So if we mine this coin, will we get to see a talking burning bush? Will we get to spread plagues throughout Egypt and part the Red Sea?

This could be another good opportunity like CIRC.
Wallets with built-in trading or specialized features seem to be winners these days!
I usually do not do ICOs. But I missed the train on Circ. Maybe I'll dabble a little on this one...

Well im in. Already purchased. Will see how it goes. Will be mining and staking aswell.
And why do people complain so much? All i ever see on new coins is another scam another scam. If you think that is what it is then don't buy. Why flame the dev all the time when you don't even know if it is a scam or not. You may push people away from a legitimate coin. You don't like the coin don't buy it. No need to talk crap about emm. I have profited off of every ICO i have been a part of on Yobit. I am sure this will be the same. Hell i even profited from Satoshi Maddness.
Because the longer we go through one new altcoin after another, we learn that most of this is bullshit. Lot's of us have been there, done that. Glad you have earned a profit from some of these. It's all good if you don't get left holding the bag.

Wallet looks like an descendant of blackcoin. Dev, if you want to raise 10 BTC for your project, a little more originality could have gone into the wallet design. If I'm going to be lured into a crowdfund. I want to be bedazzled. Especially since I do not see anything new or exciting about this coin. No new algo. No new features. Looks like blackcoin, with the reward schedule changed and a few other parameters.

Every block that's mined has to be validated by peers. If it doesn't pass validation, then other miners won't build blocks on top of it. Obviously changing coinbase reward might be something that makes a block fail validation.
Thanks, that makes sense. If anyone can point me to the files that contain the code, that does this magic. I'd appreciate it.

I'm just curious, exactly what code in BTC and it's many clones, prevents someone from changing the block reward code, compile their own wallet, and mine at a higher reward? I'm probably missing something very fundamental here, but the only stupid question is one that isn't asked.

83 x 500 000 = 41 500 000 POW supply 83 000 000 POW reward halves every 500,000 blocks, and never ends.

bones261 before you go ahead and clone this perhaps wait and see if community consensus can be meet first. As in, see if dev will step in or not for sure? Then, if no dev steps in perhaps get community backing/blessing to fork this and build a reliable team around your proposal.
Don't worry, I have a long way to go. I just did my first build on the coin I am working on and the wallet won't open. So back to square one. I'll probably have to now manually change things one by one rather than mass replace. Good news is, by the time I mastered that, maybe I'll be able to understand the code enough to actually be useful with this one instead.

just sold my AXIOM for some cash because urgent matter..
but i still believe this coin will survive this storm..new dev take this coin already?
A fork of this would be fine too. Well, I was working on trying to fork this coin, but there are a lot of barriers. First of all, there appears to be some leftover junk. For example, the icons folder still has unused blackcoin icons in it. Also, I am unsure if the stuff in the contrib file is even usable. Stuff still refers to blackcoin. Second, when I try to compile a daemon (not the qt), for Axiom, I get a fatal error. Like a file is missing or something. I guess a daemon would not be necessary since the qt seems to compile OK for Axiom. Oh well, I am probably not the best candidate to fork this coin anyway. It would be copy and paste with only a few modifications. Plus, this would be my first go at it, so I would probably screw it up royal. I'll keep trying though, since this is a great learning experience. I'll probably keep the fork private though, since I'm far from ready for the big time.

Hey, Spots
Block chain is moving, still no coins deposited in my new wallet yet.
Peace, Dennis
same here, height is 1684, but no coins showed up Me too, no coins and now on block 2473.

Does this use the older POS system, that goes by actual time the coins are in your wallet? If it uses the newer POS, this is going freeze at block 10,001. The newer POS systems uses the number of blocks to calculate the coin maturity. No coins will be mature at block 10,001...

I would be highly skeptical of any claims about eliminating GPU mining for this coin. That was the initial claim when the coin was launched and that proved to be false. You can have a dev change the code but someone will still make a GPU miner for it. That's a fact. Besides, what's the point of making it non-GPU at this point anyway?
Because there will be a second higher reward distribution period coming up in about a month and a half.

If axiomcryptocurrency responds and agrees I will give 10000 Axiom. But maybe there is development happening that he will let us know about. We shall see
Thanks for your support. I pledge 2000 coins if this looks like it is going to be a go.

why does staking take 12-20% cpu load? I'm using the "expiremental" wallet that was released not long ago. i7-5930k
I have the normal wallet and axiom is only using 1-10% tops. I have an i5-3450.

Spots doesn't care for Yobit.

So sorry my all friends, I'm out of town for while what is this is it the same as GorillaBucks? and why my GorillaBucks Wallet connection is offline now, am I missing something? GorillaBucks was killed by a group of people who made a hacked wallet. The wallets would stake almost exclusively and would not pay to masternodes. The code has a lot of holes in it. Unfortunately, there are a lot of coins that have the same vulnerabilities as well. Be careful with any coin that has masternodes. I don't do the masternode anymore just normal staking, and according to what you say what should I do with my Bucks, or no meaning any longer? It's probably best to try to addnode to either bittrex or c-cex to try to get a connection. The move on. The coin is on life support.

Patience people. We are half way through the small rewards section. There is plenty of time to get updates yet.
It would be nice however if AXIOM can at least update the OP ( Other coins are updating theirs )
It they keep getting this error, they can always lock this thread and create a fresh one. The new thread will not look as impressive though...
