Well I am at a total loss why my Jupiter does not get above 410Gh/s. (380 at BTC Guild)

Tried every firmware, tried the Enable cores patch and still the same.

Look at the results from bertmod, I have 1 Asic #4 showing (192 Cores all on hashing at 130Gh/s)

The other 3 Asics (# 0 , 2 , 3)

#0=80.58Gh's , #2=93.36Gh/s , #3=88Gh/s

The DC/DC are all showing 4 on and ok apart from Aisc #3 only showing 3 DC/DC on and ok , no other found.

Temps are as Follows

HW status:

ASIC slot #1: 53.5 ℃
ASIC slot #2: -
ASIC slot #3: 54.0 ℃
ASIC slot #4: 61.0 ℃
ASIC slot #5: 58.5 ℃
ASIC slot #6: -

Thought this was to be plug and play, I have spend Hours upon Hours trying to nurse this Lemon back into life.

Got in Mining on the Day it arrived Wednesday the 16th at 14:00 (UK time), Mining via BTC-Guild I have the grand total of :-

2.25 BTC's

Any Suggestions on what KNC should be offering to do when I call them again tomorrow.

Temps are rather high. Tried additional cooling? Cool down the bbb as well as the vrms etc.

Not sure if anyone has seen this or I'm late.

EnableCores (Use this patch to force all cores to enable at next reboot)

https://www.kncminer.com/pages/support

According to Bertmod, it enabled 1 last core on my Sat so all my cores are 100% working.

thx! didnt know.

true, use those F14's for something!
I did try to use them in front of the heatsinks briefly since they were bigger and suppose to be higher CFM but were terrible..  I guess without the shroud, or the smaller ones just have better pressure in the right targeted area

here's the pics for the intake switch!

Whats your power source for all those extra-fans?

Do you plug them onto the beagle or do you have some extra fan-controller?

I can't believe the network hash rate....I new it was going to explode...but more than double?

I made a thread to help people predict this.  Said 6 to 8 PH/s by end of the year.   Honestly I think now it will be closer to 8 to 10 PH/s.  By mid 2014 we probably are looking at 15 PH/s+  if ASIC companies serious cut prices (say <$2 per GH/s delivery in 30 days or less) we could see more than 20 PH/s.   I don't think 30-40 PH/s by end of 2014 is that conservative.   Worst case scenario we way overshoot and end up 50-80 PH/s and new sales flatline for a while.

So you assume a remarkably slower monthly growth in the coming year?

Lets say end of 2013 = 10 Ph and June 2014 = 16 PH

That would lead to a monthly growth of 8% in the first half.

Lol, we should have paid attention to the signs, Wink

Nice, you just prove you are a hypocrite by posting this photo and implying KNC is like BFL and Avalon after you condemning me (in your very last post before the photo) for showing how KNC 1-2 weeks delay with 20+ % extra hash rate has set a new gold standard compare to Avalon's 3+ months delay with zero communication and BFL over-communicating and attacking their customers with their 9-12 months delay.  So once again, why do you think KNC is even approaching the same level as BFL or Avalon?  They had a news release just 4 days ago.  In the meantime what do you think they should be doing?  Do you prefer them hiding out in a cave for 3 months like Yifu or hiring Josh to bash and belittle you the customer to prove that you are right in showing this photo and for proving they are almost as bad as BFL and Avalon?

It was a joke man lighten up a bit, especially in a thread so serious and understandably so, every now and then you need a little levity.

Just an Update: Knc did get my order mixed up with a later order somehow, as I was a day 1 2xx order and to there credit they owned up to it and offered  10 btc or a refund, which I definitely respect  which we never would have heard from those other companies, I just hope they get it right for everyone as I do believe they had the best intentions and this response proves just that, to me anyways.

###

exactly! i have several orders already delivered and some others that are still open. as far as i can tell they are truely integer and are trying their best.
nevertheless they for sure were not perfectly perparared and have to learn how customer communication is rightly done.

4893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats stopping the worlds richest from buying all the coins? on: October 13, 2013, 08:43:14 PM
Why would they want BitCoins?

If their value will increase like everyone thinks, why wouldn't they? To get more wealthy

You have not the slightest clue about Gates or Buffet, do you?

Maybe you would be still wanting more and more when you got billions but those two obv dont. And its very reasonable.

In fact Gates and Buffet are donating over 95% of their wealth for charitable trusts. Why should they always want more and more? Money stops being important once you pass an certain amount or do you really think that its tripple the fun to have three Ferraris instead of one?

I am pretty convinced that those two like Bitcoins.

by about 20 gh/s, yes, and dropped temps 10 degrees Celcius

ok, i guess thats worth it.

i am kind of cautious to let it run24/7
I stood the miner on-end & set the fan right next to it...
I've actually built a case/cabinet to house all 3 saturns... no case fans... the saturn i have now has no case fans in it, they were a restriction, lol... I'll be stacking all 3 sats one on top of eachother, screwing them together, (no case tops) and the boxfan will be a giant case fan... I'll post pics of it whenever the other two sats come

sounds interesting!

Hi,

is it safe to put some vent like this one on top of the rig and let it run 24/7?

does bermod 0.2.1 work with fw 0.95??

Yes, in chrome you need to do a ctrl refresh once you hit check status or it appears to loop. If it doesn't load the full page keep doing ctrl+refresh and it'll pull the data once its finishes polling all the asics.

thx
