4921  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-20]U.S. Senate Confirms Bitcoin Supporter Mick Mulvaney As Trump’s on: February 20, 2017, 09:50:10 AM
This is good news for the bitcoin initiate in the White House.
Now he can whisper sweet nothings into Trumps ear while he is sleeping so he actually can say he hear of bitcoin.
 Cheesy
This is very interesting as mulvaney who has seen how bitcoin solved problem of low income owners is now the now the head of budget. The only way to resolve monetary policy that cursed the gap between the rich and the poor in our society. United States of America decision on bitcoin can make or destroy crypto currencies in general. I wish bitcoin should trade above $10,000 before trump administration come to an end.

I hope they will come up with a good way to do it. Closing the gap between the rich and the poor was attempted long ago, by the communists and look how it worked out.
Equality is a dream we've been chasing for a long time and will probably end up chasing till the rest of our lives. Also, don't get your hopes up for Trump, he has more important stuff to worry about than Bitcoin.
4922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any available bot for cloud mining on: February 20, 2017, 09:38:38 AM
Don't waste time on faucets OP. You will never earn anything. It may seem like you're adding another 0.000001 with every click and the sum is growing, but whatever you do you'll not end up earning more than $1 a day. Just do the math and you'll see faucets there only to test the payments not earn a profit.
4923  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: February 20, 2017, 09:30:34 AM
The war will coming, we should prepare for it.
Don't preach.
There were always wars divided by periods of peace, but the world has changed. We have the most powerful weapons, capable of destroying our planet and we know it. The attitude towards war is different. It changed in the last 20 years and we probably won't see another world war in our lives. During the cold war we were very close and nothing happened, so don't worry too much.
4924  Economy / Services / Re: 0.01btc/24 hours ✪Signature Campaign✪ [goodDice.us] ➽ traditional dice game on: February 20, 2017, 09:20:31 AM
You may get people if you remove the 0.01 deposit requirement and use escrow or pay directly to people's address

Why don't you say:" Give me money then I will trust you"?

PS: we do pay directly to people's address.
You don't get the simplest facts, one of them being that when you want to hire someone to do a job you have to provide the funds not him.
You want people to wear signatures, you need to pay them, not expect them to send you money first. With such attitude you not only won't get people to advertise but will probably run your business into the ground.
4925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the Bitcoin Network if a World war Starts? on: February 19, 2017, 08:08:23 PM
I'm starting to get very worried about the state of international relations. Trump is a potential threat to world peace, and growing tensions with China and other countries are becoming a real threat.

So, if a World war starts, there are all sorts of scenarios we can consider, but what do you guys think it could happen to Bitcoin?

Nothing. Bitcoin don't care.
Honey badger approves!
If a world war start it's possible we won't have running water, medicine, internet access and many other things. You won't have time to think about Bitcoin, but it doesn't mean it won't survive. When we go back to peace people will remind themselves about investments.
4926  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should I start mining? on: February 19, 2017, 07:59:49 PM
And I would have free energy/only mine on free energy time and have a lot of space to store a lot of miner hardware.

This is actually a big difference. If you choose to do it only when you have free power and that's 12h a day you'll going to have to wait for roi twice longer.  philipma1957 said you could make 3000 a year with his setup. If you don't use free power 24/7 you can cut that in half. Also with Bitcoin time is money. If you give your miners too much idle time the difficulty will rise and your window will start closing.
4927  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining still profitable? on: February 19, 2017, 07:51:45 PM
What people usually forget is that they will need to run the miner for at least a year 24/7 for it to pay for itself. The equipment may get damaged in the process and with mining companies there's no warranty. If you have a fire in the house or someone breaks in and steals it you're done. There also other options like kids, animals, lightning, or just simple component failure. You could say these things are rare, but you aren't running one miner. Chances are one of them will fail and it will extend your ROI time by a couple months.
4928  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: February 19, 2017, 07:27:05 PM
I think every commodity that is considered luxurious like gold, jewels, computers would go down in price. People tend not to care about stuff like investments when bombs are falling on their heads.
Also in every world war there were countries that stayed outside of the conflict. It's possible bitcoin would thrive there.
4929  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB Sr. Account on: February 18, 2017, 06:04:12 AM
There's a section dedicated to account sales on this forum, with many offers to choose from (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=234.0), but I'd advise you not to buy one and level up yourself.
If you're caught you can get negative trust on your newly bought account.
4930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: February 18, 2017, 05:50:05 AM
Saving bitcoin is like an investment and it also like saving of fiat in the bank because of the interest gaining for the period of time you put your money in the bank and bitcoin is much better now because of continuous increasing of its value.
true, saving bitcoin will be the same with investing. so when you save bitcoin make sure that you always do the checking to the market price, so when the price is high you can convert it to a fiat and save bitcoin will become profitable
Saving, unlike investing offers much smaller risk. When you invest there's a chance a company will disappear with your money or go bankrupt. There's no such problem when your money are sitting safely in your offline wallet. Also, saving gives you control over your assets, while investment will usually take time to cash out. Some companies offer no early returns, so you get your money frozen for a year or more.
4931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I Trust Hashflare.io ? on: February 18, 2017, 05:44:47 AM
Every company that offers lifetime contracts is a scam in my opinion. There's no way they will continue to operate for the next 50 years, and if you digest this information you'll come to a conclusion that it's a bait. A lie to attract more customers that will buy this crap that they will keep paying them for another 20 or 30 years after ROI.
4932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump vs. the US Mainstream Media - Vote your opinion! on: February 18, 2017, 05:39:42 AM
why not open vote in this thread, but iam not US people, so i want not vote
I'm also not a US citizen, so I won't vote, but I think the media are doing a good job trying to show him in a bad light. He is just beginning his presidency and there's so much negativity already.
I haven't seen that with any other president in the past.
4933  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solar Mining on: February 17, 2017, 11:32:33 AM
Guys, you are getting nowhere with this. Solar panels are worth it only if you get a lot of sun hours per day. For instance in Arizona there's plenty of sun, but the more North you go the worse it gets for the panels.

Map: expected number of full sun-hours you can expect in different locations. 1 sun-hour equals 1 kWh per square meter per day
4934  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can companies that produce mining equipment use devices? on: February 17, 2017, 11:21:42 AM
They can do it and they are doing it. KNC were accused of such mining in the past. I also think BFL, which was a scam on many levels, also purposely delayed shipping to mine for themselves.
This is a great way to make money if you don't care about the company's reputation, but are entering the market for a quick buck.
4935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: February 17, 2017, 11:17:38 AM
I like alcohol and never had any problems with overdosing. A beer in the evening is great for you, helps relax after a busy day, has some nutritional values, is good for your kidneys, and of course tastes great!
Wine is good for your heart and strong alcohols have various medical uses. Like some posters have already mention, it's good in moderation.
4936  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can I spot Ponzi schemes? on: February 17, 2017, 11:04:49 AM
Always read their TOS! This is one of the easiest ways. What to look for?
Promises of lifetime contracts
Unreal rates (300% in a year)
Statements like "we guarantee profit"
Promises of buying back your contracts at high rates
Very high referral bonuses
4937  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Viable in 2017? on: February 17, 2017, 10:59:54 AM

i think genesis mining is still legit, but the ROI need almost a year before you can get your investment back. the only problem with cloud mining is the long time for ROI and the chance to get scam. but if you can find the legit site, i think it still profitable.

its good idea to invest in every month to buy GHS but how long you want to do this?

Could you please stop spreading false info? To get ROI with them you'll need much more than a year, people are getting barely half of their money back in a year!
No, it's not a good idea to invest.

Quote
before you make decision, i hope you can thinking about the longest ROI you can get with genesis mining, but that site is still legit.
Think of the longest ROI and multiply by 2 Cheesy Also, you won't be getting any profits from this, they will take care of that. Even if you ever get ROI it will only mean getting your money back but you haven't invested to get money back! You did it to profit!
4938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 14, 2017, 06:56:24 PM
You can't win using martingale in the long run. It may seem to work in the beginning, but eventually you will lose. It's not worth it, works only if you do it to hit a small win and withdraw.
Try it out with a very small amount of money in a dice game. You can go on for hours and feel like you're winning, but then you will hit a losing streak of something like 15 losses in a row and end up with nothing.
4939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Account Prices? on: February 14, 2017, 06:50:49 PM
I guess you're right most of the buyers in the account of bitcointalk was a scammer, but I'm not saying all buyers only majority of them. I think selling your account here in the forum thread is quite not formal. The worst is even you sold your account you are no longer liable in it. But your name can be use for bad or legal. I guess it will not be use for bad, or else your name and reputation in this forum will be damage at all even you're not doing any bad things in real life.
What are you talking about? Where did you get these statistics from? I'd say most of the buyers were people who wanted to join signature campaigns. I have no idea what you're trying to say, this is one of the shittiest posts I've seen in a long time.

But your name can be use for bad or legal.
WTF does that mean? What name? Forum nickname? I don't think that someone with something like 0312 in his name should be worried about it being used for whatever reason.
4940  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can terrorism be stopped on: February 14, 2017, 06:40:44 PM
I think it will be too hard to stop them, how can you stop people that are hiding before striking?
It's easier than you think. Ninjas were stopped, right? The IRA was mostly stopped too. Now how did that happen? They were hiding before striking as well!
Times change, sometimes it's no longer worth fighting for something that stupid. IMO countries that fear terrorism should tighten their border security. The muslim terrorists who struck in Europe weren't born there. They also procured automatic weapons and explosives somehow.
