4922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which is the good site to get wallet? on: August 04, 2014, 08:24:58 PM
Check out the info here:

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

I would start with a full node like "bitcoin core". It takes a lot of memory and space, but offers the highest level of control over your coins. Until you understand bitcoin you may want to avoid any kind of shared wallet. Those online systems are only as good as the website operators. If they are incompetent or criminal minded, your coins could be taken and there is nothing anyone can do to get them back.

Keep it simple.
4923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hey I'm addicted to gambling what else can I do?? on: August 04, 2014, 08:11:44 PM
Make a huge bet with yourself that you will never gamble again. With that hedge, you can't lose.

Look carefully at these aboriginal drawings.

I would spend it on projects to advance the bitcoin economy. Things like seed money to create more "bitcoin boulevards". Clusters of businesses that take bitcoin at their physical stores. I might also use it on publicity stunts that will draw media attention to bitcoin. Another idea that might make sense to start a legal defense fund to aid bitcoin peers who are wrongly prosecuted. Like the poor guys being arrested as money transmitters.  Lastly, I am working on a trip to the mid-east and will be meeting with some peers there. If I had a good project there, I might spend some money to make it real.

How's the P380 -- reasonably accurate?

I have only put 50Rnds. through it so far but it is very accurate for a micro pistol. I was getting about a 2 MOA at 50 ft. So I could hit a cantaloupe at that distance. It has a Walther match barrel, which is one of the main differences between it and the CW380.
I was not sure I would like the laser sight, but I do. I have it zeroed for about 30ft. I also had two failure to feed issues in the first 25 shots. That does not worry me. It has a 200 round Break-in period and the springs seem really stiff yet.

Oh, and thanks at ruggedman_dan

If your life is not in order, the last thing you need is debt.
4929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible reasons for why the Bitcoin price is going down on: July 31, 2014, 05:33:44 PM
I have a radical theory that supply is slightly ahead of demand. But that may be the whiskey talking.  Cheesy

True stuff kuroman .
And to be clear. I'm not defending anyone. The civilian death toll is way out of control and Israel is creating the next generation of radicals. There will be no winners in this war.
4931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CIA admits to spying on Senate staffers on: July 31, 2014, 05:11:59 PM
Maybe now something will happen. They don't seem to care at all when we are getting spied on, but a senate member... This is an outrage!!!!!!!!
Kinda like when they shut down the government for weeks because one of them got delayed at the airport. That led to the "Passenger bill of rights".
4932  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTC for sale on: July 31, 2014, 04:51:42 PM
I accept paypal as its the best payment method for buyer and seller protection. It allows chargebacks if coins not received and very easy to withdrawl money.

And you are forgetting, Paypal is easiest way to scam too, you will receive coin then after 1-2 days you will claim to reverse the transaction
and scam will be complete, that is why people here don't trade with Paypal here easily.

I would add that neither the buyer nor the seller has any fraud protection whatsoever. Bitcoin sales are a violation of PayPal's TOS and your funds may be frozen by PayPal. They will NOT help you.
4933  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israeli sniper braging about killing 13 children just today on instagram on: July 31, 2014, 04:44:37 PM
Where is the report of 13 children being sniped?
This looks a lot like propaganda. As if it's not bad enough that children are dying from heavy fire.

4934  Economy / Economics / Re: How much do you value your credit score? on: July 31, 2014, 03:48:03 PM
Good stuff Kluge! I do see the positive role of credit in the economy. My issue is more about the way it is currently pushed as a virtue to be in debt.

4937  Economy / Marketplace / Firearm purchase - report Central Texas Gun Works on: July 31, 2014, 03:30:17 PM
Although I have bought bulk ammo, it was not until last week that I purchased a firearm for bitcoin. I had a great customer experience and the guys at  http://centraltexasgunworks.com/ were very helpful and professional. I can highly recommend them as trusted source that can get most any weapon you want.

Here is how it went down. I browsed around their site and found that they had the gun I wanted in stock, and it was a decent price. I was unable to buy it via their website and you must call them at the moment for a bitcoin purchase. The process was simple and straight forward. I placed the order to be sent to my local FFL (It can not be shipped directly of course). They sent me an address and a total. The transaction was over and done quickly.

All the legal stuff is still required, so I had another background check and had to wait during my "cooling off period".  Roll Eyes This actually made me madder, lol. It arrived in about 5 days and I could not be happier. Here is the Kahr P380 I got. It's like a baby brother to my Kahr K9 Elite.

My FFL was so interested in what had happened that he asked me about accepting bitcoins at his store. Like Central Texas Gun Works, having a physical store is a big asset. I can assume that they will not be scammers and will be knowledgeable.

Once it is loaded with Lehigh XP Xtreme Penetrator,This will be my summer carry "special carry weapon".

RodeoX:

I don't hate PEOPLE, but Islam is an ideology and ideologies aren't beyond criticism.

Yes. I do understand. There are people, who because of their Islam, would put us both to death for our lack of faith. It's hard to like that attitude. But I have also met a lot of very peaceful and kind Muslims who interpret things differently. I hate them all if there were only one Islam. lol
4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC engagement ring? on: July 30, 2014, 03:53:33 PM
Here are two other places that take bitcoin for engagement rings. There are at least a few more, but these were well established businesses before taking BTC.
