There are 5000+ BTC for sale on Huobi for 2900 CNY or less, 120 CNY (20$) above the spread.
On the other hand, the bid side below 2760 is hidden, apparently because there are zillions of tiny bids between 2770 and 2775 CNY (and only in that range). Could it be on purpose? If truth is being hidden, it must be ugly...
Jorge your fear mongering is cute. Some call it "cute," and others call it "whacky." ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Others call it "describing facts" and making "well-founded inferences."

Well you didn't angrily direct the guy to another thread and tell him to STFU with his FUD and stop asking stupid questions that have been asked ad nauseam, so you're more the catalyst for my response than the target. For all the marketing some of these people do, you'd think they'd have something actually relevant to say when presented with questions, even if it is the 100th time it's been asked over the course of several years. To expect a person new to bitcoin to read through years of posts just to maybe kinda sorta get an answer (but mostly they'll find more "LOOK AT PREVIOUS THREADS ASSHOLE" responses, it's like a daisy chain of bullshit) just pisses me the fuck off, especially when you consider it's asking someone to sort through a bunch of "CHOOOOO CHOOOO" and "SINGLE DIGITS INCOMING BAGHOLDERS" nonsense to find one little speck of a gem.
It's like, if it's so fucking obvious an answer, then why don't you just fucking spend 5 minutes of your time to save this poor guy 5 hours?
BTW, respect to you for the dignified and classy response.

I agree that the true capitulation phase hasn't even started. +1 I would also second that. Report suggests large porportion of us are Bitcoin "Bagholders" lol Can you guys explain what capitulation is. google tells me, "the action of surrendering or ceasing to resist an opponent or demand." so when you say capitulation phase, you mean that it would go down is this correct? ^bagholder.

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-detail-banking-setbacks-at-us-task-force-hearing/Annemarie Tierney, general counsel and legal EVP for SecondMarket, told the panel that the high-risk profiling recently cost the company a long-time banking relationship.
She said:
“[The bank] gave us notice yesterday that they wanted to end that banking relationship, in part because our transitions around bitcoin, even though we’re not an MSB or an exchange, [it] raised our risk profile and it was too much work for them to figure it out.”
Tierney added that the termination was “very, very discouraging” for the company.
Game over. Sell before it's too late. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Bullish!!!1111 MOON!!!11 CCMF!!!!!11 Explain yourself.

How long has the total ask side on Stamp remained around 21,000 btc? Seems like at least 6 months, probably longer. Any theories as to why?
I own more BTC than 99.9% of the world population combined. Of course I am feeling lucky!
Well, I am still doubling my BTC holdings every day since December. Beat that! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) yea 0x2 still makes 0.. ^^ Thanks for that, Capt Obvious.

Very few are going to buy bitcoin so they can use it with eBay. This integration will cause nothing but increased selling pressure on exchanges.
Bearish news imo.
It's the calm before the storm. We'll be seeing some high volume trades soon enough, the question is whether it'll go up or down.
It's not going up absent a huge inflow of new fiat or Gox-like restriction on fiat withdrawals. So, down we go.
Why? Gox was "dying" for almost one year. Why it needs to be over with chinese exchanges in one month when everyone expect it?
Because your argument is nobody can predict when the boom will occur; therefore, it is not likely to occur now.
I think these markets are close to dying in China. The volume is now anemic. It's drying up.
New fiat can't get in, so we can't rally. And there is not a lot of motivation to sell as people watch and wait.
But how can this not end badly? The exchanges have little to no way to make money now. So, the only "news" coming down the pipeline can be bad news. And when that hits, people will have a reason to sell.
It looks like we might be flat and then - boom - large capitulation event.
Could be days, weeks or months away though.
Same story was with gox when we were hovering around $100. Lots of people expected boom, but noone knew the boom would come after $1200. Your logic is anemic.

They followed up with this video, but I don't know if this is it. Purse IO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B5bM8X-sLMBasically, Purse.IO has you add items to your Amazon wishlist and offer to pay for them in Bitcoin at a 10%-15% discount. Then, people in countries where bitcoins are not readily available like China and India sign in and buy the items for you and have them shipped to you. When you get the items, your bitcoins are sent to the foreign buyer. You get cheaper items. They get an easy way to buy bitcoins in a country where it's not easy. I'm sure Chinese authorities will be pleased.
Does anyone really expect chinese exchanges to adhere to their joint statement?
Could be foreigners removing bitcoin from exchanges because they do not have chinese bank accounts. Once this process is complete, buying pressure will rapidly decline and double single digit coins become a real possibility.
Bump for truthiness.

China's like 'wha what's going on over there in that crazy west with those 'bitcoiners'? Is everthing ok guys? A 1K sell? That's cute. I'm still pumping, ok?'
Pretty sure the Chinese pumpers are Westerners.
