4982  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My account was blocked how can I log into coinbase without a phone number on: August 24, 2021, 12:47:07 PM
Hey, im a newbie... i need help plz, yesterday I got my crypto wallet lock for the first time and I got a question, how can I create a coinbase account without a phone number? Can I buy a new account? Can I be re-blocked if I use my friend's number?

As I know, it's not allowed to have more than one account on Coinbase. Buying or selling a Coinbase account is also forbidden, there you risk blocking the account if they recognize the unauthorized use.
It can't be "re-blocked" or unsuspended using any other phone number, why should be? If it's possible I can easily take your account using my phone no.
However, if you still have access to your email used on registration, you have a chance to get your account back. Of course, if you did not do anything wrong or against their TOS.

You need to understand, your account on any exchange or wallet is only yours. It is completely personal, like a bank account. Sharing access to them always can cause some problems.

OP, as you can see, almost all older and reputed members think that you need better rank than newbie here. Although I do not support that view because you are a much better artist than me, even if I am Legendary here.

So, obviously, you need to improve your rank or to give some recognition to your account here. I've seen some designers practice free demo work before, so in that way, they proved their quality and that they really stand behind it.
You also can participate in many contests over this forum, even if you don’t get a reward, you’ll draw attention to yourself.
For example, here is one actual BitcoinTalkShow graphics contest
4985  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share your costly lesson about cryptocurrency.. on: August 24, 2021, 09:44:13 AM
I think I have gone through most of the expensive lessons if we are talking about cryptocurrencies.
My first lesson, "not your keys, not your coins" is made by it is now a global legend Mt. Gox.

Something more expensive cost me when I try to help some people with the configuration of some scripts I didn't know or checked it was a malicious keylogger. I infected the whole computer, which caused serious problems because it is always on, with all the possible logins I use. It cost me around 7-8 Bitcoins, (one solid part was in altcoin so the value varied a lot).
there I learned that although I have all the keys, it's not enough.

only after all the losses, I buy a hardware wallet Roll Eyes
4986  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another Battle for Binance on: August 24, 2021, 08:12:41 AM
Sometimes the truth is considered FUD because it has no corroborating evidence. Given this case, I guess it has something to do and the anonymous statement is a little bit true. I just pleased it when people start giving their honest reviews along with evidence and stop hiding things against what they think is most trusted. This assumption is actually slowly becoming an opportunity to start a dirty business in a big company, including Binance.

that it is difficult to discern what FUD is and what it really is. they are certainly under the microscope and it is difficult to predict what will come out of them in the end.

"SEC has now confirmed that #Binance is under investigation by the Federal Government"

4987  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] titanicons.com - Deposits accepted, Withdrawls denied on: August 24, 2021, 08:06:25 AM
Unfortunately, you can forget about your 0.0108 BTC, it's gone. 0.052 BTC on your account there never existed.
You can do something here, report this website/domain to their domain registrar Namecheap, and explain to them your case. they have insight into domain ownership, but unfortunately the maximum they can do is suspend the domain. however, it will also be something, because further fraud from there can be stopped.
Next, if your domain is really worth that money, ask your registrar domain back. Tell them that you are scammed, or your computer is hacked and try to get it back.

I have seen this model of fraud before, some freelancers crypto noobs were "paid" in this way. the basic object of fraud is some service or goods, not directly asking for money.
4988  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Buff.bet unfairly closing account and confiscating 399mbtc balance on: August 23, 2021, 06:34:17 PM
if there is an online gambling ban by the German government, why are you trying to register at casinos that don’t want users from there?
I find this about banning online gambling, for example Germany Set to Ban Online Gambling as of January
But there is some changes in July 2021 Germany’s new regulations will finally allow online casino licensing in 2021

I saw for example Sportsbet.io was accused of illegally accepting users from countries with similar regulations here so, they are also decided to do not to permit accounts to be opened or used by customers resident in France, Germany etc...  https://sportsbet.io/about/terms-and-conditions
hence it is only an adaptation to the laws of certain states.

certainly, in this case, Buff.bet should not allow any possibility of registration of users from restricted zones.
I would like to see what they have to say here before support this flag.
4989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 23, 2021, 04:15:05 PM
Spurs are in talks with Wolves for Adama Traore. I think it would be a great transfer given the attribute Traore possesses- his physique, his pace so it would be a strong man in wing which Spurs need right now. So I can see what Nuno is thinking there by adding another pacy winger in the team. Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Son all have tremendous pace and adding Adama Traore in there would make their team extremely strong on counters. Now they just need to keep a hold on Kane and that's it- a perfect team.

Spurs are also in speculations about moving Ronaldo from Juventus. Portuguese connection.
If you look at Traore statistic in last year, he scored just twice and have few goal chances created. nothing special. he knows how to flash for a moment, but then becomes invisible for a few games. He is not a player for something more serious.
4990  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: August 23, 2021, 04:03:27 PM
Does anyone else doubt that they can also replay with cancellation dates and no KYC withdrawals until the end of October?

it is not the end of October, but it's 19.October. 10+ days less.
Also, if I understand correctly, everyone can withdraw money from there, even without KYC. but unverified accounts are limited to withdrawals and closing trading positions only.

Quote
Existing users who have not yet completed Intermediate Verification will have their account permissions temporarily changed to “Withdraw Only”, with services limited to withdrawal, order cancellation, position close, and redemption. This will be carried out in phases to minimise user-experience disruption, from now through 2021-10-19 00:00 AM (UTC). Existing users will be informed directly with more details. Once users complete the Intermediate Verification, they will be able to resume full access to Binance products and services.

4991  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: a very, very very big cryptoconis scam on: August 23, 2021, 11:41:51 AM
dude it's a scam what is the difference would the referral code make, anyway I edited the list and removed it,
thanks for noticing  Kiss

Even if you clearly write that is a scam, post it as unclickable in the code tag, there will always be someone who will ignore it all and visit these websites. I have seen such cases, they have even "invested" some money.

otherwise, the forum does not like referral promotion in the post even when something is completely legal, and especially when is a scam.
4992  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: a very, very very big cryptoconis scam on: August 23, 2021, 11:18:46 AM
I haven't joined any of these sites, but are all these sites from the same scammers? I must say that the scammers are very dedicated to their work as scammers, I had seen it all, but this is the first time I see a scammers with so many sites. how does he manage to manage all these sites? does he have any time in the real world? anyway you did a good job

Last question: since you are new to this forum, how did you discover this forum?
hey
first i think it's a group of scammers not only one person, all these sites were registered on 2020,2021 (you can check that using any whois tool)
i discovered this forum when i was doing some researchs to gather informations about the scam

there are a couple of software vendors, who sell such scripts with many website templates. So, anyone with $50 + $10 per domain can buy it and run his own money doubler, cloud mining or however they call this type of business.

I made a similar list earlier, some of which you found is already there [SCAM ALERT] List 470+ scam websites

I will request you to put all the links on code which will be safer for our new forum users who are not well informed about fake crypto investments.

Follow these steps to put your links on code view;

  • Click edit Button
  • Select all the links together
  • Press above from the text box

or you can directly copy this from here,

Code:
..

some of these links contain referral codes, I suggest that part be removed as well, we don't want that kind of advertising here, although they are not clickable.
4993  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptosPortal 2.0 Community on: August 23, 2021, 10:56:37 AM
At CryptosPortal we use a site so far with two official languages ENGLISH AND SPANISH, this allows all information to be filtered better, here we believe that the best source is the same people, always updated . Now imagine the possibilities.

I guess it's your native language Spanish, but still, I think you should need to separate these two languages because this way it seems pretty messy. I'm not sure if it's a mistake to see more than one language on the same page.
a practice that is never done when creating a website plus it's not what Google and other search engines likes to see when ranking a site.
in this way, you target a very wide speaking area, but it also introduces confusion for native English and Spanish visitors.

you should definitely think of some better design. too many colours that are not aligned with each other. it is the basis and should be done well at the very beginning. As you add new content and new features any change will basically be very difficult and complicated.
4994  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I developed a free job listing website for crypto related jobs on: August 23, 2021, 10:36:31 AM
I will add some examples for people to know how a job listing will look like.

You're also right when you say there are lots of other websites of this type. But AFAIK, they are all commercial products. Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate. A bit like bitcoin, no? haha

add some active job offers, not just an example.
otherwise, not all are commercial, there are free and very popular and this will be a serious competition for you. For example on Reddit there are several channels there, but I will leave only one example
https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/

I am not sure what Pomp is doing but I see that you are charging $199 by default for posting job offer (that can be changed manually), but is it possible to create job offer for free or for $1?

IDK where you find info about charging, perhaps the owner deleted it after your suggestion. Charging anything in this case, especially when business is at the beginning makes no sense. Who will pay one single cent to post a job offer on a fresh new started service, with zero reach?
perhaps in the near future, he can expect the possibility to charge listing renewal or "stay on top" options and that's all.
4995  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] CEX.IO suspend your account by country on: August 22, 2021, 04:36:40 PM
...

This is the second similar complaint here about the temporary suspension of the account due to the validation of your user. yes, it is understandable if you want to be sure of legality and that you do not want to risk any kind of AML/KYC rule violation. I believe that there are other similar cases that have not reached this forum.
obviously, there is a problem here.

CEX, whether you have planned or are planning to do something about it to avoid further complications? maybe your verification methodology is not good and therefore a long verification period.
a good reputation is very difficult to acquire, but it is very easy to spoil. you should definitely introduce some restrictions for new users and those without KYC, and this must be clearly indicated upon registration.

Holding someone's else funds and keeping in suspense really seems worrying. 0.76BTC is not a small amount for most people and you should need to be careful.

4997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: I started a porn site that pays you in Bitcoin. on: August 17, 2021, 10:53:17 PM
Yup, you read that right. The idea gave birth late one night watching porn. "What if I could make money watching porn?". So, then I started development on PornHash.io. We share a bit of revenue with the people coming back everyday. We all get off together! Let me know what you think of the site: PornHash.io

So, if I understand correctly, you will payout your visitors from ads earnings. Right?
Is this service brand new or do you already have some "customers"? I would like to see some statistics about potential earnings from there. Also, how do you convert profit from ads I guess it's from fiat ads network into crypto in such a short time.

Before you guys crucify me, we decided to use Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin due to the fees but we are looking into lightning possibly.

No one will crucify you if you doing legit business, even if it's from the adult industry. I personally think that the involvement of the porn industry in crypto will bring more hype than Ellon Musk.
Currently, the Bitcoin transaction fee it's not that expensive, you should definitely integrate it.
4998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guide on bitcointalk on: August 17, 2021, 10:36:44 PM
Study the Meta board I think it is very useful to newbies to look at that board especially the sticky topics in there that is where all the essential information on the forum is. I recommend reading the trading discussion sub forum and reputation which will teach you about the things which will get you negative trust most of it is common sense but always worth a read.

have you Zedpastin ever heard of an unofficial forum rule "burstposting"?
it's a way of spam posting when someone writes a post every 2 minutes, and each post is mostly offtopic. have you ever noticed such a poster?
4999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you put away your arrogance? on: August 17, 2021, 10:28:32 PM
Sorry to say this, but your friend sounds stupid, backward and ignorant.

He is just uninformed and had limited thinking. I know that type of people, and here it is very difficult to influence to change the way of thinking.
I stopped explaining to such people anything related to Bitcoin/crypto a long time ago. A pure waste of time.
5000  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum Skills on: August 17, 2021, 10:20:57 PM
Please, is it to early/late for me to start somewhere? I am not that comfortable with only posting and contributing texually here. I need to solve technical problems.
Please, what are the basic steps I will take, what are the basic skills I need now that are not that financial intensive. Because I am still under the trauma and/or defeat of fraud/scam before I joined this forum.

It's not too early and also it's not too late to start here. it's probably the right time for you, don't worry about it.
you must first have a certain passion for crypto and cryptocurrencies, that is basic. try to connect your presence on the forum with some of your personal interests, something you are well acquainted with.
like the example you gave, some users had design skills, and they present themselves in this way. the other group is the news in data handling so they post various statistics here.
be sure not to hesitate to seek any help here or some explanation. This community is very generous with the sharing of knowledge.
