This could be a painful way of comforting ourselves should you invest and predict the wrong direction of bitcoin, because what will follow is constant checking of charts and price hoping it's changed direction which could be stressful and I have gone through this in my early days of knowing bitcoin. Afaik trying to laugh it out during a crashing market might be a temporary solution and won't help fix or overcome the feeling of loss...acceptance could be the easier route....
4942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 23, 2021, 04:56:43 PM
I didn't see this coming especially that they have mentioned "promote" to bring shiba inu to our attention. This could simply be a business deal that should benefit its investors and binance themselves who has an interest and btw Binance has dogecoin listed on its exchange so I really don't now how this will work out on one platform with other substitutes in the same niche. Just hope dogecoin isn't showing signs of losing market share...and they have chosen to support the other alternative.

Brighton vs Manchester City this game has really turned out to be super fast and Brighton is made to really defend and do less of the attacking as expected. The game is quite fast such that Brightons player Dunk had to clear the ball off the line but that wasn't enough to stop Manchester City from registering their first goal as they have forced a goal through Gundogan who has always scored against the home team. I hope these guys are not trying to challenge Chelsea's score line Roll Eyes

Well i put norwich +0.5 handicap at 7.5 which yeah thats how i do betting against my lovely club so whenever the bet lost that is just okay as my team win the real match and stay at the top of the league for sure.
I don't know whether to say you were brave or just read between the lines and placed your bet,, because Chelsea looked too dangerous to even try the handicap!

And since you mentioned betting against your team, chances are you might have placed a smaller wager than usual just for the fun of it...I do that sometimes  Tongue

nobody expected that 7 NIL and a hattrick from mason mount.. the first ever hatrick for chelsea.
7 Nil nobody saw this one coming, not even Oscar the octopus could predict this one! The only bad part of getting these many goals is you all get 3 points for a win regardless of number of goals...maybe rules need to be changed.

Some games to look forward to this afternoon

1. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle, well we all know Newcastle has new owners of the club who are expected to pump in more capital to put the club at a better position than it already is and if they can emulate what Manchester City managed to get...then Newcastle should be a regular in the top 10. My prediction for this game Crystal Palace 0-1 Newcastle.

2. Leeds vs Wolverhampton Wanderers , these are two teams have always enjoyed yo watch but I think non of them have reached their full potential but for this fixture I think wolves should have the edge because they have a better team imo.

Everton set sights on signing Lingard in January as plan revealed to evade FFP

Everton have set their sights on a January deal for Man United star Jesse Lingard in January, Football Insider has learned.

The Merseysiders will be in the market for an attacking midfielder capable of scoring goals and slotting straight into Rafael Benitez’s side.

An Everton source has told Football Insider that Lingard is on the club’s target list and Benitez is a big admirer of him.

The Merseysiders are planning to explore a loan-to-buy deal in which Lingard joins on an initial loan that is converted into a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Everton are targeting Lingard as they look to secure a replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson, who will be let go at the end of the season.

At this point for the crypto economy to grow ,support will have to come from not only the crypto aligned companies  but also these well known and established non crypto companies which can act as ambassadors to help sell the crypto products to the people. This is a timely and commendable move by AMC entertainment, I guess this move should also see its share price raise once these crypto payments are available to the people.

Chelsea are really playing like champions this season and if they continue on this path I don't think we can write them off to win this campaigns English Premier League title...of course Manchester City and Liverpool might be other contenders that can't be written off but unfortunately Chelsea just stands out for me.

Current half time scores: Chelsea 3-0 Norwich
Norwich really forced to work had to get the ball and limiting their goal scoring chances ,I don't see these guys getting a goal at Stamford Bridge either as Chelsea are playing a solid game.

Torino - Genoa

It's an interesting game, I bet on Torino to win, and I hope Torino can win. Genoa is a team that has scored a lot of goals in the last games, in a way that makes me a little worried, but if Torino can have a good defense they have great chances of winning
It was a tightly contested match such that I thought Genoa could have got a point after chasing the game for long not until they got a goal back to reduce the deficit by one but torino had other plans and added an extra goal to make it 3-1 and the visitors responded late to make it 3-2. With this result Torino moved in ninth but this might be temporary as other teams have games in hand while Genoa will still remain in the relegation zone not until they start winning consistently.

Yesterday's match between Arsenal and Aston Villa really shocked me to say the least, I really expected Aston Villa to go into this game with their heads held high looking at their most recent head to head but unfortunately for them the gunners had other plans and made sure that they scored first and put in more goals to avoid forcing any draws...it was simply a wow moment to see these guys play like they did, all what's needed is a consistent game from now.
4951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 22, 2021, 04:35:37 PM
Today is another important day for Arsenal. Because they are going to host Aston Villa and they really need to play decently and win also. They had a really poor performance against Brighton and Crystal Palace before. Actually, they were better against Crystal Palace as they scored two goals but they still barely drew with Crystal Palace. The fans really missed to see their team playing strong and winning comfortably. But this is even a tougher match than the last ones. Aston Villa are showing a good performance against big teams. Arsenal can't be considered one of the biggest teams now but they will surely have a hard time beating Aston Villa. I think that it is likely for us to see a draw.
Arsenal is a very inconsistent team and I would not count them to get an easy win here because Aston villa for starters can be a menace when they want to....best result here should be say Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa after both teams have players rested without Europen games duties.

Btw anybody looked at the last 3 games they two teams met....well Arsenal stands no chance to win. Other possible result Aston Villa 1-0 win .
4952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2021, 08:37:23 AM
One thing I love about europa league is that there's always goal galore, if your analysis is right you can win almost often with over 2.5 goals, Napoli finally gets their first win, a well deserved victory without conceding a goal, 3 nil, a shock result came out from Glimt vs Roma, can't believe that Roma will conceded 6 goals from Glimt, I'm just wondering what excuse Mourinho will have to say to the press, despite playing without no red card
Mourinho fielded a weak team which culminated to being thrashed 6-1 by Bodo/Glimt, I think he underated the Norwagian side thinking that they will not pose a serious threat or challenge to Roma thus by changing the main team giving other hard working players a chance to play unfortunately it backfires
Unfortunately this is football and it's going to be unfair on the coach to say that he fielded a weak team when maybe this was purely based on merit....but the again Mourinho is known for such stunts in trying to punish a few players by not giving then the game time.

though he admitted that he was responsible for the loss, meanwhile David Moyes side continue to lead their group as they eye a place in the knock out stage by defeating Ghenk 3-0, Moyes had turned the hammers to a very formidable club whose performance in the EPL and Europa league has been very encouraging.
Great to hear Moyes making the headlines for the right reasons, I guess coaching a big club like Manchester United was to hard of a task...now his found the perfect team.

Betting on Napoli would be a no go area for due to the terrible odds at around ~1.20, Not as if Legia Warsaw aren't capable of pulling an upset too.

Even if I'm expecting an easy win for Napoli, that'dsure a bet to avoid for me.
I second you on this one, and according to my experience this turns out to trap when most of us take such small odds to be bankers but game turns out to be a tough one and high chances of the favourite been beaten too.

My bet is actually on Lyon vs Sparta Prague BTTS and then Franfurt vs Olympiakos Over 2.5 goals.

Sparta Prague for me isn't any convincing for me and lyon playing from home will want to impress its fans and not forgetting the away goal was removed so not much motivation for these guys either as far as I can tell.

As for the Olympiakos match am expecting goals in this one as europa games are known for goals.

Whichever way you look at it yesterday's games headliners has to be Manchester Uniteds comeback compliments of Cristiano Ronaldo last say! Am a United fan and I thought two goals down in Champions League football means game over but it seems Rashford scored the first manu goal which inspired the comeback and the rest is history...that performance did just keep the teams Champions League aspirations alive but the coach's job too because of late his really not getting the results. Bravo boys!!

Another game which caught my eye was the Benfica vs Bayern Munich match, Bayern  seem to be a team that are never tired of scoring and if they keep playing like this then I see them getting this one.
4955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 20, 2021, 07:11:44 PM
Manchester United players are not happy with their coach and are not happy with his tactics,I think his future depends on his performance for this weekend games against Liverpool,I heard Christiano Ronaldo has been asking some of the top Manchester United personnel's to go out for Zidane why Pogba is accusing the team in public for not being mature.
Mu should have changed coach for a long time but the boss is in no hurry to do this because they remember the beginning of Ser Alex's career and therefore give time to Solskjaer....
Should another string of losses and an early exit of champions league football follow, and a loud cry from the fans to sack Ole...then I don't see how Solskjaer will be kept for another season!

Quote
As for me it is better to hire a new coach and if Zidane is ready then this is the best candidate.
The players should understand that MU are not Chelsea here will not take the side of the players although we'll see how it will be
A new coach this time around isn't easy to come by because all the good ones are committed with other clubs

and if this move happens we risk getting worse results than it already is, so for now Solskjaer is fine imo, let's see how the game can change playing around Cristiano Ronaldo.

Guys, you saw what Leicester did? They were losing against Spartak 0:2but made an comeback and won game 3:4. Patson Daka (who is he?) scored poker in 34 hours minutes. Not bad, right Smiley?
Spartak 3 - 4 Daka Tongue
He is a young striker from Africa that was playing with Salzburg and joined Leicester this season. Dunno more but scoring 3 goals in less than 10 minutes then a 4th goal to confirm the 3 points for his team is just impressive!
Impressive and solid performance for the young lad. And interestingly Daka was racking several awards when he was at RB Salzburg and seems like his finding his feet again after several months of less game play, Leicester need to use him more...Indeed it was Spartak moscow against Daka!

By the way I thought Europa games were due for Wednesday,  has their been a change of calendars when these games are played Huh
4957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stablecoin is the most Trustworthy? on: October 20, 2021, 04:35:45 PM
I don't know about trustworthy because one of the biggest stablecoins we have in the industry is tether and it has a sketchy past which which might drag it into the not trust worthy coins but it still remains to be the biggest and most probably the most popular unless you decide to use tether based on other blockchains like the tron chain. And unfortunately am not so much of a stablecoin person so I have stuck to tether the original  stablecoin.

Ajax Amsterdam : Borussia Dortmund now  live on Amazon Prime Germany ...log in and..... happy  .
i hope it will be a great game with many goals
I am also very excited about this game because right now both teams doing good in their leagues and have 100% record here in Champions League as well now it's time for them to do something special in this match for top rank in this group. For me, Borussia Dortmund is very good and have ability to beat Ajax. Haller right now top scorer in Champions League have some good chance of giving his best after having shocking defeat against Utrecht. For Borussia Dortmund's star, Haaland is also had some good opportunity because until now he is unable to give his best performance in European League.

Edit: Ajax in lead after early minutes of game.

Oha  Ajax-BVB  2:0  > > ajax could have scored 2 goals more. they are playing really well today
This game has really shocked me because earlier today when I was placing some sports bets on freebitco.in I saw Ajax been the favourites and thought this was an error by these guys and went all in for Borussia Dortmund but seeing this result at half time,  I regret not following the bookies odds apportionment....IMHO I don't think Haaland and team will fight back. But if Ajax can score 2 in the first half then BVB should score 3 in the second half to win  this Tongue
