502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: August 24, 2019, 12:06:25 PM
I think that next scammy exchange will be Latoken and VINDAX, these exchanges showed that only care about quick profit.
See CMA scam accusations against VINDAX.

You got it wrong dude,CMA never did any IEO on vindax exchange pls dont share wrong information on here,CMA IEO was done on idax which after it became a success idax refused to send fund back to CMA team thats what triggered scam accusation against idax
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: August 24, 2019, 12:03:48 PM
some exchanges are used to feeding people lies about how demanding a particular IEO sales is on going, fake soldouts here and there just to create fake awareness for the project and the exchange itself so that when ever other IEO comes up again they will have more investors
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hodl no shitcoins for future altcoin season on: August 24, 2019, 11:59:24 AM
I wont be surprised if almost half of all altcoins we have in crypto space died off soon, the truth is we have too many useless coins in this space and very few altcoin worth holding onto,i hope investors are a lot smarter now and im sure history will repeat itself but no chance for shitcoins at all
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who is to be blame? BM or BH on: August 23, 2019, 02:36:11 PM
Most of the time its bounty managers fault,i can made mention bounty managers that never go back on their words, once they make rules for a particular bounty they will never change the rules, bounty managers like bubbalex and Arteezy always stand on their words, many bounty managers change rules to cheat bounty participants most times
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 23, 2019, 02:31:33 PM
Use case is a thing and max supply is another, merely doing research on some old projects i did noticed that they can do better if they have small max supply e.g electronuem coin which has 21billion max supply, investors are already complaining of its lately devalue since January 2019 and even after several good news they project still failed to add more value to the coin,to me large max supply is not always everything
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: August 22, 2019, 11:48:41 AM
I guess it is time for people to wake up to the reality that IEO is no better than ICO,some seeing IEO as a better option to ICO but like you rightly said,it can be more dangerous,it is just another way to scam people and it will surely get worst very soon.

The reason investors are investing is to make gains and profits,IEO is delivering that since day one and you did have a point about some projects giving out false claims about 'token sold out' but this only happens on not too big exchanges for example idax but even if its the same with exchanges like binance and okex many IEOs since january are still in profits, some did x6 return but are now at x2,its still making sense.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the end, the developer who made the token becomes junk! on: August 22, 2019, 11:42:19 AM
now prize hunters face a harsh reality .. that most projects end in fraud and some of them might make a profit but not big, on the other hand the bounty hunter must also be patient to wait for their tokens to be listed on the exchange or at least have a sale value in the market ...
but seeing the unstable market situation, it is also very risky for new tokens generated from the project. Why?
because it all depends on the project developer !!!
I see that many developers no longer care about their project work map and if the developer cannot run their project correctly, the token will become junk !!!

There will still come a time all weak coins and tokens will be dealt with and coinmarketcap will be free of many useless tokens but for now its investors duty to rely more on their research before investing in any project, the truth is many new projects are been created for pump and dump, fraud and scams, its one of the reasons i think regulations is the answer
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: August 18, 2019, 12:33:49 PM
Old bounty projects already have fixed value so the tokens you are going to earn will be so limited unless the old project is worthless, you cant expect to make 50,000 tokens from an old bounty project when the value it around 0.50 cent on exchanges, you will be luck to get 100$ worth of tokens from old bounties this is why i dont like old bounty projects
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why are investors still complaining? on: August 18, 2019, 12:26:26 PM
absence of research will consistently drives investors off track,Numerous investors are whining that they are at lose putting lots of money into some IEO projects yet many IEO projects are plain success from the info ive gathered,IEO projects from binance,bitmax,gate.io,kucoin are mostly successful and their ATH are so good that i regret not investing in some of them, why are people still complaining? Are they joining IEO from crappy exchanges or new exchanges with low volumes?
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: August 17, 2019, 10:48:34 AM
I cant blame your friend cos many newbies like learning the hardway and remember that every single pro traders are all losers to trading at the very beginning of their trading journey before they actually became professional traders, its not easy to understand how market movement works and most strategies ive seen doesnt work for me either,we have to lose before we become winners its part of the procedures
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Downloading a wallet on an external disc drive? on: August 17, 2019, 10:42:33 AM
And what about downloading it on my laptop for now and then moving it to the external disc drive?
You have to be sensitive if you are keeping the wallet files. I advise you to save also a copy of your wallet.dat or if its possible for you to keep a copy of your private key written stored on a piece of paper.

Yes, of course.
Keeping the wallet.dat did not came immediately to my mind, but for sure I will do it too!
There were incidents before that they've tried to back it up but it seems that the file they've saved was corrupted so be careful doing that. Good luck with it!
It should work because ive seen few projects that extracted their blockchain data into .ZIP file for people to download and place in the right directory using file managers before launching the wallet for the wallet to recognize the data successfully  instead of syncing the whole data from scratch again,i tried this with worktips project and it works
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Downloading a wallet on an external disc drive? on: August 16, 2019, 09:49:59 AM
SSD storage is better and stronger than HDD,either external or not they can give up the ghost any point in time so be ready to keep your private keys off the storage and if possbile to safe the wallet.dat file aswell, keep them in a very secured environment that is private to you only
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: August 16, 2019, 09:46:09 AM
Im impressed how IEO projects are raising their funds with ease and i pity developers who don't  want to list their IEO on popular exchanges like binance because the best way to easily raised funds needed for projects is through biggest exhanges like binance ,okex etc,now it feels like the difference  between ICO,STO compared to IEO is Marginal, thanks to popular exchanges
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 15, 2019, 07:41:43 PM
I never expected anything to be easy maybe thats why i dont get worried about present market price

The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement  like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens, the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain, its never going to be that easy.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers ruin ICO fund raising on: August 15, 2019, 06:08:41 PM
Your topic really doesn't relate to the body of your post, as for scammers ruining IEOs, I am yet to see an example of an IEO that has been conducted and the funds are not given to the team as agreed, maybe it's because I do not follow up on projects that does not conduct their IEOs in too tier exchanges, this is basically an indication that you should stick to trust worthy and verified exchanges as long as fundraising is concerned.

Some projects got crushed by idax exchanges and these projects have no choice but to move on,i even heard that idax have very powerful connection backing the exchange after CMA project tackled idax, the sane thing happened to xcrypt project,i think you arent looking enough or you just dont heard about this but it does happened
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I do early private investment? Have any one done it? Is it safe? on: August 14, 2019, 08:45:55 AM
Hey folks, I am new to all these investing thing have bought some coins to experiment and that is all about it.

I was checking the Beginner section on this forum and came across this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174705.0

I checked the platform they mentioned on that post no need to give the names, and seems like their project is on Alpha, contacted their CEO and had some talk with him.

Basically he told me about their vision and showed me their whitepaper, both looked legit to me. then I asked if they have ICO or something and then he said no.

But instead he said they do private investment prior to ICO from a better rate. I have never done this and I don't know this thing is something that I can trust.

Have you guys a made a private investment to blockchain company or technically a future altcoin. If you guys can share your insights would be grateful!

Cheers!

Becareful pal, make sure the CEO has past history in crypto space and the teams are professionals, don not invest in projects that the teams are new to crypto world, without enough experience the project will fail later on,i think what you need now is to learn more about how to detect good ICO projects
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: August 13, 2019, 07:22:22 AM
As you know IEO trend is growing but i feel IEO is profitable only for those who invested in token sale but who have purchased altcoin after launched they suffer loss majority of the investors ,as the BTT and some other altcoin examples of IEO.
it means investors arent looking enough,if you dont know where to invest your money dont bothet investing in any, many IEO projects from binance are successful i think you should stick with binance IEOs instead or make sure the project you want to invest in has a real usecase that will keep its value alive
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of profitable bounty campaign in year 2019 on: August 13, 2019, 07:18:30 AM
i know gowithmi bounty was a success for the participants that refused to dump after token distribution, the ATH for gowithmi was 880% and another one is miracletele which till date still doesnt lose value because of its real use case many bounty hunters and investors became holders
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 10, 2019, 02:08:42 PM
Complains wont change anything but i pity those who invested in btc when bitcoin price was surging in 2017 and by now they havent make back any profits, the best advice i can give is investors should learn to have patience and learn about trading to sustain till better market value returns
