Although I have bought bulk ammo, it was not until last week that I purchased a firearm for bitcoin. I had a great customer experience and the guys at
http://centraltexasgunworks.com/ were very helpful and professional. I can highly recommend them as trusted source that can get most any weapon you want.
Here is how it went down. I browsed around their site and found that they had the gun I wanted in stock, and it was a decent price. I was unable to buy it via their website and you must call them at the moment for a bitcoin purchase. The process was simple and straight forward. I placed the order to be sent to my local FFL (It can not be shipped directly of course). They sent me an address and a total. The transaction was over and done quickly.
All the legal stuff is still required, so I had another background check and had to wait during my "cooling off period".

This actually made me madder, lol. It arrived in about 5 days and I could not be happier. Here is the Kahr P380 I got. It's like a baby brother to my Kahr K9 Elite.

My FFL was so interested in what had happened that he asked me about accepting bitcoins at his store. Like Central Texas Gun Works, having a physical store is a big asset. I can assume that they will not be scammers and will be knowledgeable.
Once it is loaded with Lehigh XP Xtreme Penetrator,This will be my summer carry "special carry weapon".
