Been away for a while. What is emc2 part in this game and how do we benefit? Thanks!

This project is good on many levels:
- the primary level is branding -- placing EMC2 in front of people in a different kind of way,
- as a vehicle for distributing small amounts of EMC2 for people to consider using or investing in,
and
- we are also supporting a community project that was created to support the CC industry, as non-CC players learn of the game they also learn of CC and are exposed to specific CCs.

Faucets are good, but this is apparently more fun.


Once PICISI is running with crypto it will bring a huge amount of attention to EMC2, since I only have 2 of the targeted 6 admins we would not launch according to the existing plan, so I've rewritten the plan yet again so that we begin on a much smaller scale where we currently stand.  If we had the staff things would begin much bigger and brighter; we've done a ton of things to meaningfully improve EMC2 however the only things that have brought vigor to the coin over the past year has been artificial pumps.  Although this is indicative of the industry, that is not how I wanted EMC2 to grow.  PICISI is a great opportunity for EMC2 to grow organically as a currency not simply as a commodity.

In the coming days www.PICISI.com will begin alpha testing, in about 2 weeks we should begin beta testing, depending on results plans will be made to launch the coin (Pi).  It will remain in beta until the site is working smoothly with fiat and crypto, when the road is smooth we will launch the site.

Since EMC2 is not a paid sponsor it won't likely be represented on the home page which is reserved for the Top 10 sponsors, however it will be able to participate in many other sponsorship opportunities, the most important of which is the Host CC Sponsor.

PICISI.com is currently in active alpha testing mode, this means most of the tools work but not with great reliability.  Accounts, and campaigns should be able to be requested,
if approved campaigns can be setup.  Paypal is setup in 'sandbox' for testing for the next couple days.  

          The PayPal Sandbox is a self-contained, virtual testing environment that mimics the live PayPal production environment. It provides a
          shielded space where you can initiate and watch your application process the requests you make to the PayPal APIs without touching
          any live PayPal accounts.

Crypto funds may be manually collected.  Manual crypto collection will survive alpha testing, and expected to move deep into beta testing.   The developer can do the work
however my hope is that we create a relationship with one of the various exchanges so that we could tailor our work to a specific program already in place, this is to minimize
waste, duplication, and the temptation to take programming shortcuts.

Thanks. The majority of the additions to game are player suggestions. I like to give the players what they want (reasonable of course) as it makes everyone happy.

I have played many games in my time and was the GM boss in one and have seen games go to waste because the developers ignored what the players wanted and only cared about what could make them more money. This is the quickest way for a game to fail and I expect DKV to still be up and running 20 years from now with hundreds of thousands of players (hopefully), just takes some time and effort for it to succeed.

When PICISI gets up and running well and the future campaign for DKV becomes successful I will be able to afford advertising and much more that will help the game expand to even greater heights.

Something strange has been happening with the EMC2 price. Someone has bought a lot of coins on two occasions over the last month then let it settle. has there been any development that hasn't been posted here? Someone is buying a lot of coins and I'm not sure why in this current environment.

There was a block halving to 32 coins few days ago. Also, EMC2 is very cheap now compared to the market bull run in past 2 months.

As I keep advising, if you held out this long when BTC was cheap and EMC2 was 50-60 sats, do hold a bit more. LTC halving is 3 weeks away and markets are going to have a seizure with all the hashing power to come

--- Now .. think what EMC2 has already? Wormholes .. it has shown that is it capable of taking a big spike in hash power and correct itself within a couple of hours, most would not even notice the network speed spiking 15x suddenly.

1) Explorer expired and a new one is in the works. I'll see where we are at with it.
2) 3) A bit clueless about coding. That's the latest version from May 2014.

As for sites, we do have http://emc2foundation.org/ which is a placeholder and needs updating, and http://www.einsteinium.biz/ - the einsteinium.org we lost to the original dev. Maybe slap the .biz on there for now.

Close to a new wallet folks. It cures hair loss and promotes weight loss .. or something.

Syncing 3 hours from fresh, going fast .. 60 blocks a second, at 530k block of 625k. Seems to me faster than before by a margin, but it's been a while since I synced a new wallet from fresh. Still, for a 17 month old blockchain, I call that super fast.

Explorer will come back online shortly too and I'll get cleaning on the OP this weekend.
