4941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / USDT | TUSD | BUSD | USDC - What are the differences? on: February 12, 2021, 06:50:16 AM
USDT, TUSD, BUSD, and USDC are all stablecoins. They have a value that is tied with the US dollar at 1:1 ratio. Now I'm wondering what is their differences.

  • Does each of them has different purpose other than being tied to USD?
  • Do they have different features or the fees when using them is different from one another?
  • Why USDT is commonly used when trading other crypto not the others?
4942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: February 12, 2021, 03:08:49 AM
Like many bitcoiners im one of the people who didnt bought bitcoin at 6000$ or even 15k or 20k$ and i wonder if its possible to see bitcoin in at least 20k again
If no should i buy now or wait more to get lower price ?

20k per bitcoin is impossible now in my opinion because many big companies like Tesla are investing on it. The increase now is not just because of hype like way back 2017. 40k-45k price range is already a good price for me. If it goes below 40k then it would be better. The lowest it can go I think is $30k. The last big dump I remember was it went 28k where it was 30% correction from its ATH.
4943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 12, 2021, 01:06:23 AM
He may have bought it but I don't think he expects a gain from it or any possible use case in the future. It has unlimited amount of supply and for it to just reach 1$ each, the market cap should be almost a trillion if my computation is correct. Its recent increase is just hype for me. I would rather buy other altcoins with the same price but has really good use case and has the potential to grow in the future.
4944  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: February 11, 2021, 05:03:48 AM
But then, we can also divert ourselves from this repercussions by having a good mindset and doing other things like focusing on bitcoin trading, family spending, etc. There's  a lot of things to be focused on rather than being trap on a situation wherein we know that we can surpass this situation.

The problem is some people who lost their work are suffering from depression because they don't know where to get a source of income for their family. Some of them have a field of work that is not applicable remotely and they are in a country where there is a strict lockdown. What you said is impossible to do if the main issue is money.

Your surroundings or environment will affect how you will cope up with depression. If you surround yourself with optimist type of people, they can help you think properly and will give you some ideas on how to have a source of income even if at home.
4945  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: February 10, 2021, 10:41:17 AM
to be honest , i just invested all of my money into crypto on the middle of november , as we see now , everything go green , i even got 12 X ROI just for hold crypto like EGLD,INJ,CAKE,XVS, the question , where the correction , it is the party will be over soon ? or it will be bigger since as we know recently big company like TESLA even accepted bitcoin , or its just fake bull ? if yes , i cant imagine how big the correction will happen.

Just set your stop loss or take profit now if you're afraid for a big correction. And I don't think it's a fake bull just like 2017, just as you said a big company like TESLA now invested in bitcoin. This could be a catalyst for more big companies to also invest. Correction can happen but I don't expect it to be that big like what happened in 2018. The huge increase now is because more companies are looking to invest in bitcoin not just because of hype.
4946  Economy / Service Discussion / ZEBEDEE to integrate bitcoin to CS:GO on: February 10, 2021, 09:09:16 AM
In the near future, you can earn some bitcoin while playing the popular fps game called Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or what we know as CS:GO. Thanks to bitcoin startup ZEBEDEE, they will launch a CSGO server where players can earn based on their performance on the game.

Players will pay as low as 100 satoshi and depending on their KDA(kill, death, assist) ratio, they can get a share of the total prize based on their performance of the final game result. They can cashout anytime and it will be handled by the Lightning Network.

This will open a lot of opportunities for online games not only on fps to integrate bitcoin. This is good news for gamers but also has some disadvantages because it will increase the rate of game addiction unless they put a maximum amount to earn daily or monthly.

4947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is Opening The Pandora Box on: February 10, 2021, 06:08:42 AM
Such is the power of influence that Elon Musk is having in his fingertips, literally and figuratively. So do you think that this scenario can be possible - the coming in of more corporate buyers into Bitcoin?

It's really possible more popular institutions soon will invest in to bitcoin. A saw an article yesterday about a rumor on Apple investing in bitcoin and Oracle who is known as a multinational computer technology corporation also diving it bitcoin craze. This will drive bitcoin's price to a greater level and maybe $60k is possible this year or even sooner. His influence really brings a lot of impact to these famous institutions. The stereotype of bitcoin as a scam will slowly disappear because of him.
4948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 10, 2021, 03:58:23 AM
Now that Tesla invested in bitcoin and more famous companies are rumored to invest also bear season won't happen anytime soon. Bitcoin is much more stable now and won't crash that hard unlike what happened in 2018. Some altcoins also are reaching their new ATH. Market correction is normal but this time I don't see it to dump that hard like bitcoin going below $30k.

I know that many or all of us are scared for that to happen again. But it won't hurt to take profit if you're already at gain. We should already learn a lesson from that experience.
4949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I earn 6000 $ IN 3 HOURS | Elon Musk THANKS YOU !!! DOGE on: February 09, 2021, 08:16:43 AM
As Elon Musk is one of the richest man on earth, no wonder that his words are so powerful that he can surely pump any coin with his own tweets. Just like how his company TESLA bought billion worth of bitcoin makes the price of it to go bullish with new ATH.

Last time it's dogecoin he tweeted. And also reached new ATH. A great influencer that is an open minded with crypto investing, that makes sense. Also makes me wonder how much dogecoin he owned?

He can simply buy at a lower price, make a tweet of it then the coin will pump automatically because of his influence. Easy money for a guy like him that is already rich. I hope the people that buy at high price knows what they're doing. Sooner or later they will lose a lot of money if they keep joining the hype of it.

Price now is very volatile and really scary to enter because anytime Elon can tweet about it. I will try to short if it will reach $0.1.
4950  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: February 09, 2021, 04:07:27 AM
Good reason for pump and nothing more as for me. Im sure, that was the point of this purchase for tesla
Tesla also plans to accept bitcoin as payment method and that's for sure gonna increase the mass adoption and if tesla just bought 1.5 Billion dollar worth of bitcoin don't you think it will trigger other large corporations to atleast adopt bitcoin to their payment method aswell? it also could acts as a foundation for bitcoin so the price won't go below $20K.

It is impossible now for bitcoin to go below that price. $30k is only the lowest it can go for me and that would already be considered a big crash, many people will surely buy this time.

There's now a rumor that Apple will also invest in bitcoin but they have not confirmed it yet. If this happens, it will definitely drive bitcoin's price to $50k easily.

4951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Crash? on: February 07, 2021, 10:08:37 AM
Bitcoin does crash when some bad news happens then some people will panic sell their holdings thinking that bitcoin would dump hard, this will be an opportunity for buyers to accumulate bitcoin. But as always, it recovers its original price and even surpasses the ATH as years pass.

But if OP means crash to the point that it will become worthless, I don't see it happening now or anytime soon. Many financial institutions now are investing in bitcoin, they are starting to acknowledge blockchain technology and the use of digital currencies.
4952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon fuels BTC rise 17% DOGE gose 8× on: February 07, 2021, 07:15:21 AM
I'm starting to lose my respect towards him in terms of cryptocurrency. Dogecoin has no maximum supply so I don't see a reason to pump it. Someone out there might have a huge holding of it and can dump anytime they want. I'm curious what type of people buying it at current price. If Elon keeps tweeting about it for the next couple of days, it's possible to reach 10cents per doge. People who don't know anything about crypto will be at big risk.
4953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: February 07, 2021, 06:24:23 AM
They would like to put blame on covid and if they are seriously doing this site for good, they should announce it before it shocks everyone that admin is quit so how many days until such time having reply of being totally in closure. This is clear enough that they don't want to runs their gambling business alive but they just want to reck gamblers' money for the benefit of their own.

A big shame to them, they are not supposed to be here if that only their excuses which are not acceptable. I just hope that they will return the deposited money to the onwers.

If they just give louse excuses about the website they will probably close down soon. I doubt they will return the money to their users because if they are really planning to do that, they could have done it already. Website is not accessible anymore and no update from the admins of the website. Users of this website should start to move on as it seems the owner already abandoned his website.
4954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami To Start Paying Salaries In Bitcoin Soon on: February 07, 2021, 02:56:23 AM
How about the volatility of it? Bitcoin is very volatile, this month's salary could be bigger or smaller in bitcoin value next month. Will the company shoulder all the fees when sending the salary for all their employees?

I think it should be by choice per employee, not all want to accept their money via bitcoin because price can change anytime if it's inside a bitcoin wallet. $500 is still a big difference if price fluctuates. I would prefer receiving it half in bank then half crypto so the salary from crypto can be considered a long-term investment.
4955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC back to All time high ..did you buy ? on: February 07, 2021, 02:10:28 AM
$41,941 is its ATH based on coinmarketcap's website so we still need more push to break ATH again. I bought at $40k and planning to sell somewhere between 42-43k or depending on it's ATH this time.

Just wondering if bitcoin is going to set a new record this weekend or will it start to make a correction by Monday because Chinese New Year is approaching. Or maybe new record high will happen between this week.
4956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: February 06, 2021, 08:30:42 AM
If you're planning to be a full-time trader my advice now is don't continue what you're planning. It's possible to get rich in trading but you really don't know how the market will move. To be able to go full time you must have a fund that is enough for a couple of months separate from your trading capital, this is to avoid going into debt if things don't go well. If you get successful in trading then you can make a living from it, just separate your net profit from your trades.
4957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: February 06, 2021, 04:14:29 AM
Primedice is a good platform if you want to play dice game. They have been operating since I started to know bitcoin.

Bustabit is also a must-try for newbies, their game is very simple. You just have to set your bet and watch the multiplier go above 1x. Your winnings will be your base bet multiplied by the multiplier. If the multiplier gets busted before you cash-out you will get nothing. It's a fun a game if you want to lessen your boredom.  Cheesy
4958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: February 06, 2021, 01:38:55 AM
I have no idea but does airport authorities search even the inside of your shoes? If not, you can write it on a piece of paper and put it there or inside your socks, phone case is also good to hide that paper. Then to make sure they won't be able to access it even if they search through all your things, remove the last 3 words of it and memorize it on your mind. If you're afraid you will forget it, you can print those 3 words on t-shirt or anything that you use daily.
4959  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: February 05, 2021, 09:57:17 AM
Influencer people are trusting to them and they can manipulate market because they are very famous which is their advatanges.
Those business who are failed they can turn into successful and that is reality happening right now in our world once you are rich and famous people it is your advatanges and you can manipulate the people and what ever they say they follow it.

This is something similar to the brands that we are using in our daily life. If a famous celebrity endorses this particular product we are enticed to try that product too. These influencers should not abuse their popularity causing some people to ruin their life. Like Elon's influence, some people panic buy something even if it's too late. Being an influencer has a responsibility because your followers can be easily affected by what you do or say.
4960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: February 05, 2021, 08:57:00 AM
of course they will hide the identity of the man who won the lottery because it is for his safety matters. Last month there is also an American who won in the lottery, if I am not mistaken it is almost hundred dollars also. How lucky they are hitting those jackpots, for the last 13 years I am trying my luck in lottery but until now there are no winnings that I am getting. Hoping very soon that I may hit some jackpot also like this man did.

13 years is a long time to play the lottery regularly, did you at least win some decent money back or nothing at all? I tend to only play when there is a huge jackpot in place, but so far I haven't won anything yet except my buyin back. Unfortunately most of us are never going to make it and win a jackpot, the odds are just against us. My grand father played for more than 45 years lottery every week, and his biggest win was less than 500 USD  Sad

Luck is really not for everyone, some lottery winners don't even bet that often unlike those who regular bettors do. Even though lottery jackpot prize can really change your life, some people still live a miserable life after they won. They spend all of their money on useless things not thinking about their future. They are consumed by their greediness that they think their money won't run out. They will just realize it when their money is all gone.I hope that mega million jackpot winner spends his money wisely.
