WOW  Grin
Vou esperar 24 horas, para verificar se há ganhos na taxa de Hardware Errors, que até agora era de 1%, com ventilação forçada.

Eu ando a minerar (ver a minha assinatura). Mas por enquanto é um hobby, pois tenho gasto muitos BTC e recebido poucos BTC.
505  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Asteroid -- a new Mac mining client on: July 01, 2013, 02:15:39 PM
Same... sent another feedback.

Strange things are happening with the trackpad of the laptop, stopping to work when Asteroid is mining... If I stop Asteroid, the trackpad works again.
506  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Asteroid -- a new Mac mining client on: July 01, 2013, 11:43:18 AM
Greetings.

The new version still aborts with the "Error -54". Very strange. Already sent feedback with debugging info.

Great work.
509  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: June 30, 2013, 08:19:14 AM
Fantastic job, Neil!

You included all info commented in this thread! And I still have miner.php page. 5 STARS! Donation time went to 20 minutes.

Now you only need to include the update function in a future version, as a meaning to keep the graph info between distros... (or a web page backup/restore of graphics data and/or configuration)  Grin

Congratulations for your outstanding work.
Best regards.

At 6:25 PM (PDT), the store was opened up for orders of USB Block Erupters. The initial inventory of 800 units has almost sold out as of this post, and is probably in backorder by the time you read it.

Units will begin shipping on Monday, July 1st. A new order has already been placed for additional Block Erupters which will hopefully arrive by July 5th.

512  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Brand New GUI Mining Program - Need Opinions on Bitcoin Mining Strategies on: June 29, 2013, 09:31:39 AM
Greetings, DoctorDoom.

I read your technical background... wow. You life till now could be written to a best selling book. But many times, Life is so unjust... noone deserves what you already suffered and are still suffering, with your health. And it's good to see that you never gave up having faith and taking your life and skills forward. Thank You so much for your life example.

Regarding your idea presented in this thread, it's fantastic. I'm a fan of GUI's and I do use one for mining, 50Miner.exe. This way, I can mine with 2 HP laptops and a desktop, all with AMD graphic cards and Windows 7 64 bits SP1, using DiabloMiner as engine. I also use a RaspberryPi with MinePeon 0.2.0, to mine with 2 USB Block Eruptors (for now, as you can see in my own forum signature).

I think that your programs will help me (and many others) to put away programs like the 50Miner GUI, as yours will surely include many features not seen in other mining software. But one area that needs to be explored after the initial project, is indeed the centralization. Winminer should have the possibility of securely connect to all Dominatrix Engines, via pre-configured ports, to be able to use those connections in a LAN or using the Internet to interconnect the several Engines (regardless of which operating system they run) to the Winminer program.

Also, as some of us need to have an idea of what is happening in our mining farms, it would be interesting to have a remote connection (probably a web interface) to the Winmine centralized program, from the work office. I'm an IT professional, connected to networks and OS's and I don't have problems manteining a connection to my computers @ home, when I'm at my work's office.

After all was said in this thread, I also recommend that you include a programmable mining configuration to yourself, for instance that I could configure the first N minutes of the day to mine for DoctorDoom's own pool, as a little monetary aid for your great effort to bringing us all a fantastic software. This idea is not mine, as MinePeon already has that feature and I defend it.

Good luck with your work and, if you need a beta-tester to try your engine & GUI, please do count with me.

Meanwhile, have a great week-end, my friend.

No news from friedcat or yxt. Probably next week!

I hate all this waiting time  Cry

Me too, BitAddict... when you still had some USB Gizmos, I didn't have BTC. Now that I have some BTC, there are no USB Gizmos (at the new price).
514  Local / Portugal / Re: Portugal meeting!!! on: June 28, 2013, 09:42:38 PM

Thanks. I saw it.

I will be selling a little lower than yxt for 1 and 10 units. Still waiting confirmation.

Any news? I want to buy 2 or 3 USB Block Eruptors (one must be red! Grin).
517  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mac and 2 USB block eruptors on: June 28, 2013, 11:19:30 AM
Thank you so id I simply download the mining software, plug in the ASIC miners then will I be able to select them  through the mining software?

Regards,
Matthew
Supposedly, the software will detect the USB Block Eruptors. But I didn't tried it yet, as I use a Raspberry Pi and MinePeon to mine with my 2 USB Block Eruptors.
518  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mac and 2 USB block eruptors on: June 28, 2013, 08:19:22 AM
I have 2 USB block eruptors on the way to use with my macbook pro. I have never mined before. Would anyone be kind enough as to tell me the steps I need to take please? i.e which is the best miner to download, which is the best pool for small fish and how to get everything working please?

Regarding the software for mining, see this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=214268.0;all

I personally use the TripleMining pool and I like it: http://ct1aic.triplemining.com
519  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy Batch 2] AVALON CHIPs 6030 left @0.082BTC + K16 Miner Assembly 60EUR on: June 27, 2013, 09:05:44 PM
Hi, just wanted to inform all the buyers in batch 2 that all the organizers of the EU AVALON ASIC chips groups buys are in conversations to join forces so that our current batches can be closed sooner and place the order over the weekend.

Zefir will serve as the collector of the funds and buy the chips for all. The conditions of the buy will stay exactly the same.

I believe this is on the interest of our the involved in batch 2 and hope all agree with this initiative.

Cheers

I agree, of course. Many thanks for your kind support, bizwoo, and good luck to Us all.
