It's that time of the month on bittrex again..
"This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Oct 4th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC."
They totally do not pay attention to listed coins. Past 7 days almost 2BTC volume, past 2 weeks 5 BTC volume. Like .. really .. and no one mention 14.239 BTC buy wall .. |

Now would be a good time to do something with bitmark. Poloniex is at its all time high in volume, with a massive influx of new users because of Ethereum. Their trollbox is very busy and lots of people are still marking, so new people are being exposed to btm.
good suggestion!! BTM is still one of the best alts going forward in terms of real world use cases, and it's already being used on poloniex. need to get some big-ass giveaways going to get new people using it for marking no premine, no ico...hard to do giveaways, it has to be done by the community all pitching in. Some of us have been liberal in marking trolls on Poloniex trollbox, please come, join us , make the box blush |

It's moving again. Some kind benefactor threw on 500Mhs and it's unstuck again. Think we'll have to chip in a bit and hire some Scrypt mining power, or .. I may look into getting 100Mhs miner when LTC halves and miners sell gear in despair again. That will keep network flowing regardless and put the coins in the Foundation coffers. LTC really drained all Scrypt power, with prices on most coins staying the same, the Net Hash has fallen 80% across the board and went to LTC. Looks like it's time to release the hounds .. wallet. I really like the idea of wormhole events, but how would you secure fast transactions while a wormhole occurs?
When we are in the wormhole, there shouldn't be any problems. The problem that can occur is what we're seeing right now. Someone boosted the difficulty high for the standard miner on the network. Fast transactions aren't problem when the network is stable. When big miners enter the network and leave after a certain amount of time. That's when transactions will become slower. The only solution available right now, is getting more miners on the network to minimize the effect of those big miners. Pretty much. This is the 1st time I have seen the network get stuck on high difficulty, and I've been paying attention since launch. Would only need 100Mhs to get it unstuck now. LTC has dragged off pretty much the entire Scrypt hash power onto it for the halving in 2 weeks. |

Close to a new wallet folks. It cures hair loss and promotes weight loss .. or something.
Syncing 3 hours from fresh, going fast .. 60 blocks a second, at 530k block of 625k. Seems to me faster than before by a margin, but it's been a while since I synced a new wallet from fresh. Still, for a 17 month old blockchain, I call that super fast.
Explorer will come back online shortly too and I'll get cleaning on the OP this weekend.
-- syncing done after 3.5 hours, not bad. Test coins sent back and forth, works fine. Will do more testing tomorrow.

Can someone tell me why the version number at github is 0.8.7.2 and the binary version just 0.8.7.1 ? (Links/Downloads from OP) Q3.) Something strange has been happening with the EMC2 price. Someone has bought a lot of coins on two occasions over the last month then let it settle. has there been any development that hasn't been posted here? Someone is buying a lot of coins and I'm not sure why in this current environment.
There was a block halving to 32 coins few days ago. Also, EMC2 is very cheap now compared to the market bull run in past 2 months. As I keep advising, if you held out this long when BTC was cheap and EMC2 was 50-60 sats, do hold a bit more. LTC halving is 3 weeks away and markets are going to have a seizure with all the hashing power to come --- Now .. think what EMC2 has already? Wormholes .. it has shown that is it capable of taking a big spike in hash power and correct itself within a couple of hours, most would not even notice the network speed spiking 15x suddenly. And wallet status: wallet dev now headhunted |

Exchanges have arbing bots who will make profit for the exchange if elsewhere price is higher, on top of whale bots. Nothing that can be done about that.
Those who only paid attention to Cryptsy LTC pairing and not thought about BTC price if converted, probably missed the whole rise when LTC went mental but are seeing the crazy after effects of the swift pump and dump that happened.

So much fun this week with LTC pump .. (did I not say some weeks back??) Zeit held like a champion throughout, most impressive, until 12h ago. Which again, the LTC spiking to 0.033 (lolwut? 0.024 was target) took out a lot of buy wall .. so .. well .. thanks for the cheap Zeits today. I need to enlist our glorious dev into maybe agreeing to make EMC2 a wallet, as mentioned some months back. Perhaps a few mil Zeits can sweeten the deal? |
