This is one huge bs, PC are not getting cheaper, AMAZON has all electronic covered they all soaring high. Try something that’s not sold in amazon. Smiley Energy? Yup amazon sell energy too, it’s soaring too. Name an item that ain’t listed on amazon and not inflated price?

===

Not sure where you are getting your information from but this wrong. Just because we are getting new PC parts every year doesn't mean you have to buy them. A PC easily works for many years, you don't need a CPU or GPU every other year. If you look at all full PC setup in general you
see that prices are declining. At the moment you are getting a Full PC Setup with Monitor for less than 300€ easily. How can you argue that prices are not dropping?

And Energy prices are inflating? Wrong

4983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: November 01, 2020, 06:35:27 PM
As I couldn't complete the question in the title, below it is:

How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but could not get it into the site because either the fee was low based on that time or they credit it after some confirms. Fee has become the talk of crypto nerds and everyone thinks that it is already so high. What will happen when price is high and miners increase fee, mempool is clogged and you have your favorite winning bet available right there on the table but your btc is in your wallet and you want it to reach the gambling site anyhow to bet and win? Give your valuable opinions as they matter.

I think in the most cases when the fees are high, than the transaction should be processed pretty quickly. But if the transaction gets stuck somehow and the time is pressing, I would try to pay an even higher fee just to get it through. Like in your example above, if there is a nice match I want to bet own and I am pretty sure of winning then it should be no problem to pay a bit higher fee. Because my winnings should easily offset these fees. If the fees are higher than my winnings, than of course it's not worth it.
4984  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: November 01, 2020, 04:38:03 PM
Stress is almost inevitable to humans as we don’t get tire of working, pursuing goals and discharging our daily activities. So here is the question, HOW DO YOU HANDLE STRESS?
Meditating. Thats the remedy for me - it helps work through stress, get rid of it afterwards and moreover it changes your brain chemistry in way for you to be more calm on daily basis

I used to do meditating before big exams during university. It definitely helped to reduce stress in my oponuin
Unfortunately I stopped doing it dir years now. To relief stress these days I mostly count on sports, like riding bicycle. Now in winter it gets a bit harder with outdoor sports so I switched to reading some history books.
4985  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 01, 2020, 04:34:13 PM
Honestly I didn't expect a second lock down to happen, I thought the government's would try to. Hold off until next year to not further damage the economies. In Europe the corona relief find us still not ratified by the national parliaments. So there is a lot of money already missing where people are counting on it. The second lock down is going to make things worse, probably many of the small countries are not going to survive that.
4986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 01, 2020, 04:28:55 PM
Safe bets yes, match fixing should be safe, but that is not something you wanna do.

And if you look for safe bets, it really depends on what you definition of the word safe is, basically no bet is safe that is why it is a bet Smiley

Bet with most chances are 1.01 but then you have to make a lot of bets to get a profit and hope you wont get hit.

I agree, the only real safe bet would be a fixed match, but that is illegal and brings in other forms of risk. What if people find out the match gets forfit? All the money could be seized by authorities from the bookmaker. In my opinion betting on fixed matches is too risky. Better to spread  out risk across multiple bets and get lucky.

✅ Liquid - Mudgolems: Liquid ML
Nice pick.

Who do you think will win the finals?

Navi or Liquid?

Liquid are slight favourites, but I do think NaVi can be competitive too. For me, good bet is Natus Vincere +1.5 hadicap. Finals are best of 5 which means NaVi needs to take at least 2 maps. You can find good odds on that.

I am also a NaVi fan, great team. They definitely have shot at this one. 2 maps should be possible if they don't choke again. Last time I lost some money with NaVi but I think I will go with them again.

Masks are stupid... no matter where you wear them. Watch the first 5 minutes >>> https://www.bitchute.com/video/rlWESmrijl8Q/.

Cool

Believe it or not, in our city you are obliged to wear both a face mask and face shield the most foolish thing you heard this year. If you don't do so, you will gonna pay some fined if you get caught. about 500 pesos equivalent to 10$. what a foolish thing to implement, right?

https://issuu.com/mindanaoexaminernewspaper/docs/mindanaoexaminer391

Wearing a face mask and a face shield on top of each other sounds a bit extreme. But honestly what is so bad with wearing a mask? It hurts no one and could make a mask at home so don't even have to pay money for it. Imagine you can save 1 life by wearing a mask. Wouldn't it be worth it?
4989  Other / Off-topic / Re: ATTITUDE IS NOT EVERYTHING. LIFE IS. on: November 01, 2020, 04:06:38 PM
"The best way to miss life is to have a certain attitude towards it. Attitudes originate in the mind, and life is beyond mind. Attitudes are our fabrications, our prejudices, our inventions. Life is not our fabrication; on the contrary, we are just ripples in the lake of life."

-Rajneesh

That is a very quote, I like it a lot. Attitudes can easily hinder us from doing things we would might enjoy. It is best for all of us to keep an open mind and try to avoid stereotypes. We shouldn't live our lifes like other people classify it for us.
4990  Economy / Economics / Re: What are they hiding from us? on: November 01, 2020, 04:04:03 PM

They said inflation rate is about 1%
Do you think anyone will believe it’s really 1% since may be 200 years ago??
Then for a 200 years to inflated price by thrice is pretty good.
What give?? What are they hiding?

It depends on how you look at thing. The inflation rate looks at the average expenditures of an average person. There is a basket of things which include a lot of different things. So comparing the inflation number from today against 50 or 100 years ago can be very misleading because we buy things today that weren't available in the past. Look at electronics like PCs and Mobile phones, it's very hard to compare these prices to the past but we see that electronics have been falling in prices a lot. Also the energy prices dropped severly in the last 10 years. So a rise in food prices is easily offset by other things, that is why the general inflation is so low.
4991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: November 01, 2020, 08:16:54 AM
^ @OP, the thread is really mind-blowing, most of it is new to me. I can't even believe some of them like the number 44 never it came to my mind of doing such a thing just for gambling so I searched him right away on the internet and found his photos with a breast implanted until today,  so I supposed that he enjoyed it because he didn't remove it anymore lol. But at the end of the day, it still proves to me that people differ in their perception when it comes to gambling. However, I am not against those people who are able to do such hilarious things for gambling probably they just love gambling so much.
And also they are looking for something to release their bad emotion when they lose(in which happening most of the time lol.
People are born to be creative and specially in things that they really love most,so gamblers do the same thing in making their Mind blowing activities.

Good that i am not a Total gambler so i don't have to do such thing lol.

These are mainly extreme gambling facts, with more than 1 in a million chance of happening. Most of us gamblers here, even if we are total gamblers, will never experience such extreme things. I think we as gambler can find such things entertaining, but should never use these as goals. It's only for a lucky few reserved. For me personally I am just aiming for a some average winnings in gambling, if I can get a vacation out of it one day would already be a start. It's most important to manage our expectations in gambling.
4992  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 01, 2020, 07:57:28 AM

the goverments have plan to create their own cryptocurrenicies, so the btc and eth was just testing currencies to see how it works and get people to use with cryptocurrenies?
first whats wrong with fiat currency? the cash is works good nothing wrong with this.
second how they are going to control how much to issue the currency and how the value will be backed?
and by who the transparanscy is guranteed?

Nothing is wrong with FIAT, but the central banks see the rise in crypto currencies and want to profit off it. They are aware that they can't control all these coins online so they bring out there own coin. In my opinion the central bank crypto currencies are just another form of FIAT, they are another currency being controlled by the government. Time will tell but it doesn't seem likely that the usual crypto investors is going to switch from bitcoins into the central bank coins.

4994  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Huawei and China on: October 31, 2020, 06:54:54 PM
I am confused about Huawei, I do not understand why they want to launch a phone integrated with wallet for China’s central bank digital currency, the digital yuan. This is a clear evidence that the Chinese company is truly working with Chinese governments as claimed by US, this is distinct and obvious. Check the news below

Why not decentralized cryptocurrencies like bitcoin Huawei should support because companies supposedly not to be bias, why already creating a phone that will support digital yuan that is not already created yet?

I agree with you that it appears as has Huawei strong ties to the Chinese government. The Chinese communist party probably wants to boost the digital yuan. But I don't think that the average investors will fall for such plans. Just because sucha wallet is installed on the phone, doesn't really mean that all the mobile users are going to use the wallet. The main focus of the average crypto investors is in independence from governments and Fiat currencies in my opinion. It would be better for Huawei to use a well established crypto coin like bitcoins for their wallets.
4995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where else should I travel? on: October 31, 2020, 06:08:49 PM
In Europe we have now the second wave of corona being even more severe than the first one. It seems that many countries will have to do another lockdown, even though some countries don't call it lockdown anymore. But in the end travelling doesn't seem so good anymore for now. I had a long weekend planned in a spa hotel but cancelled due to the high corona cases. For the rest of the year I will not be travelling anymore I guess and just check out the area around my home town.
4996  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ? on: October 31, 2020, 03:59:05 PM
Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ?

I honestly just don't understand bitcoin as a financial instrument/asset ,all financial books tell me that i should never buy bitcoin ..bitcoin it's mind f...king

Finance ,economy, investing books need to be rewritten as all they say in those books ,bitcoin is doing the opposite ...if btc goes 20k Warren Buffet is dead to me ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTMj4cg64yw

How is it possible ? ( beside whales pumping the price )

Why shouldn't bitcoins be at such decent prices? Many people use bitcoins as currency when buying products online, or just gamble. Almost all of the big casinos use bitcoins as a form to deposit or withdraw funds. I don't see any real reason why bitcoins should be not worth so much. In my opinion bitcoins are actually going to rise even higher next year.

4999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 30, 2020, 12:18:38 PM
Yes, I have always lost more in the recovery process. I had always played harder to cover the damage, and the little damage started to snowball. I no longer play in the days I lost.

Much better not to continue than to lose more, if you already experienced things like this, more or less you'll be able to choose the right move to take, but for some reason you'll still suffer the same mistake, losing more in the process of trying to cover your losses, better to have limits and stop when you already reach  it, there's no reason to keep trying call  it for the day and accept the defeat.

This very hard to do because most of us gambler tend to follow a strategy which usually requires us to keep playing when we lose. I think one I'd the most common strategies is a martingale approach that would require us to increase our bet everytime we lose. So in theory a big loss could just be recovered with one more bet. But of course this could be the downward spiral that makes us lose even more money. Personally I find myself starting with too large bets initially which makes recovering even more difficult when I have a bad beat.
5000  Economy / Economics / Re: Free rent and no mortgage - new stimulus from US government!!!! on: October 30, 2020, 10:49:19 AM
Many people are losing their jobs due to the virus and many are spending their days in despair there is no free rent and no mortgage from the us government to help the people any tenant can invest all the money they have saved without buying a home on the stock market. This includes deposits and other expenses their rent has been waived the us government has also been able to ensure the economic security of the people apart from this two other important issues are the presence of improved health services in a state system and the ability of the people to avail those services.

I think now with winter approaching and the second corona wave recking havoc, we need to find different ways to support the people in need. If the government would step in to provide housing for the poor people that could definitely help. Also if the government continues to just give money to the big companies it's forgetting many other people. The government needs to do more for the little person.
