4981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 14, 2019, 10:15:20 AM
I probably would have been gambling from my salary if i had a source of income. But for now i only play when i get money from friends in form.

Play for fun and you should be good as you do not earn it is better to be in charge so that you do not get addicted to the gambling and create problem for yourself which can lead to bad health and relationship as well.
You did not put one of the best options to consider as capital for gambling. You may also use the leftover money you can get by saving some money from your day to day basis.

For example, you had this budget for the day and you have left-overs in your pocket. It's like a 10% of your daily budget. Just keep it and save it. You will never notice that you are having enough money to have a capital in your gambling stuff. I am this type of person where I budget my daily expenses and has a maximum expense within a day. If I have money left within the budget, then I would save it and make it the capital investment for my gambling.
4982  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving away 15 merits to newbies on: April 14, 2019, 06:27:49 AM
Keep up the good work man that gives chance to newbies ranked up. I think the reason why they did not look to newbie's profile because the majority of them got banned. Look at this thread, How many banned users have you merited?.

Note: banned users can still have good posts. Meriting them isn't necessarily a bad thing.

In total, 26864 users received at least 1 Merit until last Friday's merit data dump, and 3024 of those (11.26%) have been banned.
I hope you've merited deserving one to rank up and not end up nothing. Wink
4983  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the most legit btc casino/sportsbook/poker site? on: April 13, 2019, 07:15:03 PM
If you meant of asking what are the most legit BTC casinos, sporsbook, and poker sites,
I would personally prefer.:

Sportsbet.io is the best sports book at all. I've been using the platform for a couple of months already and I am legitimately enjoying it.
Sportsbetting is also one of the safest betting platform/gambling platforms of all since you can deeply analyze and predict who will be the winner. This is the only site that I could refer but you may also check bitcoins, bitcoinrush, cloudbet and nitrogen.
4984  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / [FILIPINO GUIDE] PAANO MO MA-VERIFY ANG IYONG ELECTRUM USING WINDOWS,MAC,LINUX on: April 13, 2019, 07:05:10 PM

WINDOWS

1) I-download at Install mo ang gpg4win na nagmula dito: https://www.gpg4win.org/get-gpg4win.html

2) Pagkatapos mong ma-download buksan mo ang Kleopatra at pindutin and Lookup on Server.

Example ng maling pagka-download.

Make sure na i'verify niyo muna yung downloaded electrum app before installing it.

Don't trust, verify Wink
FINISH

LINUX

1) Buksan ang terminal at isulat ang:
Code:
sudo apt-get install gnupg

4986  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 13, 2019, 02:36:34 PM
I am more comfortable doing KYC to exchange than doing KYC to ICO, because there is no guaranty, that these ICO's are going to stay for long term, compared to exchange where they are compliant to the government where they are operating so it's much safer than ICO.
An eligible user and a person who does not have a motive of doing such illegal deeds must not be afraid of the KYC (Know Your Customer) privacy data. But yes, some people are also afraid of doing something digitally because they might end up having no idea and being sued/ sentenced if they won't follow KYC. However, even though an eligible person like us is not afraid of it, we don't really like to be regulated like this.

I think we should just have to accept the fact the KYC is becoming more and more mandatory because of the people who abused cryptocurrencies and made it look bad to the authorities. Disclosing documents won't allow you having privacy. The regulators must find another option or alternative to avoid illegal activities.
4987  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mother Forcing Chemical Castration & Gender Reassignment of 6 Year Old Boy In TX on: April 13, 2019, 02:16:40 PM
I find this topic sad. I wonder if this little boy knows how many people are behind him on being James. The child doesn't stand a chance, it'snot fair. I say this broken with tears, I feel so helpless and crushed with the knowledge of what's happening to the child.

The mother must accept the natural gender of his child since it was the one who has given to her by the Lord/God. I don't know but I think the mother has a psychiatric disorder that needs to be checked. This case is very important and should be seen as a model that the other people will do, as well.
4988  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Gold, the conflict on: April 13, 2019, 01:26:26 PM
While Bitcoin true purpose was for electronic payment according to what satoshi wrote in the whitepaper.

I agree with most of what you said. But I don't think bitcoin is limited as a payment currency, but also as a store of value(as most people think also). Not because Satoshi said it was made for electronic payments it doesn't automatically mean we should only use it solely for that purpose.
Yeah right, it is not ideal to consider Bitcoin as the thing to resolve the debt issue rampaging the world in no distance time despite its high volatility. Not everyone would accept bitcoin as payment since they don't even have a single Idea about it. Even if we will let them learn
about the blockchain, they will never get interested to learn so.

Gold is a very traditional asset that you could mine in the deepest part of the soil and also considered as a great resource and
a piece of jewelry because it is a physical asset. I am not against bitcoin but comparing it to gold is something I don't really understand.
4989  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 2 years in jail for illegally selling hundreds of thousands in Bitcoin on: April 13, 2019, 12:58:04 PM
Jacod shouldn't be that greedy and would still keep his operation running. I don't know what comes in his mind every day but what he did is definitely traceable and could annoy the authorities and the financial institutions. Since he had enough money to annoy the authority, at that moment he must have at least hire an account and register his operation to the sec so that he should have avoided being sentenced for this.
If he followed the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and registered his platform with it, then he should have enjoyed his life as a young rich self-made millionaire.
4990  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BTC worth $1M confiscated in Canada ruling on: April 13, 2019, 12:32:58 PM
So just reminder for criminals not to use bitcoin at all cost  Grin, you may never know that you are dealing with undercover cops and just a matter of time before they will caught you.
That huge amount of money can easily be trace in this blockchain technology and if they do this for a reason for sure some intelligence unit of the government knows this thing. Bitcoin is just there instrument to do things that is against the law, unluckily someone are working well to the government just to see those criminals. Now, cryptocurrency is part of their obligations to investigate more because there might be more black transactions happening in this market, who knows about it. So if you are one of those, you probably need to hide well.
Even though the bitcoin will let you buy things anonymously in the digital world, the person must have been aware that he was not alone doing so, the undercovers would also do it and catch him. The reason why this guy's bitcoin was confiscated just because they used bitcoin for buying unlicensed guns. This is is also not a gun dealer but a drug pusher, as well.

Darkweb is a marketplace where you will be able to buy things not available in a normal market. However, due to its popularity today, the authorities are able to see what is happening inside and try to find who are the people who took advantage of it.
4991  Other / Politics & Society / Re: About the corruption in our globe... on: April 13, 2019, 12:01:39 PM
Corruption has become a global issue that every country has element of corruption activities including the United States of America.
Like what the heck? Honestly, corruption will never ever end and the people who would expect for it to go away are the people who think the world is perfect. We chose to be manipulated by the people we see as more powerful than us without us realizing that we can be the person we wanted. The reason why corruption was created is that the people let a ^ group of people manipulate them before.

Being a politician is really a great thing. Great thing to steal, fool and get your pockets loaded with the people's money and hard works. That's how it is and we have to accept it.
4992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anti-scam addresses Database on: April 13, 2019, 11:45:18 AM
Ain't know the reason why you still need to report it. As the creator made the link, it is very obvious that the only people who will be able to be caught by this are the ones who really don't know how the internet works.

Anyways, posting it to the forum is really a helpful thing you did as well. You don't have to report that address since they will be able to do one within a minute, as well. You'll just make yourself tired of getting rid of them so don't waste your time by doing so.
4993  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Julain Assange Arrested on: April 13, 2019, 11:31:36 AM
Julian Assange is really a great actor. However, I don't see the reason why he avoided the extradition to Sweden over a sexual assault case that has since been dropped. Now, since he failed to surrender to the court, he will face a US federal conspiracy charges related to one
of the largest ever leaks of government secrets. I wonder what are the things he leaked. Maybe this is the reason why the UK left the European Union. Or Maybe, he just saved his country and his fellow countrymen into something. We don't know.
4994  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Homosexuality is a dangerous mental disorder on: April 13, 2019, 11:14:06 AM
I'm not against the LGBT community and the Liberals but looking in the statistics of AIDS cases is really annoying. Gays are not bad, but having sex without security that was practiced by them is something they need to work out. You don't have to be a gay or a lesbian to protect yourself as well, but if you care with your fellow people you must protect yourself from the STDs to protect the other people as well.
Please be advised that I am not pertaining to gays and lesbians generally, just some of them.

And yes, you should never judge people as well. If you don't want them then you should just ignore them because they don't even care about your opinion. Have your own life is enough to be happy.
4995  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why has Harvard University invested in Blockstack’s token sale? on: April 12, 2019, 11:18:14 PM
Upon checking the article, it is clearly stated that blockstack will be the first  SEC-qualified token offering of its kind. You don't have to be in harvard to consider this kind of cryptocurrency. The only opportunity the blockchain had was this. Being SEC qualified. I only scanned the article, but the reason may be is because blockstack made a new options and regulations for their coins to be qualified with the SEC's judgement and approval.

Please check this article for another preferences.:

4996  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm from crypto Valley in Zug Switzerland on: April 12, 2019, 10:57:54 PM
Well if you want to earn some profit, always remember that profit doesn't come overnight. If you want to earn from your home, you have to invest with learning how to trade. Learn how to lose, how to win and also learn how to be passionate so that, even if you lose, you will always go back where you stand and keep fighting. Also, get your rank in forum high so that you will be able to earn a big profit from joining campaigns and even managing it. If you have a good set of cash, try to establish one of your idea with regards of cryptocurrency.

Hope it could help.
4997  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Strong Customer Authentication banking changes, on: April 12, 2019, 10:44:04 PM
Well I guess, they knew that some people are taking advantage of their system's vulnerability. Maybe, they were already been victimized by the great frauds without noticing them and had a zero identification about them for the authority to catch them. We still have a couple of months to be anonymous users in online payments since this regulation will be initiated on 14 of September this year in the whole of Europe.

Well you may check these as it is the exemptions to strong customer authentication

"Exemptions to Strong Customer Authentication
Under this new regulation, specific types of low-risk payments may be exempted from Strong Customer Authentication. Payment providers like Stripe will be able to request these exemptions when processing the payment. The cardholder’s bank will then receive the request, assess the risk level of the transaction, and ultimately decide whether to approve the exemption or whether authentication is still necessary.

Building authentication into your checkout flow introduces an extra step that can add friction and increase customer drop-off. Using exemptions for low-risk payments can reduce the number of times you will need to authenticate a customer and reduce friction. We have designed our new SCA-ready payments products to let you take advantage of exemptions when possible to help protect your conversion.

"The most relevant exemptions for internet businesses are:"
