4961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Investment Doubt on: March 27, 2017, 09:13:21 PM
Well investing in gambling is already profittable even before bitcoin and i agree that with ntc's emergence, the gambling industry just got a bigger boost to its market. Evrryone can earn a lot but we have to also do our part in researchung which site is safe to invest on.
Being a profit share holder with a gambling house must be an oldest way of making earning as many casinos are following this practice but through bitcoin payment system again gambling industry is finding another refreshing growth just to entertain us in more possible ways.

Even investing with a gambling house is not a gambling activity, it is being accepted by
many gamblers as a way of earning method just to recover their earlier losses.
Haha nope, selling yourself is actually the oldest way of making money. Just saying Wink
Investing in a casino is not gambling if the casino is bound to make a profit. Have you ever thought that it can lose money or even go bankrupt? If the profit is uncertain and you can lose money it's gambling like any other, at least to me.

4962  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Problems in Hser Ner Moo murder case - Help review the case - Earn BTC on: March 27, 2017, 08:40:04 PM
I have the same one as well, but I haven't added anything new, so I'm not asking for any reward. I also have no new ideas, but it's in the attorney's best interest not to look for evidence and let people forget about the case. If someone made a breakthrough that proved Met's innocence it would be a major career ending event. Even if he is guilty we can see that people used their feelings to judge him, instead of hard evidence.
4963  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: March 27, 2017, 08:06:43 PM

it will have a negative impact when you're older enough that your liver needs to be replaced. liver cost millions and there are millions of people dead due to liver failure. if its okay to you that your liver wil be replaced by dog's liver then continue drinking. its your choice.
Here it does not turn out to replace his liver, on a similar one with a dog. The organs do not fit, as far as I know. Pig is more suitable for transplant. Only such an operation is also expensive. Cheaper to be healthy.

Yes. Cheaper to be healthy and rejoice without alcohol. In addition, the new liver may not settle down. Use in moderate doses on holidays and you can be great at saving money.
Or make your own. I've been making my own wine and liqueur and it comes out much better and cheaper than what I used to buy in stores. Last year I made sake and it also came out great. Life would be dull without alcohol.
4964  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ [6 SPOTS AVAILABLE] NITROGENSPORTS.EU Signature Campaign ★★★ on: March 26, 2017, 09:13:22 PM
I'm sure that Nitro, being as big as they are, will make good on any payments owing, so I'm not terribly concerned about the campaign... I just hope notaek is OK Huh  Undecided
It seems the sheet has been updated and I got my payment. Everything should be fine Smiley
4965  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: March 26, 2017, 09:06:59 PM
It's a good moment to invest because we're in a short period of uncertainty. Bitcoin has been slowly growing for many years and once a while it slows down to gain momentum for another pump. This might be it, especially if it goes down below $750, which would be a golden opportunity to get more. I'm fairly certain we are about to get a new ATH by 2018, the only question is how much will you gain from it, because it might continue up from this little dip to $800s or test $750 and launch from that.
4966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIP Bitcoin, better luck next time on: March 26, 2017, 08:28:47 PM
lol,
what it has to with that those 2 countries ?
None of these countries can control bitcoin and i know they want to take bitcoin down or access it's tx info but it's impossible.

I agree with you but in as much as they can't centralize and control Bitcoin we shouldn't be caught complacent of their actions but rather monitor them and resist everything that they try to set to have Bitcoin under their control.
They very much can centralise and control Bitcoin.  As the whitepaper says:
Quote
If a majority of CPU power is controlled by honest nodes, the honest chain will grow the
fastest and outpace any competing chains. To modify a past block, an attacker would have to
redo the proof-of-work of the block and all blocks after it and then catch up with and surpass the
work of the honest nodes.
So, a collection of dishonest nodes would be more than capable of messing with Bitcoin if they collaborated - with the growing monopolies of allied forces working on BU they could easily carry out a 51% attack and if only a few people owned as much Bitcoin as everyone else it would be even more centralised than fiat currency from the start, which unfortunately is part of the problem with a currency that deflates so quickly.
How can a few people owning as much as everyone else can make it more centralised than fiat? Bitcoins you own don't give you any power over the rest of them.
Fiat is centralised because the government of a country that issues it can decide to change its value whenever they like. They can print new bills, destroy old ones and even take your own bills from your bank account, like they did in Cyprus. You can't do it with Bitcoins.
4967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price of bitcoin still skyrocket on: March 21, 2017, 09:55:43 PM
Once this new episode of Bitcoin unlimited is over there will be new rise in Bitcoin's market. There are many things been cleared that new so called Bitcoin Unlimited will be treated as altcoin and reality and facts tell that it can be replace real Bitcoin. Stay tuned to see new skyrocket in value of current bitcoin.
And what if it's not over? BU can actually take over and we'll have a migration of current users to the new client. I don't expect it to happen soon, but we have to consider the possibility.
Wouldn't that mean the split of investors between the two fraction and ultimately the drop in price of both of them until the process is complete?
4968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: March 21, 2017, 09:51:42 PM
I prefer planned gambling. Being impulsive tends to catch me off guard i.e. unprepared to face the sudden wins or losses, unsure how much to bet and what my "waste cash" is at the moment.
I have played with friends a lot and walking into a casino drunk for "a quick one" always ended bad. I expect it might be similar with online gambling.
4969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: March 21, 2017, 09:36:20 PM
So the topic is still there? Any response from Roger?
I wonder who gives up. If Mr. Ver doesn't take it, the topic will give him some bad publicity. (coward not supporting his own project?)
Anyway If I had an option to choose the same cash prize in BU and BTC I'd choose BTC in an instant. BU still has a long way to go.
4970  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MGTOW's among bitcointalkers on: March 21, 2017, 09:24:54 PM
OP, I'd like to ask how has this helped you in any way? I get that you might feel insecure and vulnerable in a relationship and want to change it, but how building a wall around yourself can help in any way?
Being in defensive from the start is not the way to start a healthy relationship.

There are lot of bitcointalkers like these. Especially the young ones, earning bitcoin is their motivation and girls are not really their thing, they are not nerds but they are weird. Friends that I know using bitcoin, have girlfriends of their own. Saying these, this type of person is more likely the true lovers when they find the right girl, and I am envious with these kind of people because they prioritize their own selves than love, it is quite the opposite to me, and I think it is taking the toll on me.
Being an egoist is really nothing to envy. If your girl's needs are more important to you, you are good the way you are, you just need her to appreciate it. Don't try to change yourself to adapt to society!
4971  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Brand new to Bitcoin Mining. Wondering what the dos and don'ts are for a newb. on: March 21, 2017, 07:59:24 PM
Based on your post I can see you're completely new, so I'd recommend watching some yt videos that explain the process of mining.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmOzih6I1zs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7opj5-32hw
These are quite old, but the process is still the same, you just need a newer, better hardware.
4972  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MGTOW's among bitcointalkers on: March 21, 2017, 07:52:05 PM
I've been in a relationship for too long to have anything in common with this movement, but I can understand if some guys feel more independent by choosing not to get involved in a relationship.
I know a number of broken marriages and both sides often end up broken and deeply scarred for life. They have trouble forming another relationship because they are afraid of giving too much to another person.
A true relationship is based on trust and giving it all, believing that the other person will also give it all and never stab you in the back.
4973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BU an actual threat? on: March 21, 2017, 07:16:34 PM
It looks like BU is going to happen no matter what. Exchanges already allow traders to buy BU for more than $200, is pretty cheap than BTC itself. There's considerable amount of volume particularly on bitfinex, its going to be more than what its price later as I can see.

I don't think its a threat to BTC though, its going to be like ETH and ETC.
This is a speculative that is basically allowing people to bet on the BU by investing money in it. Ver and all the BU supporters will have a lot of money invested and are hoping to multiply their fortunes with this move.
Is it a threat? I think it is, because we don't know if it can handle the traffic and security as our old core did. What if it doesn't and makes Bitcoin more unreliable and prone to hacks?
4974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Radioactive Iodine-131 detected over large areas in Europe. on: March 21, 2017, 06:56:34 PM
I think the artic cold descended over Europe in the early winter this year so the winds were actually north winds.  Chernobyl incident occured in April when the south winds would become more prominent.  I'm not a meteorologist however.
There's a facility in north-western Russia used to decomission and store old nuclear reactors... Maybe they took one on for decommisioning  that was still critical?

From that question alone one can guess you know nothing, absolutely nothing about the technology. You even know about Fukushima?

Whoever did this does not want to admit it,perhaps it is still the easiest to blame the Russians nuclear testing, I even saw the information that is to blame one of their nuclear submarine which had a slight accident.

This always blaming the russians for everything seems to wear out.
This blaming came from somewhere, you know.
Have you ever heard of the Russian nuclear powered bomber project? While the USA were struggling to launch their own nuclear engine, because they knew it's going to pose a threat to the crew, as shielding would be so heavy they'd have to reduce the load. There were also issues with fumes and separation of radioactive coolant. Russians had no such problems. Their plane crew flew without any shielding (and died) and nobody cared about the separation of radioactive fumes. They sprinkled some radiation all over the Siberia, nobody lives there anyway (at least nobody they would be worried about)...
4975  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putting taxation in the blockchain. on: March 21, 2017, 06:40:25 PM
I'm all for adding the options to pay my utility bills through blockchain, but I'm totally against connecting it with any system of taxation. A few centuries ago people were forced to pay tithe or a head tax. These taxes were more or less fair because you either paid a 10th of your income to the state and/or you paid a fixed amount each year. Nowadays we have to pay 40%-50% of our income in various taxes like VAT, income tax that is in most countries close to 20% alone!
4976  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 21, 2017, 06:18:12 PM
yeah i like how bitcoin simply don't care about hard fork or soft fork, people can't lose their investment only because of some fud here and there, it's not the first time that bitcoin was declared done and has recovered very quickly, and i'm not worried anymore if soemthing like this happen again a new technology like this can not simply die sorry
That's because bitcoin is also the technology behind it. If blockchains wins the applause of the masses Bitcoin will gain from it, even if it doesn't become a widely used world currency.
Also, Japan is thinking about making Bitcoin officially accepted and regulated, which is surely pumping the price.
4977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Unlimited Won't Ever Be The "Bitcoin", Exchanges Vow on: March 20, 2017, 07:36:04 PM
Hi folks can someone tell me when this fucking fork will start ?

And me Smiley
There's no date. It can happen or not, right now BU is:
1. Bugged and not ready to take over even if it were supported by the majority
2. Not supported by the majority

Now this can change in the matter of weeks or months or it may never... I personally think it should happen, but when the upgraded version is 100% safe and stable and it doesn't have to be the version pushed by Ver and his colleagues.
4978  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you have 10 BTC = Approx $10,000, where would you invest for 1% monthly? on: March 20, 2017, 07:30:26 PM
The best offer is buy home and renting or no invest.
A home for $10k? Where did you see such offers? I'm sure you can buy a small beach house somewhere for that price, but in most countries $10k doesn't buy you a 1 bedroom flat.
In Europe typical prices for a small 100m2 house with a piece of land start at $50k.

With that money you could start offering loans or trading. Just stay away from cloud mining and other ponzis.
4979  Other / Politics & Society / Re: David Rockefeller dies aged 101 on: March 20, 2017, 07:21:31 PM
You mean he had 7 heart transplants? That's too much. He had the money to afford the transplants and here there are so many who don't have money and die at such a young age. May his soul RIP.
And all this while some people are waiting long years for a single one and some are dying never being able to get it. Money can buy you everything even long life, but not immortality.
He became rich and lived a long life, I only wish for just one of these things in my life, whichever it may be, but I most likely won't get any.
4980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how has your attitude to bitcoin changed the longer you've been into it? on: March 20, 2017, 07:17:09 PM
My first experience with Bitcoin was not so good. Most businesses I got interested in happened to be scams and the price of Bitcoin was going down fast. I had some money invested but all my early ones seemed to turn into losses. I decided to hold and not care about the price, hoping that it will slowly recover and it did. Now I'm happy that I got into Bitcoin and I hope it continues to grow.
