Do what? Mods can only handle reports in the sections they cover. I already handled the ones I can.

Would it not be worth giving some trusted users the ability to automatically remove the last X number of posts and suspend an account if they come across a user on a spamming run?

If they abuse it they risk getting banned themselves, but it could be worthwhile to have additional eyes-on with the ability to actually stop it in its tracks. It does appear to be something of an issue recently.

Well I think more active global mods should be added, but I don't think we should give out banning powers to non-mods, but if they deserved that privileged then they should just be made staff anyway.

I see. Any idea when mods in charge of other sections might come online?

No. Mods come and go at their own leisure.

You can just use the report to mod button on every post.
4924  Other / Meta / Re: Verifying be old posted bitcoin address on: August 10, 2015, 01:45:06 PM
Proving you own the account by signing an address from a new or recent post is worthless, that's why people ask for an old address from an unedited post.
4925  Other / Meta / Re: Why SantoshiNakamonto is banned? on: August 10, 2015, 01:16:16 PM
I'm not sure whether you're a silly troll or a fantasist scammer but either way you should be banned for numerous reasons.

Handling what I can but it's a losing battle until he can be banned by a global/admin as they can make new posts faster than I can delete them (and only the ones in subs I cover).

I sent 0.001 btc to an btc address from my Blockchain wallet for which they deducted 0.0004 btc as fee Sad
Should I switch to another wallet?

If you go to custom send you can choose what fee to pay or none at all (though your transaction may take a long time to confirm or even not at all).
Will unconfirmed transaction be returned to my wallet or will I lose it forever?

It will be returned. You wouldn't ever lose it.

If someone made a habbit of reporting the same posts over and over it'd be noticed and we'd know something was up.
4931  Other / Meta / Re: Stop this user asmal (forum id: 405523) - He is spreading malware on: August 09, 2015, 04:59:23 PM
I'm doing the ones I can now but takes quite a long time.  There is usually a lack of mods on the weekends though.
4932  Other / Meta / Re: User creating massive amounts of referral spam - Marcy on: August 08, 2015, 05:43:46 PM
Handled the ones I could. Nearly 200 reports I think. Wish there was a way to just checkbox all the posts and delete them all at once.

heres an idea, cant they just ban the word fastminer on here?

It can be added to a blacklist, though once they find out they'll likely change it or cloak it to get around the block.

Handled ones I could. Think I handled over 100+ reports on this user alone.

One factor that makes litecoin lower in value compared to bitcoin is that there are only a total of 21 million bitcoins available while litecoin can reach up to 84 million based on its mining algorithms. With this, some analysts believe that litecoin can offer a psychological advantage to bitcoin, as consumers often prefer to have transactions in whole units instead of fractions. Litecoin also enjoys a faster speed of transaction compared to bitcoin, as the former takes only 2.5 minutes while the latter needs 9 minutes. But at the end of the day Bitcoin is much better than Litecoin since the number of crowd who use Bitcoin is greater. And cryptocurrencies live only because of the population who used it, if the population drops the currency will drop. But with Bitcoin as the founder of all the currencies, the integrity and stability is much stronger than litecoin. It earn the trust of lots people and it will surely live longer.  It can still be a future currency of the world, and many believe of that.

That's a very good question. But this depends a lot on how you handle your wallet. If you are careful about it and make sure you have an off-site backup of your wallet (or use a deterministic or paper wallet, etc) then you can easily pass your wallet and all the coins it contains to anyone you choose in the same ways that you can pass on other property. Of course if you're the only person with access to the wallet and have not planned anything then yes, your bitcoins will be "lost in the network."

A day ago I was thinking if bitcoin is a currency or a technology since it's a tech stock.  Now, for the uninitiated, Bitcoin is supposed to be the online currency that will free us from state-backed ones. It's a cryptographically-sophisticated virtual currency you can use to buy real things over peer-to-peer networks without leaving a trace in the real world. The idea is to create money that central banks can't debase and governments can't tax. In other words, digital gold. Actually, make that anonymous digital gold.

I think it should be removed. Hopefully it will in the new forum. Don't really think it's necessary for non-admins to see email addresses.
