With such high prices, you could at least take some gains, but the truth is we won't be able to see such a high return on investment as we saw in this year. From 10 dollars to around 1000 , 9900% return, ... Now it won't be easy to get easy money out of, whatever may be the future.

I never though of bitcoin as a way to get more fiat currency ...
Well then it's good that i 'm not answering to you but to the op. And statistically speaking there are much more chances that he cares about fiat than not.
Thanks for pointing it out, I totally missed that kind of mindset here.

It's a stupid way to see any investment, although you are right about the probability of the op (or anyone) carring more about having more fiat. Investing in something should not be seen as "doubling you money" instead "doubling your wealth", otherwise it's called speculation. Buying a home to rent out is investing, buying a home to cash out later is plain stupid unless you are a profesional (=gambling with other peoples money) speculator.

Well said!! Quoting some of Robert Kiyosaki's lines I see...

Just as a suggestion you could also use  IMPS for transfering funds , its 24/7 and money comes in instantly. This could minimise the time delays in associated tranactions. There are quite a few banks having this service, and its really instant Tongue
because I was not expecting it to be so fast.

Anyways just a suggestion.

Wow, thats an excellent margin, any stats about how many got sold??
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When would you invest 10k$ ? on: November 24, 2013, 07:45:52 AM
Thats why you need to put small small buy offers at different point, so that you can catch the dip. Its really a guess game, because market isn't stable to put indicators or charts to use. A little amount of fear gets the prices derailed..

I think there's a good chance of a correction below $700 in the next week, but there are no guarantees.

The typical behavior is a sharp rise, panic buying, a quick sharp dip, panic selling, then a quick recovery to a point somewhat higher than the previous base.  It's hard to predict, but we might see a peak around $1100, a dip down to $600, and a recovery to around $900.

You could place limit buys at $500, $600, and $700.  That gives you an excellent chance of getting in at least a bit, and the possibility of getting some of it at a great price.

Spread.. best all in all with this volatility.

And with other currency, i think its just risk = reward. They can rise hard and even fall hard if bitcoin get  hit.
Its just like Gold and silver, if you are familiar with them.

508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I sold out yesterday hoping it would fall.. on: November 23, 2013, 06:21:52 PM
Will it reach $500 again? haha, yes it will, you just need to be patient, okay? Too many novices pick a price point, and then cave after two days when things don`t go exactly as they planned. Well, guess what... it hardly ever goes as planned, even for seasoned veterans. You need to remove your emotions from the equation, make a plan and stick to it. Like others have said, don`t sell your entire holdings at once, likewise do not use your entire bankroll at once to buy. Create entry and exit points to buy/sell coins in segments and stick to them!
I'll +1 that...
You need a plan before entering any market.. This bitcoin is advantageous and disadvantageous at the same point.
As Average Joe catches with the hype and wants to profit from the opportunity, opportunity becomes obsolete and  most of the time they losses money..
And this time computer engg. and programmers are coming in the market just like heard of cows and getting slaughtered.
Best for you as all off the above people said. Risk what you can, and leave it ... otherwise learn.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy to make more coins out of your current coins? on: November 23, 2013, 06:14:03 PM
Just lost 0.3 BTC only because of Mtgox fees and some speculation. Sold 17~ Coins at 820$ and bought back at 822$. Nothing for me.

Dude you have to be patient ... its not like they will just jump without anything good news..

And also spread ... don't buy or sell just once as a whole.. buy or small amount to minimize any losses.. fees are % so they will be same.

Just my little bit
