price staying very low , where is DEV with stabilization fund

Stabilization fund was enacted immediately following the listing on C-Cex.  The issue is we need to see a decent rise to have the btc to cover the dips again. Right now people dumped into our fund and price is low so this works on both rises and falls, not just falls.

I am working on the website and as someone suggested game key partnership.

SRBOOTH is correct though need community backing or no coin succeeds.  Pride over at ccex told me last night doom hasn't been mentioned in chat in 2 days.

Doom has been mentioned. It was last night when I was talking about it. Wink  Website should have been up before coin release. Are you the only person working on this ALT or is there a team?  Where's the official block explorer? That should have also been done before the coin was released.  The only thing about this coin that attracted any users was the "new" algo.  Don't get me wrong I support DOOM, but I'm also starting to back away from it.  I hope to see more updates from you.

Yeah the website should have been funded through the premine I though , I'm sure someone would take the bounty, people are also saying the logo is ugly.

I have around 5k coins not alot yeah i'm not going to dump any not even at 20k sants .  But I won't keep mining increasing my holdings if news is so sparse

I know the coin launched quite recently but there a few interesting other coins launching this week I will take a look at while I wait for developments here.

Ok I was just wondering I'm not a market wiz I rarely trade my coins I hold and it always seems I'm bag holding and the last to dump when the price goes to dirt.

I'll post a few messages in C-CEX chat and star making some small buys.  I don't use Bitrexx , after the last 2-3 scam coins they listed I'm done with them for the most part.

thanks for the guide

The power cord you recommend  :
SF Cable, 10ft 16 AWG Universal Power Cord - IEC320 C13 to NEMA 5-15P SJT 13A

http://www.sfcable.com/P7C16-10.html

this looks like a regular PC power supply power cord , comes standard with my 1300Watt PSUs ?
is'nt this only for 110v?

what cord would be needed to run this miner off a 200-240 Amp receptable ? would you need a PDU ?

You'd need a cord that goes from whatever kind of recepticle you have (6-20p L6-20p or L6-30p would be common but not the only options) to C13.  However since it has two PSU's, you'd need a splitter, which might be difficult to find with enough amp rating, or you'd need a PDU.

I was planning on using two separate outlets on different breakers thats not a problem running the numbers honestly running an SP30 at 4.1 TH at 2600WATT actually

running the numbers provides a better hash/Watt number than 4.5 TH at 2900WATT, not sure what all the big deal with maxizing the hash ratio to all ends is.  Hash/Watt

is what matters in the end.

although I am somewhat disappointed you paid 'mucho" for the sp30...I was under the impression you were 'SuperMan"
getting equipment for free from your hardware guides and reviews
Even the guy who writes the software that almost all mining equipment in existence uses and depends on hardly ever gets free hardware, even though he returns the favour with ongoing driver support, though he did get an SP10 which he was grateful for.
I think this is very sad.   Manufacturers need to 'man up' and take care of con and kano.

They probably get free stuff  once in a while and plus they were in the bitcoin game alot earlier than most enough with the pity parade they probable have a decent BTC portfolio.  I write open source software myself and I never expect a handout I do it in my spare time because I like to code..  and ..

most of the code i write and sometimes make money off of is stuff I needed for myself anyways and just decided to share it since it solves a problem for me and others if they didn't do it someone else would have.

they do good work yes but come on now
4985  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 06, 2014, 03:58:42 PM
Anyone know how many of these I can safely power on a 20 amp breaker ?

I am useless when it comes to working this out.

I was told many would be fine due to using 12v.

But I would appreciate someone in the know answering.

Thanks in advance.

edit:  UK based, so 240v.

oops missed the 240v

Good Luck with delivery today Roadstress!!

Thank you. Unit was delivered yesterday actually, but I will have it online today.

well thats nice - i dont understand how you can keep it so quiet - id be singing from the rooftops if i was one of the only 3-4 ppl in the world with an sp30 in hand!!

you guys that paid the premium price should be more gutted than the group buy guys unless you know something we dont...

68 x 13,000USD.... is that right???

Probably paid no more than 6k each dude where do u get 13k? There was a deal I almost pulled the trigger on
For 3 units at 17.5k
4991  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 06, 2014, 04:07:32 AM
Collider, jtoomim, Roadsress or anyone with the early machines:
Please post your statistics and whether you achieved sustained ~4.5TH at 208-220V (please post your voltage) and what was the speed at 110/120V if applicable (I assume 4.1Th). Thanks.

Has anyone actually received the SP30 yet?

these are the 'july' batch

i imagine dogie & perhaps roadstress didnt part with any coin, i could be mistaken

there was a spondoolie post regarding 'our 63 units' earlier

I paid a premium for a July shipment of one SP30, purchased through the April/July "Better Together" bundle that cost a bundle. My miner was shipped on July 30th, and arrived in Washington at our datacenter on August 1st. Our organization (which is mostly just my brother and I) has purchased a total of 68 units, not 63. Of those, 37 are from Roadstress's group buy, one I've already received, and the other 30 are September units.

My SP30 has been running a smidgeon shy of 4.0 TH/s for a few days on 122V. I'm certain the SP30 can be run at higher hashrate on our 122V (since I saw it for a few minutes), but due to a bug in some of the earlier firmware versions I wasn't able to sustain that performance, and the current firmware hardcaps the PSU DC supply to 1080W. My miner has a record of being stress-tested at 4.5 TH/s in Israel, so I presume that once I have it on 200+V, I'll be able to get 4.5 TH/s or higher with it again. Current stats are below. I just rebooted it because I wanted check its fit in our racks.

Our 250V transformer should be coming online soon. I might be able to sneak in a few tests on ~250V (maybe 254V) in a few days. Once we get inspected for our electrical work, I'll be able to put our SP30s on the 250V for good.

Those of you who have been talking about hosting: you may want to take a look at my datacenter, the Toomim Bros. Bitcoin Mining Concern, Ltd. Our website is Toom.im. We're usually cheaper than hosting at home. We're also less expensive than any other hosting provider I know of, although a couple of other services come close. Rates for an SP30 (assuming 3 kW) are $270/month for month-to-month hosting with no installation fees, and $210/month if you pay 12 months in advance. We'll be coming online within two weeks. If you send an early August batch unit straight to us from Spondoolies, we might not be able to turn it on for a few days, since we're still finishing up construction and inspections. We should be fully ready for late August and all September units, though. Video tours are available on Skype (id: jtoomim).

Jonathan

If I can get my hands on another SP-30 I would def be interested in your hosting deals, seems like the best rate out there right now.  I calculated the amount of s3 units I would nee to simulate the performance of a SP30 and its around 11 s3s each using about 340 Watts would use up around 3800 watts of power a tad more than an SP30 plus you have more machines and PSU's you worry about.
Ad on top of that even though they ship from stock they would cost you $600 or so more.

SP-TECH rather than giving us a retroactive discount on the units we already ordered , we need coupons RIGHT now so those who are interested can put them towards September gear.  I had set my mind on at least 6 TH of power this summer so for me to meet my hash power goal if I need to order another unit that is fine but I would like to get some sort of discount to make it more palatable.

If I don't see anything in this thread by Thursday I'll contact sales and see if we can work something out for next week because I still think even with the lower hash rate SP-TECH makes the best miner on the planet.

...2nd September batch can be delivered on time.
2nd September batch will be shipped in the 2nd half of September. We'll ship on time.
Is there any word on when RoadStress' GroupBuy will begin shipping?  Vague schedules make planning excruciatingly difficult. Perhaps you all have some sort of clarity on this by now?  Any word is appreciated.

yeah inquiring minds want to know...
After August 11th.

Source: super secret braining I did  Grin (arrogant, I know)

Man i hope its sooner than that at least for us with small orders of one or two machines , SP-Tech last week had at least 20 machines hashing during their burn out process right at the end of July so the hope is by now they have a couple hundred getting burnt in by now.

this coin needs a relaunch, with a different/better name and different algorithm, maybe cryptonite algo from cryptonote coins.(since gpu there is 1:1 with cpu), as its pretty obvious that this coin has had a GPU miner/s from launch.
Similar to doomcoin only worse , at least with doom the released the GPU miners relatively soon and fairly to all people who read the forum and also on the main thread
these a$holes refuse to release the miner until what they have the 90% of the supply ?  Screw this coin lol.

I expect somthing aboun 0.0009> 0.001 without any special effort...

man i hope your right its been nothing but scam coins left and right i was just about to put my miners up for sale till i found this coin.  Even though there is lack of pool support
the devs seem more honest and actually use the premine for a good cause.  I'll hold half my 1500 coins long term but if we can .001 i will at least be able to recoup some electricity bills from this
nightmare summer.

I am following this coin from the start! I know what are you speaking but you need to understand that our expectation is pump on bittrex and pump on mintpal. You need to wait a bit. There is market schedule!

so what price do you expect

The diff increased since yesterday yet almost all buy support disappeared. What happened?

block halving

Block halving doesn't explain half price.

So you think that when you halve block have instant price up by double? Please understand that you are on market where rules are not rules Smiley

edit: we have btc volume doubled so it means something Wink

What are you talking about? The price in the last few days was roughly between 15000 and 20000.
And no, if anything we have BTC volume halved. Don't just look bittrex, there's c-cex too. Yesterday there was around 5 BTC buy support on c-cex.

C-CEX price tanking as well, bittrexx is just bad for new coins imo

if anything the price should go higher with the halving similar to darkcoin.  Who has coins to dump in such quantities i would like to know
