4921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 09, 2019, 08:44:27 AM
I busted a lot on dice and poker because i wanted to end a session with a round number. So when i was up $98 with poker and just needed to make it $100 before i stopped. Sometimes I lost that $98 to get the $ more  Angry
That's definitely because of your greediness, unless it's part of your strategy to win that amount.
Thing is, in gambling it should be played with a very precise strategy and we need to stick with it all throughout the game, if it tells you to stop, you should, so it will not ruined your momentum and you can stop at a profit, whether big or small.
4922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: August 09, 2019, 08:24:51 AM
If there was a war between China and USA and China tries to destroy the dollar and vice versa than BTC would only grow stronger as it will act as a security for both currencies.
That's the advantage of using bitcoin, and not only China will be using as this trade war if it will continue, lots of countries will also be affected.
It's like a spreading virus that will slowly destroy an economy due to the greediness of some big countries, small countries will suffer and good thing they have a good option to save their money from value devaluation.
4923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 08, 2019, 06:24:04 AM
Dont gamble when drunk and be careful with money or at least have a set budget. There is no other golden rules apart from that imo, getting overly involved in a system or a long procedural line of do and do nots is;
 A. not that fun to follow B. unlikely to help as much as strict principles in simplicity.
Maybe there's an exemption in the type of game, sometimes I feel like I want to drink when I gamble.
Usually the process is, bet on the sports I love, and then have some drink while watching the game, that way I feel more relax and entertained, I just have to avoid myself doing the live betting as I might mess up my entire bankroll.
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC Process (Sportsbook) on: August 08, 2019, 05:51:35 AM
Just a gentle reminder, we have to be careful in complying with KYC in sportsbook as just lately there's a news about Binance KYC leak, and I'm just too concern as Binance is a billion dollar exchange with a strong security but these information are still stolen, how much more in a sportsbook which has less secured than Binance.

news here https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-investigating-kyc-leak-fud-as-user-selfies-allegedly-exposed

This is scary, if you really put your legit information when you applied your KYC in a casino, for me, I would prefer to fake some information although I know the risk as I just want to enjoy gambling without linking my personal information, but for exchange, I have no choice but to put my information and I hope with that Binance bad news, my KYC pictures were not included.
4925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 08, 2019, 05:33:56 AM
Still a rumor and as long theres no official word yet on both parties then this fight would just remain unclear.Fans are really hoping to much for this rematch

but on my part it seems that they aren't really interested at all.Showing off some training footage doesn't imply nor connect on possible fights to happen.
Before only the side of Pacquiao was interested about the rematch and I think it's still there. This probably was made of some of their fans who really want to see them fight after watching the Pacquiao - Thurman match last time.
I'm not leaning and giving my hope for this kind of news, it's all a rumor yeah right. Let's take the decision and wait until there's a confirmation from any of their camp.
There's nothing fans can do but to wait for both camps to talk if there's any possibilities that this rematch will be able materialized, it's all about how the deal will be done and how both camps will accepts the offers, right now it's all about how fans is eager to see that this two boxers will bring the fight into reality, but for now it's still in both sides to make things happened though fans can influence if interest will be that huge and the amount of stakes is really undeniable especially for Floyd, Money talks for sure.
What more they want to see, the fans already showed their interest and they want this rematch to take place the soonest.
The camp of Mayweather are so smart not giving their answers yet, I'm sure they still want to spread and grow this hype so it will assure them more money when eventually it will take place, we have to remember that these people are good in business and boxing is business.
4926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: August 07, 2019, 11:24:39 PM
I dont want to convince you of anything, but I think that margin trading is very profitable. Anyway, if you're interested, you should check it out. You always need to learn something new and try new ways of earning. And no matter what your result will be, you will in any case get a good experience.
You're right mate, people could check it if they have an interest in it but we don't need to please them.
We have to know that margin trading is quite difficult to understand especially for beginners and less experienced traders that is something considerable and not all of us are able to risk their time in doing this.
4927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: August 07, 2019, 10:58:10 PM
I am trying to decipher what the future holds for eth, asides its smart contract purposes which of course bnb can offer, what else do you think will help keep eth relevant. Because I see some projects trying to migrate to binance chain, I see that it won't end well for eth as long as bnb keeps improving.
if it is possible we have lots of changes came over the ethereum the price may drop very quickly but it will not been possible very quickly because please see lot of changes in ethereum also so the possibility of waiting the ethereum is not available now
Of course, we could see market changes but what we look for BNB it seems to be far enough to take over ETH. We know a lot of investors giving their support into BNB but forget about that cause there is a massive ETH project adopter were helping it to stay unbeatable coin in the market. ETH will still take the lead even BNB keeps soaring high as I believe though.
4928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we ever have altcoin season again. on: August 07, 2019, 10:25:56 PM
That's a big question that nobody could exactly say something 100% sure rather than to have speculations. Though it looks like that where everyone seems to be hopeful and looking forward to having another big day for altcoins and even for the entire market.
We've all missing such event just like it did the last 2016-2017...
4929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving , what to expect? on: August 06, 2019, 11:26:12 PM
Currently, I expect the price to first dump or correct due to the market condition of the sentiment of buying more of bitcoin than altcoins. Towards the end of the year, the price might double, I will do myself a good by trying to hold as my purchasing power entails.
If you can make a wait before halving start again. But we really not sure of this halving that it will make a huge market jump or it will stay the same.
We know LTC isn't giving up even we have been experiencing market crisis and still been strong after all but never to expect that it will make another ATH this year rather than to stay at low.
4930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best solution to handle gambling addition, in a country. on: August 06, 2019, 10:20:14 AM
Considering the gambling addiction ratio in a country is increasing rapidly, what are the best possible solutions the citizens or government of that nation can implement to deal with the problem. Before you jump right into suggesting, the government should ban/tag gambling related activities as illegal in the country, you should understand that running away from a problem don't actually solve that problem. Beside proposing a ban on gambling only encourages the citizens of that nation to gamble illegally.

Don't ban them for christs sake. Make money out of them. They're probably used to throwing away large amounts of money anyways. Tax them higher. As professor hulk says, its a win win situation. Casinos would now have to increase fees and gamblers would have to also adjust. You can't really control people's wants and needs to gamble, so make it a little difficult and inconvenient for them with high fees. Plus you add considerable amount to your government's funds.
That would be a win-win if this people who are wasting their money has really enough money yo waste, what if majority of these gamblers are poor people?
The thing is, if the government allow a casino to operate and it's been proven it cause much addiction to people that it could destroy a family, that cannot be called a win-win, and the government has to make some action for the benefit of the majority, casinos are good as they provide entertainment but not for everyone.
4931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 06, 2019, 10:11:14 AM
Sorry for your lose mate, however, that would not ease the pain if you will not accept it and move on.
Everyone of us here are losing in gambling and has the risk to lose even more in the long run but what matters is we learn from our mistakes so we will not do it again. It's just money, you still can earn it, don't feel bad all the time because it might affect your health and you might lose your health that is your capital recover your loses in maybe other ways.
4932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 06, 2019, 05:30:25 AM
Non of these important pointers you listed will be experience by a gambler if he remains realistic.
It's imperative that every gambler has to understand the real chance of winning, which is not 50/50 in any game that is played based on luck or games that has a house edge.

Scammers are smart, they tend to victimize weak gamblers, so don't belong to the weak group of gamblers, instead be a smart gambler by continuing to educate yourself regarding the real score of risk and rewards in a certain game.
4933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 06, 2019, 05:17:20 AM
Thanks for these tips.

5. Avoid gambling when you are angry or feeling emotional about something or someone, this too affects your game. If it helps talk or see someone before you do something you will regret.

Feel free to add more to the list

I highlighted this as this is one of my problem when I'm gambling, I'm not saying all the time but there are times that I can be in this situation that I feel too emotional when I lose a decent money in gambling, can't wait to recover and instead of stopping and call it a day, I sometimes force myself to still gamble and just stop when I win back all my loses.
4934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 06, 2019, 04:56:03 AM
Never know how many times I got a win in a dice game because while I play, I visit on another website to check the other things. I only click the roll button and let it run. And no matter the result, I click the roll again and if I think it's enough for me to play, I quickly and close the tab to continue the other things. But I think if I am not wrong, I already got 4 times winning streak in a day but that is not too often to get that win.
In dice, winning by having a winning streak is not so relevant as normally gamblers would do more rolls and just place a small amount, if this happens in sports betting, maybe if we have a long winning streak, it's so significant that we can never forget it.
4935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: August 05, 2019, 10:28:31 PM
These traders are quickseller, and I guess most of them are those who dumped coins at worst. Panic seller are those who didn't want to learn how to trade safely. They're just jumping from one another coins and buy but eventually sell their assets at larger number without even holding it on several days.
They easily get distracted when there are market changes because they have a lack of trust and always thinking negative. They easily been caught into FOMO when they hear news and to know what will exactly happen to them? they'll absolutely be losing by then.

They are not the real market traders and we don't need to be bothered with them, instead will be happy since they'll give our chance to buy their coins a low price.
4936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: August 05, 2019, 10:11:22 PM
It is very hard to believe that BNB will take over the position of Ethereum, ETH has a lot of interested people and investors believe in eth, I am very unsure if BNB can take over the position of Ethereum
It is what you believe but we have to realize also how this BNB giving the best to make very competitive in the market today. What it has shown to us lately is something to prove that BNB can have the chance to take over ETH. Of course, it won't be that easy and we know ETH has already established market reputation and as well as investors trust.
4937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are USA traders saying sayonara to Binance? (The Exodus Is Here?) on: August 05, 2019, 08:57:20 AM
We are 39 days away. It's like getting an eviction notice on your apartment door.

39 days and counting.

Anyway, you guys can check Bitmart if you wanted to (and if you're fine with KYC). I heard they open their service for US customers, at least an option to check and give it a try. They're nowhere near Binance level though, and there's no market marker to provide your liquidity (or pump your token to the sky) as Binance did.

They can compete with Binance soon as they have the volume, if Binance can't make a timely action, they will loss a big portion of the market.
Every exchange that sees the opportunity will try hard to compete and I think the exchange you shared had a decent volume, so I can say traders are also trusting them.
4938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: August 04, 2019, 08:31:44 AM
I'm never using a parlay, but my friend using its. It's a good option if you only have small capital for the bet, but you got a really good prediction, the prize from parlay was really amazing. My friend successful predict more than 5 games, and he won't more than 1000% from his bet amount. The sucks thing from parlay went you only need 1 more game to be a successful predict, but shit happens coming to you and make you lose. That's was really fucked, went doing a parlay.
That kind of thing often happens for those who like to play Parlay. Sometimes in a bet there are one or two picks that lose even that has low odds and we are sure that the thing will win, it is very sad I think. In Gambling anything can happen even though what we believe is 99% win finally will lose too.
I think parlay is not for people who play it safe, if you do a parlay but the odds are still small, by playing safe like over 0.5 goals, then it's not a good thing. because the risk won't be equal to the profit you will get, at least I will parlay the odds around @5 and above, it will be better.

Parlay is best when the odds are high. If the odds are somewhere around 0.5 or even until 2, it is better to place a separate individual bet. It is definitely not worth it however huge your possible win may be with a much smaller bet. In the end you are still like giving away free money to the betting site. Parlay is for risk-takers who are somewhat certain of his bet. If you are highly uncertain of your prediction, you have to avoid parlay.

The biggest disadvantage of Parlay is that you have to win all the bets in the group and if you lose even 1 bet, you lose everything. I do not recommended this type of gambling in which the risk of losing is too much high.

That's not a disadvantage, the main rule to win in parlay is to win all your bets, otherwise, you lose.

4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake trade volumes on: August 02, 2019, 03:18:41 PM
Fake trading volumes are some of the marketing strategies used by team members of projects to lure crypto investors to invest into their project. This is a collaboration which is initiated by the team members of the project but the developers of the exchange platform are the ones that execute all this fake volumes.  I really hate exchange platforms that brings this up and most of them are really small exchanges that have just come into the cryptospace. However investors should also not invest into projects that have their coins being manipulated.
I've never think how it becomes effective to attract traders and investors as well.  Doing such thing will only be losing potential clients and the trust of the community.
It is better for them to tell the truth and never give lies. I know it is attractive to look those huge volume but somehow, hiding the truth will only ruining their reputation.
4940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trust in new crypto-trading apps? on: August 02, 2019, 12:28:51 PM
Can we trust some new crypto-trading apps or it's better to trade with good known Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex.. ets?
It's really up to you, although new exchange are riskier to use but we should not assume we will be scam.
Just limit the amount you risk, and always read the feedback regarding the exchange.
