This Coin Dev is Bytecoin Dev ? Bytecoin =Dashcoin ?
No, we have no relation with Bytecoin's devs. Dashcoin a 1:1 Bytecoin copy. It probably stay as such unless Dashcoin becomes so big we can afford full time developers better than Bytecoin's. Bytecoin is launched within small set of people (mostly related to devs computer specialists). Dashcoin has an open launch - it is for everyone. The reason we made Dashcoin is because: 1. Currently all clones of Bytecoin have huge difficulty of maintaining their base code. 2. The leader's strategy is based on creating negative image of everyone else. This does not talk good about the leader. Not telling their community don't do good things also. hi, dev, is the GUI wallet coming out??
The GUI wallet will be made 3rd party. Currently I have knowledge that Minergate's owner is willing to make one, no timeframe about that. GUIs wallets and web wallets are huge niche and 3rd parties should realise that. Also Bytecoin maybe will integrate GUI in their core code soon. We are preparing for a move like that. By looking at the other coins' GUI, it's not a big disadvantage that we don't have one. Their GUIs start the daemon and simplewallet, which should not happen in a production version of a GUI.

this... is why i am digging deep as possible into this tech. thanks for that, i missed it, there are so many of them thanks to ES. Edit - jesus, that's creepy as hell... yikes.... Then digg more and read the comments: Any coin where the creator knew that he was providing a suboptimal miner and kept a better miner to himself without disclosing this to the community He is obviously talking about both Bytecoin and Monero.

Is Subtoshi exchange safe?could anybody tell me ?I want to sell out some DSH
Can't tell is it safe. What I can tell is that deposit and withdraw functions work fine ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You got email verification on withdraw, which is not good as Google Authenticator, but far better than none.

OTC trading will be needed no longer.
After the issue of a lack of decimal places on current exchanges came up with Ducknote, I set out to write an exchange which supports 3 decimal places past a satoshi. The base unit for prices on the exchange was a satoshi to make things simple. That exchange has since been updated with a new website, and many new features. I have also recently added Dashcoin to the exchange, as I saw its need for prices below a satoshi.
The updated exchange has been under a closed beta, and I will be opening it to the public tomorrow.
Which exchange? It is a new exchange based on my old ducknote exchange. You can see its thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=764158Great news ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Added to first post.

Tried ... didin't work... About 4 hours remaining till the coins should return to sender. All pray for us :-) EDIT and update: The sender deleted wallet.bin and re-synchronized the wallet. That solved it. Thanks all for the support. So, I've been trying to consolidate my mined inputs for fast sending since I can't send more than 100k on average in one transaction due to the transaction size limits. I created another wallet and started sending 100k transactions to it with 0 mix-in. 30 hours later less than 1/2 got through. I deleted wallet.bin and my DSH seems to be back in the original wallet. However, when I try to send another 100k I get a double spending error from the daemon. Where's my DSH? In a limbo? How long will this limbo last? EDIT: I have the -f and -p options in transfer so I must be running the latest version but the touted 'reset' command isn't in my wallet. Hi, Within 24 hours all not passed transactions have to be back in your wallet. You don't have the last wallet version if you don't have the reset command. If you have the last version you can see your transfers with 'list_transfers'. You can find the download link in the first post of this thread. 0 is the max mix-in. To send bigger amounts use something smaller - 3 for example. With 1 you can send the largest amount. PM me if you still have problem or questions

I typed 'exit' on the dashcoind console,it just stay here ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) OS and version? Nothing wrong to kill the process btw, the blockchain and the wallet save automatically. Is this a mandatory update?I am using v.1.0.1 wallet
Not mandatory, but it adds useful functions. You no longer need to delete the wallet binary file when something goes wrong. You just type 'reset' instead. Also, you can see your transactions easily. On v.1.0.1 you can see them only in the log. Tip: to see transactions before the update, you need to 'reset' your wallet first. thanks, Does this 'reset' feature come from BCN? Yes

I'm wondering under which OS it will mine faster if the hardware is the same, MacOs or Windows or Linux?
Why didn't anyone answer this question? I would like to know the answer As far as I know: GPU - Windows with claymore's gpu miner CPU - Linux with wolf's cpuminer I am with MacOS and the only decent working thing you can get is minergate's miner.

Dashcoin has been updated to v.1.0.2, which includes the following features:
— Transaction history for simplewallet and Wallet JSON RPC — Reset command for simplewallet and Wallet JSON RPC — Various simplewallet improvements
The "reset" command is a handful tool in case you would like to resynchronize your wallet's data from scratch. This command was introduced to avoid deleting the wallet.bin file in case the re-synchronization is required.
The transaction history can be obtained through "list_transfers" command in simplewallet or "get_transfers" method in Wallet RPC. It returns the information regarding all incoming and outgoing transactions. The method provides an easy way for the users or services to recheck all the wallet's operations.

hi, DEV, i've noticed that in the "Features" description part, there are 1. Untraceable payments 2. Unlinkable transactions 3. Double-spending proof 4. Blockchain analysis resistance 5. Egalitarian proof of work 6. Adaptive limits
the 1,2,4, items are easy to understand, but what about the rest? could you give some explanation? thanks
Short version: 3. Double-spending proof - even anonymous, you cannot spend your coins twice; 5. Egalitarian proof of work - makes CPU and GPU mining roughly equally efficient and restrict ASIC mining; 6. Adaptive limits - difficulty and block size adjust with each block. Long version (recommended): https://cryptonote.org/inside/

any marketing plan?
No marketing plan by the core devs. You miners can organize if you want. 'datoldminer' had some idea about organizing people willing to participate in marketing. You can contact him: datoldminer@gmail.com with the subject "Dashcoin marketing squad" Dev,Is that possible that DSH can have more than 1 more mirrors of cryptonite coins?
Not for now. We prefer to keep it as simple as possible for the moment.

If the Dev plan to add some new features into DSH,I'll put 40K hashrate to mine this coin.
We are currently working on the automation process. There is no plan to add additional things to the core in near future, beside the updates that Bytecoin makes. Work on the website is also in progress. I think it's a matter of time to see the first GUI wallet.

DASHCOIN V. 1.0.1 UPDATEYou should immediately update to this version!Dashcoin Windows - InstructionsDashcoin Linux - InstructionsDashcoin Mac - InstructionsNew features:— Multi-signatures — Updated block reward scheme — Daemon RAM consumption is optimized — Faster wallet refresh — Transaction priority based on tx fee — Transactions are returned from tx pools after 24 hours — Dynamic maximum block size limit — Reduced default transaction fee — Various network health up If you have a problem with your wallet, delete your "wallet-name.bin" file, open simplewallet, and refresh from scratch. Do not delete the .keys file as this will lead to your wallet being lost. good to see your still with us dev ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I've downloaded the lastest wallet, but it shows dashcoin wallet v0.8.11.65(@VERSION@),not V. 1.0.1.Any problem? Print bug (affects Windows binaries). The binary version is 1.0.1, just the version is printed incorrectly. Thank you for pointing it out. I'll correct it shortly. To make sure you use the last version start 'simplewallet', type 'help' and see if the 'transfer' command has '-p' and '-f' options. Edit: Fixed.

Slb can i ask ya, but what exactly are your plans for DSH? just asking out of curiosity ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) No plan ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I just want this network to be well maintained and reliable. I think we will reach the next level when we got into 9 digit BTC exchange (like hitbtc) or LTC / XMR exchange. Dashcoin already has liquidity in the OTC trading thread and a fair price exchange will ease the trades a lot. Our best option is to get noisy on Poloniex. Every time you want to buy or sell DSH and you go to the OTC trading thread just take another minute and write on polo's trollbox or support that you want to buy / sell DSH on the XMR exchange. Or write them on Twitter.

@silverlots I was also a reciever a day ago. We made it the same way - many small transfers. It toked a long time (we had to wait for 12+ hours for all transactions to be processed). Are all transactions not processed or some of them are processed? If a transaction is not processed in 24 hours it is canceled, so don't worry about the money. Please make transfers with "-f 10.0005" or something bigger than 10 to make the process faster. I just tested it and it works fine this way. When most users update their binaries the transaction fee will not be a problem.
Thanks for the reply and tips. Nothing from the 52 mil came in yet, so i hope it gets sent back in about 10 hours and we can try again. It would be a shame to have such a quantity get lost in the void Well, this is strange. Is the sender's daemon running? Some, if not all transfers should be received by now.
