I've stopped writing on this board full of kids and greedy arseholes, but had to post a reply here to say I totally approve the merge of mmxiv/teeth/bucks/vary to a new crypto (keeping the name "bucks") that will be up-to-date with current techno.

iGotSpots : stick to your plan and what you already announced us, don't listen to the egocentric manipulators.  I hope you have fun at the NASA Social Media event.

One thing though that I think suck hard is that for those that bought mmxiv since 2 months now (I am), for them it is simply a losing bet : the decrease in value was much higher vs. the stake.
so it's hard for the "late" buyers of mmxiv to be pleased with the merge. But I believe it's way better to get that new coin wich will offer much more.  The current mmxiv setting was totally out of control and going down and the new fork (odd/even) wasn't too great imho, and wouldn't stop the bleeding.

Guys, we know what the merge conversion will be. do some simple maths now and check what your current stash will give you...
Maybe it's better to increase your position on one coin (ex. for mmxiv, at the current price it may be the best to buy more to get a better share) while for other, using the gorilla.exchange to grab other coins may be a good idea.

Honestly, I have no more hope. I've written off this bad crypto investment now and moved my wallet in my "shitcoins" folder. No... I don't even bother moving my coins back on exchanges to sell them, because even if i lost few btc's, that was only play money and I don't care to lose it all, but sure won't please the rats and leeches by dropping the price to insane levels for few satoshis.

I tried to help the best i could with this startup, but "Devs" (if really they are more than one kid in that shit) just don't collaborate at all. I've sent multiple pm's to Cypher7A69 without answers.

I will close definately the Slack channel i've created for the Cypher community tomorrow.
I will also delete the twitter account i've made to promote this coin and to make giveaways.

My crypto journey has ended... After 2 years of being in crypto, trading and participating either in the community side or by dev'ing some side stuffs completely free for few coin dev teams, I now strongly believe this industry is not mature enough. The players aren't matures enough, imho.  Cool thing is that I'm ending that with more gains than losses and on a very positive balance, but sadly, i just don't want to play the "angel investor" and to feed that insane amateurism, immature, unprofessional business anymore. I'll be back trading gold/silver, flipping properties and other stuffs non-crypto.

This Cypher project was absolutely awesome and i'm being honest with you. It was an end-product with a very good success potential if marketed well. But these guys messed it up completely. They are giving all indicators that they are probably high-school kids or 1st year college, completely missing the whole stuff and have a total lack of professionalism.  I've seen they have hired few guys (the usual suspects) during the launch of this coin that make me believe they aren't new at all in the crypto scene and are probably dev'ing many other coins.

The fact that "they" didn't even bothered to address the nodes issues is a big proof they are playing a game with the believers and investors of Cypher. Hell, the only node that is working is eurocket.net and our wallet can't even connect to any other nodes at all, so what will happen when they shut down this last node?  Their website is down since days and the url in the wallet is not even the good old official cypher domain name. wtf?  I've pointed out few small issues, but the dev kid don't reply.

Been 2 full weeks now that questions and concerns are being posted here by me and by others, and the dev just don't care at all... Funnier is that after one of my last post here, the dev logged in for only 2 minutes and logged off, without saying anything nor answering any pm's.. Fuck you. They are monitoring this damn thread and just don't give a fuck.


So, for those that feel have been fooled like me, you now have 2 choices : either do like me and write off this crap or sell it while it's still worth around 500 satoshis. Maybe they will deliver on may 30th a vpn beta version or maybe not. think there is still hope if you want, but I don't care at all anyways.

I will by now return as a lurker only, but you won't see me making another posts here... or maybe yes, but only to vomit on the devs futures posts, if any.....

I really hope you guys are still holding Cypher and have faith. We all know that crypto is a weird game where few think that even if they sell for a big loss here, they will win back in another coin. Truth is that right now, all altcoins under-performs and everything is going down.

Yes = dev should manifest himself more often here and, since he said they are 2 teams working on it and also the fact that they surely aren't new to crypto, that would be nice to see other Cypher devs posting here. This forum is the only place where we can keep in touch with the guys working on this project.... if they continue to avoid logging here and not responding to their pm's then they are just putting more nails on the coffin for this project. You cannot overlook your community,followers,believers,investors if you want to have success.  It is a myth to believe that "build it and they will come" is going to work... because the altcoins niche is over-over-over-saturated.

I am holding and staking all my coins. I have a fair amount I would say. I also talked with other members here that are holding and staking many coins too. Together, we have a good share of the total coinage and we are all there for the long run, we just don't care about the few easy flip for a thin 5%... there are plenty of other coins with more volume and volatility for that.

The number of connections we get on wallet is only 3.  A coin with a very nice Proof-of-Stake of 10% should get easily and a minimum of 8 connections at all-time...

True. And I saw it flashing also yesterday and posted about it. But guess what, lord fireinyourhole just don't like anyone to make post like that because it hurts his money. meanwhile, he let killacam8888 do his crap fud all days since 3 days. Now that fact that another one is posting about this sell wall flashing makes this investment very risky to be left with a big bag of sling that gonna be worth 1/3 the paid price. Me don't want.  When I saw this huge sell wall flashing yesterday I automatically wanted to find my exit. Glad I did. I moved all back to tron for the moment. Too bad because I like sling and the tech and the dev that delivered that. I will surely be back in later but right now the market don't give clear clue what it's going to do, up or down... but most probably, like every other coins, it will keep heading south for a while. The market is young, the players act like immatures and like casual gamblers. It's hard to predict. Many here will start to get affected emotionally because it hurts to see their bet reducing and turning into the red zone,  but I know the feeling and personally been struggling and fighting and defending many coins over the last 2 years, but it is what it is... now crypto is like playing a hot potato game.
