4849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about KICKTOKEN? on: April 06, 2021, 07:33:53 PM

What a business model  Cheesy
they distributed free tokens but if you get it, you must provide double profit to them.
is there any Information somewhere on how many frozen tokens is unlocked this way?

I think it's too early to talk about this, most likely traders have not yet made a trade. I see many people write that there is no point in this because it is necessary to trade more than the unblocked amount. But why do people think that this is the main priority, the main motivator is to attract traders who will trade and make a profit. And 888,888 tokens are just a bonus and nothing more.

Just saying, their airdrop now had much more sense. in essence, it will be more useful to cover the trading fee on his exchange and I think that's okay.
in case they make a good platform, it could attract some bigger traders who are already spending money on a daily basis on trading fee. Binance had something similar but without airdrop. If you use BNB token to pay a trading fee, up to -50% in the first year.
4850  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If crypto is banned in my country on: April 06, 2021, 07:22:09 PM
Buy how will they come to know that my relative is selling it for me in his country of residence? If I send all my crypto in one go and ask my relative to wait for some time and then sell them.
What if I declare that I am 'gifting' all my crypto holdings to my foreign resident relative.
Crypto trading, holding and mining will be banned but what if I just move them to someone else's wallet?
I don't want to break any law but I have invested all my hard earned money into crypo and I can't leave them like that.
Moving out of my country is also out of question for me. I am looking for some good solution in advance.

I never heard that any government can control its citizens if they own Bitcoin or any crypto. the only limit you can have is when using legit services like exchanges, where you need to pass KYC or strictly adhere to laws to each country.
it seems that your only option is to change the crypto directly, p2p as stated earlier.
Bitcoin network does not recognise from which country you access the wallet and or it's banned by law.
I am not sure where you are, but I think after a while, the state will surely give up on such laws, in the end, all will allow crypto it's just a question of how smart they are and how long it will take them to accept it.
Of course, for holders, it will be a little harder period.
4851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 06, 2021, 07:03:37 PM
I find this somewhere on the internet, it was interesting stats.
What do you think about Arsenal fan's happiness with their results this season? >71%
Also Man United more than 70% satisfied with team performance. have their criteria dropped so much?

4852  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cex.io Spam Alert! on: April 06, 2021, 02:30:56 PM
I'm not sure if it's correct to say "Spam alert", but I guess you want to alarm that someone trade from your account.
Did you check the activity log there? You can see if there any unknown login on your account and from which IP address it was accessed. You can find it here: https://cex.io/audit/logs when you log into your account page.
Also is your fund still untouched, and nothing was withdrawn?

Even if everything is possible, CEX.io is not a small exchange, I find it hard to believe that they do business this way.
4853  Economy / Lending / Re: The small loan to smash up the world economy on: April 05, 2021, 09:29:38 PM
It's true this place is the bottom of the pit, but it will change to celebrities, musicians, actors, ceos and world class athletes soon enough.

although you think so, you still come here and begging for money. do you see how pathetic that sounds?

I myself am an Apex, the ultimate superhuman.

I'm always surprised when someone like you had so much self-confidence, without a particular reason.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about KICKTOKEN? on: April 05, 2021, 08:01:36 PM
I don't know what this is about, I have this coin locked in my wallet and I can't do anything about it, maybe something has changed and I don't know? tell me...it seems like you need to get the moon out of the sky to unlock these coins.

Just follow the instructions issued by them. https://support.kickex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012199739-Unlock-conditions-and-FrozenDrop-details

I just found the instruction but I have no intention of unlocking my coins yet, I like to see the price to reach a new ATH then I will start experimenting based on the produres provided.

What a business model  Cheesy
they distributed free tokens but if you get it, you must provide double profit to them.
is there any Information somewhere on how many frozen tokens is unlocked this way?
4855  Economy / Lending / Re: The small loan to smash up the world economy on: April 05, 2021, 07:44:28 PM
Lend me money for Facebook adds, food and internet.

You again. don't you have any other interests than trolling here in the lending section?
yet it is interesting to me that the basic things for life are food, the internet and Facebook ads Huh

Each person has limited energy, why are you persistently wasting your energy on the same thing and it is obvious that such an approach has brought you to the bottom of the pit.
4856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 05, 2021, 07:37:41 PM
To the OP, I'm pretty sure it's best if it's a Bitcoin minimum of 60% of your portfolio, he carries the least risk.
All other alts can bring you high profit but also can be worthless in a very short time.

Bitcoin. It should be pretty obvious. Is there even any better coin with the best risk:reward ratio out there? I don't think so. Personally, I'd just lump sum buy that $4k USD into bitcoin right now and just hold it for years and years and years and let demand and the scarcity to do the magic.

When say, hold for years and years but when it's time to sell it? How long to hold?
If I am 40yeras old (for example) and holding BTC next 15 years. it is obvious that the value will be many times higher, but what to do with money with 55 years of life, I mean you can do much less with that money, right?
This is not my clear opinion, more something like a dilema.
4857  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT EXCHANGE SCAM peoples in YODA and DICE coins on: April 05, 2021, 07:26:47 PM
..

Because you never use yobit and dont understand what is going on, why would you even post about it. If you dont know what you are doing or you are just too lazy or dumb just skip the exchange. Noobs like you destroy the reputation so it is impossible to see if there are shady things going on. There is zero proof of any scams going on and where you complain i made money on those coins in zero risk spots. Just like the guy starting this topic, he cant write in a normal way and posts wrong info. And idiots react, it is like 'Dumb and dumber' here.

I use this exchange, my opinion here is based solely on personal experience with this exchange. Yes, I skip this exchange, I don't want to give them chance to scam me for one single satoshi's. Because of many true scam accusations against them, I will be very happy to warn others about this risk. This includes warning about fake protectors like you, you will defend them just to earn some money for that.

When you saying about zero proof, I think here on the forum is enough evidence already posted. But you can for example to give us proof or any real explanation about what is the purpose of any coin/token created by Yobit? does at least one of them really exist, have blockchain, contract address, anything and why not?
4858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crex24 Scam? on: April 02, 2021, 01:45:02 PM
Crex24 put my account on hold last week stopping me from withdrawing and trading (depositing still worked, bloody thieves ).

I send them my documents and they just labelled it fake and blocked my account completely.

Now I cannot even login, when I emailed them many times they just spit out the same sentence as an auto message "Your account was blocked because of the fake documents you sent us"

So all in all they found a good way to steal people's money. First block a user and force him for verification, then label the documents fake (even if they are not) and just block the user accounts and steal all of his funds.

Stay away from this shit scam site.

Why you send them your documents? KYC is not required there. Whether you may have used a VPN to access that exchange?

I must agree with Bitcoin_Arena, don't deposit much money on exchanges like this. The same thing is about giving them your personal info. They have no support or if they have it it doesn't work, it is a sufficient sign of what their concern for their users is.
4859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 02, 2021, 01:37:58 PM
This is really a smart move from Haaland's camp. I think it is with Dortmund's blessing as well, since next season he can go for only 75 mil.

It's better for everybody involved if the deal can happen this season and from what I've heard Haaland and his representatives are flying to England for talks with english's top clubs as well.

Nothing concrete so far, just preliminary talks so they can see what these clubs have to offer - both in contract and in project terms.

I have read a rumor, the #1 EPL clubs wants Haaland is Manchester United, if their representative going to UK, so MU may have better opportunity to get Haaland. But, there are several clubs wants him, Madrid and Barcelona maybe can tackle MU in deadline with better offer. Since this season still running, everything can be happens in last minutes transfer window.

if I remember correctly, MU already talked with Haaland before they joining in Dortmund. Maybe they made a deal then, some kind of pre-contract. If MU sell Pogba, they will need a superstar for marketing I guess Haaland maybe can achieve that. And for sure, they are rich and had the money for this transfer.
Barca for sure can't compete here, they have already asked players to agree to cuts salaries. But I think they are deliberately inserted into speculation of Haaland transfer, just to keep the reputation of a big club.
4860  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 02, 2021, 01:27:10 PM
Just remove those people from the DT member system. Like how Lauda left the forum, his feedback can be replaced by other.

The real solution is to stop including users who have passed away or are otherwise inactive, particularly after it becomes clear that their ratings are outdated.
I have to agree with The Pharmacist on this one. When looking at the ratings issued by TMAN and Zepher, I don't think they should be excluded due to their inactivity unless they are no longer valid of course.

here we are talking about a couple of cases. But Lauda leaves a lot of ratings, perhaps most on the forum, negative or positive no matter. Removing/ignoring her tags would apply to everyone else even those who deserved it and there are plenty of them.
How much Lauda's tags need to be replaced?
