501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: January 25, 2014, 12:32:59 AM
this is my first few days with multipool - i was loving it.

i am, like most others, pretty frustrated over this. at least update the message on the site. at this time a few now means few days. i havent even seen the site today, but im still hashing. no payouts here either.

site owner should speak up. - even though its obvious the site is hosed- human nature really needs some reassurance, after all we are trusting the guy with our resources.   additionally, site owner silence, coupled with my adhd will take me elsewhere shortly, even though ive enjoyed multipool, "aint nobody got time fer dat"  --illustrated by previous posts... im too afraid to search back the thread for similar incidents.. so ill just chill for a short time more before moving on...

i started seeing the message last night a few times, but it was gone before too long.

peace

Multipool pays about 70% of what I calculate using coinwarz.com and using conservative numbers for my hashrate (my WU). So although this is better than most pools stealing 50% of your coins, still at 30% may I as kwhat you LOVE about them?

I like and use them because its so easy to do multiple .bat files and switch between coins. Their multicoin strategy is not good though, I have no many fractions of useless coins I cant even get out of my account.

Plus multipool is the only pool I have seen that charges 25 DOGE coins for withrdrawl less than 1000 coins. WTF? No one does that.

So please enlighten WHAT DO YOU LOVE about them?
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NET] [Giveaway] Netcoin Foundation website received overhaul! on: January 25, 2014, 12:15:59 AM
Come help test out and give feedback on the new layout at Netcoin Foundation (May take a long time to load)

I will be giving away 10 NET to any new member that visits the forum and gives feedback on the layout, just link to a post that you made on this forum.

NET is constantly evolving, development and support have not stopped, but the price has fallen to its all time low on Cryptsy

Absolutely dislike it. Page jumps up and down and the pictures of the people stretched disproportionately with MEME being the chairman is just fkn absurd. Take those images off. People dont like their currency associated with some people. Look at Bitcoin and mystery Satoshi behind it. No one knows what he looks like. A classy coin has a page like WIKIPEDIA not like WDC looking page, thats a scam coin look. No large background images, no bullet points, no moving jumping jack website that takes a long time to load. In fact your introduction of this website crashed NETCOIN, it looks and acts awful with giant fonts. A prestigous coin looks like bitcoin.it. You guys did a horrible job there. Also the forum with the black background is also cheap looking, like a teenage forum site, it needs to have light or white background for a more serious look.

As a dedictaed miner I would love to help in any way I can, this is by far my most favorite coin.

503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: January 25, 2014, 12:09:21 AM
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share the best pool I have found here that doesnt take 50% of your mining power in fees and claim 1% fee like most pools. Its called www. bitcoop. t k I am in no way shape or form associated with them.

With the halfing of this coin coming up in 40 days or so, this is the right time to start accumulating ahead of the spike without worrying about it getting cut in half overnight like MOON would. Very stable coin so far with great community support and nice foundation backing it up. Unlike MOON and most others this has had no premine, no forked chains and is a pretty stable coin. I can actually see this becoming the main coin for internet transactions as it is intended.

504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 24, 2014, 11:45:32 PM
Someone just tried to hack my account over at the hashery. Anybody have any idea how to get them to reply to my support request. Its been over an hour and nothing back from them yet. How long does it take them to send me a temp password and unlock my account so I can login and make sure nobody got all my coins. It says my account is locked right now.

Question, if DOGE is a lot more profitable than MOON, may I ask why you are still mining MOON? I just dont get it. Why would anyone miss out on an extra 0.008 BTC/day from DOGE vs MOON?

Because we are looking at the future price of mooncoin.

Still doesnt make sense. Mine DOGE, sell immediately and buy MOON you will have more MOON if you did that. Unless you have no access to your RIG no access to internet, no access to Cryptsy for days and you truly believe this will spike so fast you cant get in fast enough.

I dont get why people mine crap like GALAXYCOIN, 42, CAT, etc which dont even pay as much as electricity

Do you think we can raise $10,000. I think it is easily achievable if we accept this as a goal and make it official.
If we do this, mooncoin will singlehandedly fulfill all those kids' dreams. We will definitely get PR and also help the kids in the progress.

Compared with this and the spacecamp, I much prefer fulfilling these kid's dreams. What do you guys think.

Its MOON gotta be space related.

Kids on MCD diet cant fit in space suits.

508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: January 24, 2014, 06:21:09 AM
Also, block time is incorrect for MOON/DOGE.
No way it takes a 20+ GH/s pool more than 2 hours to find a block given the current difficulty.
Maybe this is related to not processing withdrawals?

Anyway, while I'm typing profits are going down... Thanks Multipool.

The scrypt multiport has ~2Gh/s atm...2.000 Mh/s = 2 Gh/s

Also there are several other new profit switching pools that (to me) seem better than this one. Try http://us.trademybit.com or https://www.megamultipool.com/.

We will be making some announcements  soon regarding autoswitching pools, rented hash and more.

Please keep your pool/service spam in your own threads.  This thread is for multipool support.

MOON withdrawals were delayed today because there was unprecedented withdrawal demand and I was without Internet access for several hours (traveling).

Unfortunately I cannot predict when withdrawal demand will peak (If I could, I'd be a trader, rather than a pool op).  I'm also not willing to leave more coins in the hot wallets where they could be subject to theft.  MOON payments are going out now.

If you want to trade coins and ensure quick access, it's best to set an auto pay to your own wallet.  This gives the pool the benefit of predictable payouts and also gives you more control over your coins.

Why do I get more or less 50% of what I'm supposed to get mining at your pool? Thats with all coins and about 2/3 of other pools. Some others like dogehouse.org pay almost what I calculate well maybe less 20% consistently. But you guys take 50% for yourself? I use coinwarz calculator and 24hour avg. If you just operate the payouts you probably dont know.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 24, 2014, 02:05:38 AM
lol, no panic at all...just ppl chickenning like headless chickens running nowhere.
So the miners are so nervous when they trade imo. probably the ROI of their rig make them forgot that they can pump the coin more and more

Im on https://www.bit34.com pool, no blocks found in 2 hours. Any clue why? Other pools?
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: January 24, 2014, 01:55:22 AM
Any way to lower the payout limits on DOGE and MOON to 100?

Doubt that can be, the diff is so low, would bog the system down with tons and tons of payouts.
Would be my guess anyhow.

What you said makes absolutely no sense. He is right. When difficulty rises so much the pools need to lower the min payout. Unlike the old days where my payout was 10,000 DOGE, now I wish it was 100. (I also wish I had kept some of those DOGEs lol)
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 24, 2014, 01:50:18 AM
Speaking of MOON looks like there is panic on Cryptsy, everyone selling it down, dipping below 30 as we speak.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 24, 2014, 01:48:23 AM
I just realized that i bough MOON earlier at 90 satoshi instead of 9 ;( i lost about 400k moon on that buy...

Can you please help solve my FML situation, im sitting down on my knees praying for your support atm

moon: 2XZE2FxFS7mUm9mV2RywwbSvqPtax83UJe

Thank you!!

how is that even possible?  where did this happen?

Coinex, i missed one "0" Sad

 and now all i have i 42k :/

If you did it on coinex it just buys the cheapest sell orders for as much as it can afford up to your listed price, so there is no way you would have got 42k instead of 400 unless you were buying at 9 when there was no buy order between 9 and 90.
I call BS.

He is mistaken, his BTC is still sitting there and he doesnt realize it. His purchase was made for the lowest price at the time. This is a fundamental step to making an EXCHANGE, its the lowest available price its true amongst all exchanges including stock exchanges.

COINEX.PW is a certain breed of garbage website though. I have never seen such a CRAPPY popular website, its amazingly GARBAGE the way its programmed. Constant crashing and slow as hell. Makes the new outlook.com and yahoo mail look brilliant.

514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can we have a subforum for [GIVEWAY] on: January 23, 2014, 09:53:23 PM
Can we please have a SUBFORUM for all the giveaways? Specially that they are SO SMALL not even worth clicking on . Recently someone from the 42 giveaway sent me 0.00000001 of 42 coins. WTF? I cant even send it out because its below the fee so its stuck in my account, a distraction. a billion of those is worth 1 US cent. So WTF? I know its free but still. Or Another guy sent me 100 COL which doesnt even translate to BTC on Cryptsy. So its trash cluttering my account. Min trading on Cryptsy is 1000.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any trust worthy dogecoin pool? on: January 22, 2014, 07:31:10 AM
How do you guys determine what the pools are stealing?

Watch how many coins you get in say a six hour period, including the unconfirmed ones. Multiply that by 4, that's what your pool is paying you in a 24 hour period. Difficulty changes dramatically sometimes but mostly it doesn't.

Then go to coinwarz, plug in your hashrate from cgminer, to be conservative use the hashrate on the right side in front of WU which is always lower, that's actually what's accepted. Scroll down on coinwarz.com to your coin of choice and see how many you are supposed to get on avg in 24 hour period.

This is harder to do with crazy coins like doge. Or coins with suddenly high payout like lotto.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire R9 290 directly from Amazon for $499 on: January 22, 2014, 07:26:52 AM
Be the way, they don't charge your card until it ships, and super easy returns. When you return they refund you as soon as UPS picks up the package. I just returned one of my 7970 Sapphires from Dec, as it just stopped working (fan spins but doesn't show up in CGMINER). The card always went sick and dead though, I scrambled high and low to find out why, not knowing the card is defective and it finally stopped working in like 10 days. It always gave me low hash rates, drove me nuts. I changed power supply, motherboard, RAM even switched from linux to windows, reinstalled drivers gazilliion times, all because I never thought for a second that the card may be defective.

Another card is starting to show similar signs. Hashrate drops. Went dead once already. Etc. starting to doubt Sapphire quality now.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire R9 290 directly from Amazon for $499 on: January 22, 2014, 07:22:12 AM
Very good price for the card, but be wary, even though we're talking about Amazon here, it doesn't mean they'll have this card in stock in time soon. A couple of years ago I ordered MSI Twin Frozr GTX570 (for gaming) from Amazon (and they had it listed as available - which in reality they didn't), after 2 months of waiting (and being in contact with them on a weekly basis) I gave up on the card and got something else.

Not my experience. I ordered four 7970s around Dec 15 exactly the same scenario. Expected delivery date was Jan 6th. The cards were delivered Dec 30th to my surprise.

What I love about Amazon is that the card box and packaging look like they came right out of the factory, brand spanking new, doesn't look like it was ever touched by a human being. Unlike junk I buy at Frys that has been tossed around like a soccer ball for weeks before it hits the shelf.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any trust worthy dogecoin pool? on: January 22, 2014, 06:43:05 AM
Shit attracts flies. Big shit attracts more flies.

Doge is the biggest pile at the moment - so it attracts all the flies (aka scammers).

I have not found A SINGLE pool that pays out correctly. imho they are all scammers. More or less.

Consequence: I stay away from that coin. Because what's the point of having 100.000 coins a day in theory - when in reality all you get is 30.000 coins?

Wow did you ever hit it right, you said exactly what I have been saying. Most all coins pay out about what coinwarz or pool estimate shows. DOGE coin does not, with 5 M/h I get about 30% of what I should according to pool estimates and coinwarz. Doge is the only coin I have this problem with, I believe the pool owners are skimming off the top, I think all these doge pool owners are crooks! Don't assume you are making ll this money mining dogeshit because you are probably getting far less than half of what you should, pool owners are the ones getting rich!

that has been my experience with 95% of the pools are apparently stealing about 1/2 of the miners coins, not just doge its all pools , all coins. multipool.us is notoreous. i just started with lot.nut2pools.com for Lotto (the new Doge up 500% in a day) and it pays ok, it only steals about 30% so i get 70% not so bad. compared to netcodepool and multipool and dedicated woof those guys are brutal they leave me a thin bone out of my $2500 mining rig working hard and $150 electricity bill.

i even started a thread here but no one replied.

520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just sold all my Doge. Hope I hit it on the high end. on: January 21, 2014, 07:07:43 AM
Of course I sold it on BTER since every other coin with a quick raise I have experience has caused constant problems at Cryptsy, which is why I have had BTER in my signature for a while.

Did Cryptsy crash and burn with this raise as well?

I would like to have another exchange with decently high volume I can use but BTER seems to be the only one I haven't had issues with.

Definitely regret selling my 500k doge when I did.

Where did you mine them? Every single pool I try pays me about 50% of what coinwarz.com calculates.
