502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 08, 2018, 10:15:12 AM
Bitcoin will still be the leading cryptocurrency. A slowing down of its price does not translate to the death of the currency. You watch and see and discover that your analysis is not holistic and all encompassing.

504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: January 08, 2018, 10:01:30 AM
The non-acceptance of this revolution called cryptocurrency by governments who have lost out in joining early can be a major hindrance to the use of it by a holder. Another great risk is loss of integrity or a compromised state of the sites holding the coins for the owners. and lastly another challenge is the devaluation of bitcoins in the event of a war or inability to cash out during a major crisis because of a huge transaction or the inability to be able to use he internet.
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of 2018, bitcoin $ 40,000 or more? on: January 08, 2018, 09:55:03 AM
That the bitcoin price is yet to hit the $20k mark doesn't mean it won't eventually do so.
Its the beginning of the year yet and more is yet to come.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: January 07, 2018, 06:32:05 PM
Yes and no. yes because the standard to refer to great cash as the bitcoin price rises becomes easier to do so. However, because Gold is a precious metal, It is a physical reference to the fiat currency holders who don't believe yet in the digital currency.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: January 07, 2018, 06:27:45 PM

We are not. The folks with the bitcoin blue chip companies are. When you look at what you have from your view. You feel you have it all until you view things from a broader view then you see that you haven't begun.

Government will never be able to put tax on bitcoin, because it is digital currency. They way only government will ever be able to do that is if the government pays you for services using bitcoin.  other than this, that's not gonna see the light of the day.

When I first heard of bitcoin, it was in 2014. Didn't quit attach much importance to it as the price was not mentioned in that article. But when i became interested in bitcoin, its price hovered around $120 -$150.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: January 07, 2018, 06:05:13 PM
The choice is still before you. The idea of making a decision when your mind is not stable is what i will not advice. please do not take a decision until you have a clear mind. It is not even about making the right decision. Clarity of mind is important
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: January 07, 2018, 05:50:41 PM
Avoid Phising sites as much as possible. Do not click on online adverts. Detest them and you will be free from these kinds of losses.
Stay strong.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 07, 2018, 05:47:40 PM
The word 'poor' is a relative word. If, however, the word poor here is used to denote those who lack the very basics of life then, what they will need will be a charity fund or trust fund to cater adequately for these needs. It follows therefore, that bitcoin will not be a solution to their problem. If you give the poor a bitcoin, because they lack knowledge, they will not even know how to access the funds or even sell it at the prevailing price but will jump at whatever is offered. So the answer is a certain no for this state of persons

517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is good that ICOs keep coming frequently? on: January 07, 2018, 05:13:22 PM
The answer is double edged and it will be hard to answer a 100% yes or 100% no. Think deeply and you will understand.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin, how can I get started? on: January 07, 2018, 05:03:38 PM
The best place to start is to begin with reading about the history of bitcoin and the man who introduced the concept using his whitepaper.
Get a thorough knowledge of what and how the digital currency runs. It is always good to have a robust knowledge of what you are going into and then attempt crossing the ocean
Welcome aboard.

Nakamoto Satoshi was a pseudonymous name used by the inventor of the bitcoin. The FBI arrested several Nakamotos to quiz and find who was the real one.
Forget it. He was smart.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of Bitcoin forks on: January 07, 2018, 04:05:36 PM
The forks come as a result of the diversification of the values of coins. forks bring a split in uses of the purposes to which they an be put to. keep still and put to use of the coins generated by the forks.
Best wishes
