fun-casino has chosen not to address issue, so I've opened scam accusation: fun-casino.com is a ponzi scheme
4862  Economy / Scam Accusations / fun-casino.com is a ponzi scheme {update: admits they "have no btc"} on: February 16, 2017, 08:53:07 PM
I've been critical of fun-casino.com for almost a year now.  They are a soft-swiss casino that promoted themselves for a while as fully decentralized and provably fair.  They also have been trying to get players to invest by purchasing "func tokens" and pay out dividends based on their weekly profit.  They have been sharing their gross winnings/losses but have been refusing to share basic financial data like total deposits, winnings, bonuses, withdrawals etc.

In late October they announced someone had won 17 BTC, putting them in the red for several weeks (months?) before recovering.

A couple days ago, the player came forward and claimed that they still had not been paid, almost 4 months later.

Below are some of the relevant posts from their official thread.  (Some of them are from this week, some from last October)

Hello,

I am who won 17 BTC on last October.
I'd like to report here that my cashout of 17 BTC has not been completed yet.

The reason they explained is:

>The thing is that casino wallet is almost empty for now and some time can
>be required to refill it and proceed with your cashout. So you are also
>interested to bring your friends to casino Smiley.

Be careful.
They don't have enough money to pay for your winning.

I have waited patiently and have talked with them over and over so far,
but now I am disappointed with their response.
That is why I inform you guys despite being disadvantageous to me.

I'm really worried that they don't pay to me.

I will keep reporting here until my cashout is completed.

17 BTC Win At Fun Casino by BitcoinChaser

17 BTC it is a really big win, so meet BitcoinChaser article about it!

Yet another big win, once more through an Endorphina game. The lucky player was spinning at Fun Casino when the Stone Age slot game he was playing, burst with a nice 17 BTC jackpot. Lately we are seeing more and more monstrous 100+ BTC wins all over, especially on Endorphina games, but the smaller wins, ranging between 15 and 25 BTC are becoming even more common. Just imagine hitting a series of $11,000+ USD jackpots, just by playing Endorphina games at Fun Casino.

fun-casino has posted in the thread (promotional material) since this user made their claim but chosen to ignore it.

Looks like OP successfully blackmailed casino and was never interested in protecting the public - just getting paid.

Today I will be reveling  the dark underbelly of sportsbet.io and bitcasino.io.

Theses two sites hide under the mask of a legit casino and sportsbook and adding so called provable fair games.

While nothing could be the farther from the truth.

These 2 websites are run by the same group and interchangeable .

They use many unethical , criminal and , underhanded scam tactics . I want to show some of these today.

I will start with the so called provable fair games . These are split into two games baccarat and blackjack.

I have played over 100,000 hands of both and have been a long time vip member of this site, not some newbie that has made some small deposit of 1 btc and called scam.

The two games are done under the company onetouch.io , which is a sub part of coin gaming the parent company of bitcasino.io and sportbet.io

They claim these games are fair and there verification site is https://onetouch.io/provablyfair/verification . The same company that says its fair is the company that makes the game.

Now if you click on verify the game it will go to https://onetouch.io/provablyfair/verification plus some cookie script.

They will do a hard cookie that auto verifies the hand. If you take the cookie part of the link and just open it normal it will follow based on your ip and the cookie that was hard coded on your computer when you opened it.

If you independently  verify many of the hands they dont verify. They alter the hands and when you have won some.

You win some and then you loose 10 plus hands in a row while this might happen sometimes normally but it follows a pattern over many thousands of hands . If you talked to the support they will say oh you where unlucky and use a standered reply of we a licensed and tested. The company that tests those two games are the same company that directly profits and licence of cuarcao is suspect in many ways.

The other games they use are betsoft which are known scammer games.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1531232.0

http://www.legitgamblingsites.com/blog/betsoft-scam-alert/
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/betsoft-gaming-ltd/nationwide/betsoft-gaming-ltd-betsoft-gaming-betsoft-buying-casino-software-scam-canada-nationwide-395676

and there is hundreds more.

They run both betsoft table games and slots.

Now lets get into the payouts.

If you happen to win which is very unlikely they will payout sometimes.

There has many complaints recently about this .

But something else that is very unethical and is another way to hold your money is that they require 6 confirmations for a withdrawl.

This is so they can hold your money longer and try to get you to play there highly rigged games.

This is way more then any other casino. Any legit casino requires 1 confirmation and sometimes very large one such as 50btc might be 3.

Now i would like to go into there support.

They have some of the worst live support ever.

They do not want to be helpful if anything they want to hinder you.

They never help they will try to delay and give you standard boiler plate reply's.

Some of the vip support will try to help but there hands are tied by mangement.

They also manipulate the lines of there sportbets live.

They will change quickly and will also offer lines other then normal sportsbook to trick people.

There has been  many other personal things that happened but i will stick to how there trying to take from everyone.

I hope this helps some people out there

Everyone should avoid any casino that continues to offer Betsoft games, or at the very least approach with caution.

That being said, I don't see any evidence of your other claims.

How do you know you've played over 100k hands each of BJ and Bacarrat?

Show some data that can be analyzed if you don't want to come off as a ranting degen.

After a little research, I suspect OP is using this forum as a way to blackmail casino into paying him.  (He's posting it all over the place.)

This isn't the first time he's opened scam accusation against them, only to delete it and post nice things about them a few days later.

OP just post facts.

What new addition would you like to see added to Betcoin?

I would like to see more transparency from Betcoin management.  For example: the results of the independent audit of Betsoft (or an explanation of why the audit never happened) as well as the relationship between Betsoft and Betcoin, both of which were promised by Betcoin Jessica and Andrew last July.

A response to the accusations made in this post would be excellent.

So if you like Endorphina games, or are a fan of any other slot that Fun Casino offers, make your move and take your chances on that golden spin, the one that will rule them all and will enshrine your name in the jackpot hall of fame.

For its part, Fun Casino is happy to announce that the first part of the cash out for the 17 BTC jackpot went through immediately. Fun is known as a very reliable brand that will let you enjoy the fruit of your winnings, whether it is the next 17 BTC jackpot or one of those huge 100+ BTC wins that are increasingly becoming the rule. It is even possible that a 100+ BTC jackpot will follow this 17 BTC win on Endorphina’s Stone Age, so keep that in mind.

Follow the jackpot trail all the way to the win with Fun Casino and Endorphina. You can be the next winner, and we will be as thrilled to announce it as Fun will be happy to pay it out. Go ahead and start spinning until you spin Fun Casino back into the Stone Age with one of those monster wins!

Guess I'll remind everyone what OgNasty said before becoming sig campaign manager for a gambling site on this forum and also bitcoin.com's forums:

I have made my comments about signature campaigns publicly known.  I'm not going to go back searching through threads to try and find my comments or waste any more time explaining why giving a user negative feedback for who won their auction is ridiculous, or waste my time pointing out that they bought my signature and anyone is welcome to do so.  If you choose who is trustworthy by who spends the most on advertising, you have a long hard life ahead of you.  Take some responsibility and let other people be responsible for who they choose to gamble with.  I couldn't care less. As far as I'm concerned all gambling sites are scams that prey on people's addictions. Trying to say that I deserve negative feedback because of which scam won my auction is once again ridiculous.

I've been extremely vocal that I think signature campaigns are evil.  I've done everything I can to bring a stop to them.  I've even made proposals to limit them to extremes.  I also think that gambling is evil and do not support or condone it in any way, nor do I participate.

We are all adults here.  Everyone knows it is a paid signature.  Easy for you to say to give the money back, but unless you want to put your money where your mouth is, please spare me the lectures.

I don't know how this stuff works, but found this list as one of their top linked sources:

http://ip-173-201-142-193.ip.secureserver.net/Alexa/Alexa_28.html

pretty close on the list...

141908   betsoftgaming.com
142221   betcoin.ag

They don't have connection but both are not paying jackpot. Betsoft is a casino game supplier which offers various casino games to all sites. Betcoin is just a site.
How do you know that they have no relation? Only an insider could know.

Quote
I hereby confirm that I have effectively cooperated and reached an agreement with Betcoin.ag and Betsoft in relation to a dispute over a jackpot payout.
Even the jackpot "settlement" states an agreement with Betsoft, even though betcoin.ag is solely the contract partner if you play slots at betcoin.ag.

And why do betcoin.ag persist to offer Betsoft scam gaming software, even after Betsoft allegedly did not pay? I mean almost everyone would quit after this desaster, wouldn't they?

In addition, the army of 70 promoters here on bitcointalk, while they have a very low poker traffic compared. This does not really look like a standalone site.

There are a lot of things indicating that they are connected...

Betsoft should be built and found before betcoin, casino game suppliers like betsoft do not need to operate a casino, many casinos(min 30, or 50, or 100?) implement betsoft games, which they can easily profit 100-1000 BTC per month(suppliers usually charge 10%-20% of net profit), they don't need to run a new site like betcoin, you also said betcoin is losing money. Why they run a casino with monthly losses?

Betsoft definitely came way before Betcoin.

But why wouldn't they operate casinos on their own?  Just because they don't need to?

They also don't need to be super non-transparent and refuse to ever communicate directly with players in any way.

There's a lot of evidence that suggests the same people are behind Betsoft and Betcoin.  Not sure if the Alexa thing is a clue or not though.

In addition to the way they (attempted) to cover up the Betsoft Jackpot (Betcoin blamed Betsoft, Betsoft remained silent) there's this poker connection also: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1616152.msg16798099#msg16798099

Hi Beefheart, I am informed this ticket was responded to and for the record the 2 chips you reference are paid into the poker balance which is separate from the main balance immediately when released.  This is why you do not see it in your main balance.  Thank you.

If a player has to wait more than a day or two for a response you should really just apologize.  The amount of chips doesn't excuse it and so when you try to shame him by posting it, you just show a lack of respect/understanding the concept of player privacy.

Hi Beefheart,

Your account has been credited.

We're very sorry for the miscommunication and assure you steps are being taken prevent something like this happening again.
