Any idea when mymonero.com is going to start allowing logins again?  It's totally stuck.  I've been trying to log in for the better part of an hour.

I just logged in.

I wonder if the third time will be the charm.  Kinda feels like it.
4843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 29, 2016, 02:05:06 AM
Mockery schmokery.  Most of the posters in here that would do the mockery don't have the balls to make predictions like you just did even in a speculation thread. Console yourself with your edge it should be easy.

Recent updates made into pull request including long overdue quote addition from dnaleor.

Monero core devs are working hard in the chocolate factory, making us amazing crypto treats like GUI RingCT caramel truffles.

And this thread is dead.  Where is the love?    Cry

Do we need not offer tokens of appreciation simply because the forum funding system works so exceedingly well?

OK sure, any specific project that needs doing gets funded within minutes or hours.

But what about aminorex and fluffy's appreciation for fine wine and tacotime's passion for fake Canadian Mexican food?

Let's not forget smooth and Risto also need funds to hire trolls, to better vex the DashHoles.

We must get this thread moving again.  Time to give until it hurts (or at minimum tingles like peppermint soap on sensitive areas).

This is not charity, this is dividend reinvestment!

I'll start by generously providing 1 XMR to the dev fund on behalf of our dear friend TheDashGuy.   Grin

On a more solemn note, I'd like to donate 64 XMR in warptangent's name.  I wish I would've met you; I'd say hey man nice shot.

BUMP!

Ah. The necro thread awakens.  Gimme a moment.
4846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: July 18, 2016, 09:35:23 PM
Seems counterproductive to post about there being XMR apparel then show DASH and ETH images?

Haha.  That was my first thought
4847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 13, 2016, 10:22:23 PM
It seems we could be testing .0028 before resuming the slow pace, sane bull run. What are your short term projections?

You can dump >41000 XMR to 288k if you like gambling.  Some folks do.

Aaaand... somebody did.  LOL.  It will be fun to watch them race to cover the loss.

Your bullishness makes me nervous.

There are short sellers trying to take it down now.  You should be encouraged, because that means cheap now, higher later.

Yeah and someone is getting leveled there... I think someone is levelling themselves in fact.

When I made a statement about the Monero community, it wasn't a personal attack on you.

When I wrote that you are a "hypocrite", it was a factual statement because you advocated that your community can't (or shouldn't) apply censorship, yet you do in your Monero Speculation thread and besides I wasn't asking your community to censor. I rather suggested to your community you might want to tell this rabid dog to fuck off, because he continues driving your community reputation into the dirt:

THIS WAS a personal attack on me. You called ME a hypocrite.  I don't actually give a crap because it is baseless nonsense. Especially since I did not start the thread you are talking about, and have absolutely nothing to do with it's moderation.

I made a factual statement, as I already explained to you.

Look how you Monero weasels weasel. No culpability for your actions whatsoever.

Lol, now I am not only a hypocrite, but now I am a weasel.

I can call names too.  You are being an asshole.

I will feed this silliness no further. It was fun for a moment...
4850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING scammer r0ach now shilling for the Monero hoax on: June 25, 2016, 03:25:06 AM
Furthermore, moderation of a thread here is within the rules. Even you have done it. In fact you deleted one of my posts once.

It also echoes the fundamental value of free speech.

OK for some but not others?
4851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING scammer r0ach now shilling for the Monero hoax on: June 25, 2016, 03:21:51 AM
How nice everyone is friends now.  No need to worry about baseless accusations or name calling.

As if the Monero community never called me derogatory names and made baseless accusations against my reputation.
I am not the monero community.

Luckily I can take my own advice.

And I don't understand why it matters what people on the internet say... really. Every alt coin and Bitcoin itself has a bunch of cheerleaders and detractors.

It is what it is.

Nothing to get your panties in a wad over in my opinion.

I want to know specifically who in this decentralized open-source community should be responsible for controlling/censoring individuals like iCEBREAKER. I expect a direct answer to this question.

hi, if u really and honestly r a sane man (sadly after years of evaluation the 1st I would have seen from dem Monero gang),

then PLZ for the sake of ur project indirectly control and censor sirs like iCEBREAKER et al by telling them that their particular ramblings they write on Bitcointalk do no good at all and only make Monero in general look like a bunch of desperate losers

ThX

~CfA~

No.

Just no.

I have no right to try to censor anyone, and their actions on the internet are not my personal responsibility.

And frankly your suggestion means you are one of two things:

1. A troll.
2. An idiot.

I don't give a crap about trolls, and I can't help it of you are too stupid to understand that the actions of individual posters are the responsibility of those posters.

You don't like icebreaker? I suggest you take it up with him.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING scammer r0ach now shilling for the Monero hoax on: June 24, 2016, 08:28:02 PM
To be honest I would like to know where the "Monero Community" has been saying things like "it's the only alt coin worth investing in". These claims are kind of hyperbolic in my opinion. The community is made up of a fairly diverse and large amount of  people.  And not all of them are bomb throwers. But of course the bomb throwers  make the biggest splash.  But this isn't that unusual  an outcome on the Internet is it? The thread title of this post is enough to rile up some vocal fans of monero. And I don't understand why it matters what people on the internet say... really. Every alt coin and Bitcoin itself has a bunch of cheerleaders and detractors.

It is what it is.

Nothing to get your panties in a wad over in my opinion.
4855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 22, 2016, 12:10:53 AM
Personally I want dump now.
I have set a buy order which I am expecting to get filled once XMR breaks 0.002 next time.
If I am not going to get my dump, I can survive with my current holdings as well, but some more coins are always to have (right now I cannot afford to pay these prices for Moneros).

Is that why you're necro-posting on anti-monero threads?

I am working hard to selling the idea of dumping Moneros to my bid(s). Currently one bid but I can put more also.
Looks like so far I have not succeeded to convince others to sell, perhaps it is due to low level of agreesiviness.
Actually the chart is almost copy/paste from 1 year ago.

Maybe it's because your fucktardedness has become transparent to the point that you are virtually ignored?

Occam's razor and all.

I'm sorry to be crass but I find the open trolling to be loathsome.
4856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 18, 2016, 07:58:17 AM

When are you guys going to drop your fascist bully mascot?

When Monero is beaten down to 0.001? 0.0005?

iCE is a [expletive deleted], but you guys are enablers.

OK. I've dropped him.  Now what should I do? 🤔
4857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: May 12, 2016, 03:39:42 AM
How much longer???

About 40%
4858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 13, 2016, 05:55:25 PM
Selling volume is declining, we also saw some wicks indicating that buyers are still present and closely watching. I am speculating that we might see some buying pressure to 0.003-0.0033 to mess up with shorters and then retest and hopefully double bottom. However we must take into the account that daily trend is still bearish and I would treat it as such. Weekly trend is caught in the range between 0.001-0.004.

Good Analysis.
4859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 10, 2016, 08:05:11 PM

I see you here whenever Monero takes a dump, are you a big P&D whale here?

I think this coin is being dumped by the same people who develop it like FluffyPony & Othe after all Othe gets 21800 Monero alone from Fluffypony's gambling site as the biggest winner there. This is what you get when your own developers play the pump & dump like twice a year doubling their BTC stack on pure speculation hype threads like this one.

You're right! And the really amazing part is this time the whale manipulators also went to the trouble of crashing ETH, maid, doge, dash, FTC, bts, sys, rads, etc.

Its a genius move on the part of the manipulators as it makes the crash look so much more like a legitimate correction.

It must be really really expensive to make a little bit of money!
4860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 10, 2016, 05:32:44 AM

I tend to agree with this post mainly.
However as regards of botnet miners, what is exactly the bad thing about it (besides it makes it harder to mine for average Joe who has all the sympathies of us?). If I am not mistaken, botnets actually benefits the coin as the mining is more diversified as opposed to bitcoin that are mined in a large scale at "mining factories" in Iceland or China.

I did mention there are some positive (or neutral) arguments to be made for botnet's involvement in monero mining.

Is outside the scope of this thread somewhat, and my opinion is just that... My opinion.

I see botnets as a net negative for monero for multiple reasons. But the most compelling to me is the ethical angle.  Botnets herders are committing privacy violation, theft, and exploitation.  I am a "your liberty to swing your fist end at my nose" type of libertarian.  Botnet herders are unethical in my opinion.
