Let's get back on track with some constructive discussion, someone asked about the timing of the new algo etc.. based on this link: https://vertcoin.org/pow-algorithm-upgrade-lyra2/ , order of events would be: "There is still much work to be done before we roll it out. Here is a approximate timeline: 1. Derive appropriate initial memory and cpu levels to roughly match the current level (8/15/2014) 2. Implement the new algo in all the wallets including mobile (10/15/2014)3. Run final testing on testnet (11/15/2014) 4. Final release to mainnet (11/30/2014) - These are estimates, we may move faster -" I hope this helps so by the end of the year, right? that sounds reasonable. the price might drift downwards over this period, but lets see what we can do to buy some of those up  I´m not buying... Hello,
Yesterday i bought a big chuck of coins and backed up the wallet! This morning i turn the pc on and start the wallet to find it will not open, kept getting missing dll files errors, when i replaced the dll files to the correct folder, i received a message saying something like ‘ program has to close, please report this’ or something like it!
My question is how do i restore my wallet, and how can i prevent this from happening again, is there a problem with the wallet?, i’m running windows 7.
I have just deleted everything from the noble folder found in appdata/roaming and i’m currently reinstalling noblecoin. Just need some help with the rest of it please.

after installing the wallet, close the wallet and go to the noble folder and delete the NEW wallet.dat. Fill in your old wallet.dat and open your wallet. should work now. |

volume on cryptsy is so low  nobody wants to trade there. compared to mintpal and bittrex it is faster. mintpal wants 999 confirmations and bittrex 60. polo and cryptsy are very fast when depositing, but polo has not the big volume. so I thínk people will choose cryptsy for their next trades. |

Covering hacks for the exchanges/pools during our growing period was fine and we were happy to, but things have changed (including quality of exchanges) and people should have learnt by now so as we said that's all in the past - we have to be a roundtable community rather than let it become a 'cult of personality' (as Bryce eloquently puts it). Got a decent-sized update coming though within 24 hours from jdebunt (news article).

If an exchange gets hacked or runs off with your coins it is your responsibility and NOT the coin devs to deal with that loss. Everyone knows if you leave coins on exchanges you may lose them!!!!! +1, well said sir |
