501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to convert ETH to BTC? on: November 14, 2017, 04:07:58 AM
if you want to convert your eth into btc, use MEW (myetherwallet), theres and swap option on that MEW wallet from ETH to BTC or vise versa. but if you want more options, you can use one of the trusted exchanges online like HITBTC, POLONIEX, BITTREX all you have to do is to register on that site then send an ETH to convert onto Bitcoin or vice versa.
502  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful when you received this email! on: November 14, 2017, 03:16:35 AM
Few minutes ago I received an email from Coinbase said that someone was trying to log into my account

I didn't careful so I clicked "Cancel Request"

After that I realized that it's a fake email cause the real email only mailed by    amazonses.com, but luckily I set up my Coinbase account with highest level secure with both Google Authenticator and phone SMS

I just want to let everyone know about this and be careful.

This is the first time I received this one.

yeah same here, i already experienced this a few days ago i think, at that time i also received an email that exactly what OP posted here, and the ip address that are requesting to access my coinbase is different from what im using, it is from somewhere in CANADA, so i decide to change my password and confirm it from my gmail, then suddenly the change password panel hang up and repeatedly refreshing my browser, i thought that the problem is just my gadget so i close my browser. then i read this thread so im worried about what will happen in my coinbase. so i decided to transfer my all fund into the other btc wallet just to secure my bitcoin,
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i have 10 Bitcoin I can do this on: November 14, 2017, 02:15:40 AM
You could pump the price of some unpopular coin with your purchases, and generate fake volume, but people would be wary if there's no reasons for it to have picked up. Controlling a coin that no one trades is not too different from owning monopoly money.

You exactly correct that i can pump up unpopular coins. But no cocept no body will
invest al all. But for the betterment of future 10 btc is enogh

its enough to take an effect on the altcoin which you been choose, but to take control the whole coins in the market? i think 10 bitcoin is not enough to manipulate the whole entire altcoins youve chosen, you can earn more profits from that idea, but take Note be careful on the altcoin youve choose because most of the altcoin are shitcoin that can be soon to scam you.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: November 14, 2017, 01:43:45 AM
Hello everyone, recently there has been a lot of panic on this forum due to the big price change of Bitcoin (as it always happens). Understandably, many people are confused and worried as they have lost thousands in their value, especially if they have bought higher than the current price. But as someone who has been into Bitcoin for 1.5 years (not too long, I know) I want to advice to newcomers to simply relax. Huge price swing were always a part of Bitcoin, so there's nothing extraordinary here and the worst thing you can do is to make panic trades. Basically, there are two main approaches to Bitcoin trading - you either hodl it, meaning you never sell it until it reached "the moon", or you are actively trading it to get profit from volatility. So, if you believe in Bitcoin's technology and don't experience as a trader, I suggest you to not touch your coins - Bitcoin always tends to increase in its value in the long run.

im one of this suggestion, im not enough expert about this but i have more experienced had done about those price fall before, i already experience several dip before and nothing change on that, my faith is in bitcoin what ever happens and even i experienced some dip before i always hoping that bitcoin will soon to pump and thats it, bitcoin reveals its own power to me what ever happens, even its like digging into deep, bitcoin proves to me that it can stand out and pump after the dip. so i strongly recommend that what ever it takes hold your precious bitcoin because bitcoin will always pump up.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins fight on: November 14, 2017, 01:08:11 AM
Thank you!

the picture is really great!

I've a question: i've never heard about ebtc. It seem a eth token: why is it on that pictures?
Because it's the erc-20 token version of Bitcoin

Stop shilling that shitcoin. All the e-copies (eBtc, eXMR, eWhateverTheFuck) have been created mostly by the same guy. That got rich. Off of doing jack shit. Well, he wrote a couple lines of code which probably took 10-20 minutes.

Absolutely no, eBtc not a company or personal coin. eBitcoin is community, also the dev core is a part of eBotcoin community.
eBitcoin is an serious competitor for BTC,
dev will launch WP, RM, add more merchants by community (until now alredy 4-5 merchants), new application... All drive by community trust.

"eBitcoin is an serious competitor for BTC" , if these true? how do we use ebtc? the adoptation of these ebtc world wide? bitcoin had a restriction on some other country even they know the benefits that can give this bitcoin, so how about this ebtc? do you think these altcoin (eBTC) shall be accepted world wide soon? this thread is only supporting that token eBTC and nothing more.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may ban bitcoin in 2018 on: November 14, 2017, 12:48:17 AM
There is a news that may be India will ban bitcoin in 2018. Make your guess will India really ban it or not?
News article link
https://qz.com/1121363/no-bitcoins-for-payments-and-settlements-says-the-reserve-bank-of-india/

as i know the government of india has also invested in bitcoin, so they cannot just banned bitcoin on their own country, india recently accepted bitcoin, if this news is true, why do they invest in bitcoin when they suddenly banned bitcoin after investing on it. this is just a rumors and more speculation, this not going true.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart people have bought a bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 12:00:19 AM
BTCI have to sell all assets, stock, sell the house, all buy coins, within three years, killing one coin will not sell, this is my confidence in bitcoin.
What do you think about the growth of bitcoin? Grin

you are totally a smart person. Grin by loosing those assets and convert it into one coins which is "bitcoin" is a very smart decision. you did a good job. the bitcoin growth as of now is getting bigger and better, bitcoin grew from those who totally support bitcoin and do believe that bitcoin can change the whole entire world by adopting this bitcoin as a digital currency in the near future. aside from that more and more business now are getting more involve in bitcoin so its no doubt that investing in bitcoin by all means is very useful in the future.
508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin slides by over $1,000 in less than 48 hours on: November 13, 2017, 11:32:44 PM
sliding price for over $1000 is not normally happen if theres no huge pump happened. from $4k+ bitcoin price pumped upto $7k+ so dont expect too much that there will be no price drop happens. bitcoin price jump for more than $3k and drop for only $1k, this jump totally affects all people/investors/bitcoin hodler and gain/have more negative thinking for just this drop. lol  Grin how many times that bitcoin proved/proven it self that its own price can be more value than before?
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH WILL PUMP AGAIN WITH IN 24HRS on: November 13, 2017, 11:11:51 PM
ITS LOOKS LIKE BCH WILL PUMP AGAIN WITH IN 24HRS AND BTC WILL DROP TO 5800$ AND IF IT BREAKS 5800$ MAY BE SEEN 5500-5300$ LOW

do you think that your BCH will pump again? you are 100% not sure on that. even theres a possibility that your bch will pump thats, only a speculation/prediction. not all speculation/prediction are constant, i do believe and in my own speculation BCH is like a short term value not for long term. like ethereum. it will pump more but suddenly its dropped and fix its own price Grin and its never pump again. like this BCH soon to be.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 10:51:58 PM
i only believe in bitcoin, even theres a lot of altcoin pumped well on the market, i didnt choose one of them to be exchange/switch on my very own bitcoin, now bitcoin price is falling not just to make us panic, but it is the time to purchase more and hold. fall into bch is a joke and to believe on it is a mess. Grin
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin slides by over $1,000 in less than 48 hours on: November 13, 2017, 10:23:44 PM
LONDON (Reuters) - Bitcoin dropped below $7,000 on Friday to trade more than $1,000 down from an all-time high hit on Wednesday, as some traders dumped it for a clone called Bitcoin Cash, sending its value up around a third.
Bitcoin has been on a tear in recent months, with a vertiginous sevenfold increase in value since the start of the year that has led to many warnings the bitcoin market - now worth well over $100 billion - has become a bubble that is about to burst.

It reached a record high of $7,888 around 1800 GMT on Wednesday after a software upgrade planned for next week that could have split the cryptocurrency in a so-called “fork” was suspended.

But it has quickly retreated from that peak, falling to as low as $6,718 around 1330 GMT on Friday. It later recovered a touch to trade around $6,880 by 1645 GMT, but that was still down almost 4 percent on the day.

dont worry about this dropping moment, i think bitcoin price goes down because of the cancellation of the fork, otherwise some whales are went into the beach by switching into bch for them to getting more profits on it, i think after that event bitcoin price will goes back soon into its normal price and it may pump again as like what happen before.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH WILL PUMP AGAIN WITH IN 24HRS on: November 13, 2017, 09:59:55 PM
wow too many BCH lover here Grin how long it will last? i think bch will last after whales got what they want on that bch, enjoy this moment and do more profits this will be the last pump on the whole entire history of bch Grin, bitcoin dump and price goes down as of now because it will preparing to pump again with a big hug. Tongue
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin energy consumption - unsustainable? on: November 13, 2017, 09:39:38 PM
Currently, bitcoin network consumes 26 TWh a year or 250 kWh per single transaction and is growing at a rate of over 1% daily (according to this website https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption.)

250 kwh (single transaction!) is now roughly the same to to what an average home/household uses in a month.

Is this really sustainable?

If bitcoin should grow even more, how much power will be used just to run it?

oh so expensive for a single transaction only? i have no idea on that part, thats a big wasting of energy to continue, if bitcoin grew ever more, they need to provide a solar power or other alternate energy source so supply they energy needs and not to waste more energy to be less paid.

515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides crypto, what would be the safest way to hold your money? on: November 07, 2017, 11:31:46 PM
Like most of ppl on this forum, I believe in the monetary crash to come and I want to take my savings out of the bank. I invested in about 7 different crypto already but only a certain amount that I can allow myself to loose in case of a crypto collapse. Not brave enough (or crazy) yet to put all my savings in crypto.
But I definitely want zero $ on my bank account soon, and I was wondering what would be the safest way to hold your money (buy lands, invest in gold, hide it under the bed, invest it a myriad of different businesses...). Thoughts?

I would like to suggest you to invest your money by buying lands,  because the value of lands are getting bigger every year.  And you have a lot of things can do in that land,  like you can  earn from that by producing some crops to sell or commercial building for rent. You can also earn from that.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying using BTC on: November 07, 2017, 05:57:33 AM
Why dont google, youtube pay us with bitcoins?

in my opinion, its because not all country are accepted this bitcoin to be use. so why would "google and youtube" pays you if your country is prohibited this crypto-currency? and also i think they are not a bitcoin user to implement this as a mode of payment for you to made one. so the main stream there are some reason that those site are not paying because, one of that is they are not a bitcoin user, and else some other country are not yet accepted/banned this bitcoin.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like to invest! on: November 07, 2017, 05:15:02 AM
Is it to late to start know in 2017 to invest in virtual coins and is any advice for "dummies" around here?

i believe that its not to late to invest if you want to earn in this bitcoin, every moment bitcoin grows and no one can stop on that, no perfect timing to invest in bitcoin, all time is a perfect timing to invest, so even you are a newbie in this industry you are always welcome to do so, like me, at my first time, i have more doubts about bitcoin, but all of that doubt are gone when i receive my unstoppable profits every month, even i invest a half of my monthly salary into bitcoin, my earning are not bad. i think its enough to me to fulfill all my future needs,
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Giants E-commerce start to accept BTC? on: November 07, 2017, 04:33:30 AM
Here it's the point.
I want to buy in Amazon or Alibaba something and pay in BTC.
Do you ever think this is gonna happen or not?

I mean, little and local e-shop are supporting nowadays the Criptocurrency Gateway; why instead do they seem to be late adopters?

And if yes, when do you think it will happen?

you says that "little and local e-shop are supporting nowadays the Criptocurrency Gateway". so little and locan e-shop are willing to take a risk with this cryto currency and adopted it on their own business as a mode of payment to take a chance to get involve in bitcoin and earn much by doing that. so the GIANTS E-COMMERCE are not taken yet this big opportunity to implement to their own business, i think they decided to observe first the flow of this bitcoin inside/outside world. and i think this gonna be implement soon for those GIANTS e-commerce to adopt bitcoin,
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing all our Money in bitcoin is good or Investing little portion of saving on: November 07, 2017, 04:10:02 AM
for me i would choose to invest with 50%-50% in bitcoin, because i dont want to invest too much that i cannot afford to lose in the end. i will not be able to earn a great deal if there is a huge loss to the end, so i decide to invest with a half of my money, not for few little savings or a huge amount of my money.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how long have you been holding for? on: November 06, 2017, 11:57:00 AM
until i reach my goals that i settle, i have a few amount of bitcoin and its worth around $4000+ before i purchase it. so now the price of bitcoin grew and my profits now is about 400%. but i dont want to claim it, honestly i always put additional amount of bitcoin every month, because i want to earn more than i expected. my goals is to reach/hold my bitcoin for more than 2-3 year from now. what ever happens on that time id settle, i will not cut it even it soon to loose.
