501  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 24, 2018, 03:33:51 AM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?

I am having two children and both of them want to study abroad! The dreams are high and they want to get best education they could from this world and I am also willing to support their dreams. Obviously thats why we are here, the parent! :-)

For this purpose we need hell lot of money and I dont want to be in the position in the future when they will say "yes papa, we are ready to fly" but I am not ready! I will never let that happen anytime and thats why I am into crypto currency. I am literally pushing myself into the crypto 24X7 just to achieve dreams of my children. Also, the crypto is great help for my current living. :-) So yes I am working hard and im investing here for my children.

Earning merit is not that difficult if you really provide quality content to this forum and legends here would appreciate your work here for sure as they are the one who actually engage in reading the stuff.

For this you just have to follow few normal points like : Stay honest while typing the answer and dont bluff. You should not think about the earning money on the forum in the first place as you started your post with bounty campaign and all the stuff. But you can actually start working on the forum by engaging with it, with its content and also with the people here. The more relations you will build here the more appreciation you will receive as you will be gaining the trust from others fro your quality posts and services.  Smiley
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Giving Out Your Bittrex/Binance Exchange BTC Address Safe? on: February 22, 2018, 10:11:00 AM
Let say you want to sell someone some btc.  But you want them to send the btc to your exchange account btc address whether its bittrex, binance or other exchange accounts.  Is that generally safe or not?

The other thing is i know with bittrex/binance, they give you the btc address to send btc to.  But could you generate a new btc address?  If so, would there be any conflict with any btc you already have in that bittrex/binance address?

Yes you are safe with the BTC address generated form the exchangers because they also work on the same principle of the blockchain as the wallet would ddo. The only thing is in exchange you can create different token address so the only care must be taken that you are generating the BTC address only and sending the BTC to that address and no other currency.

In addition to this you can create as many address as you want and there wont be any conflict. However do no send fund to old address as that might not able to receive the coins as per exchanger rules. Read the FAQ for better understanding of individual exchangers.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: How does a Bitcoin have any value? on: February 22, 2018, 09:43:53 AM
Bitcoins do not have value as a physical commodity like gold and are not widely accepted as legal tender like dollars.

Rather, Bitcoin appears to have value for the following reasons: It is popular.

In short, people accept and trade in Bitcoin because other people accept and trade in Bitcoin.

Everything has its value. As long as the recognized people are more valuable.

An antique, for example, is not really useful, but it is often valuable because there are many people who approve of it.

The same is true of bitcoins, which are now accepted by many people.

How this one is good though you tried to express it completely but there is difference between the bitcoin and antiques. Though the comparison was upto the market conspiring the OP's question.

So yeah, anything that has recognition or anything where people want to invest their own money (which is valuable ) gets the value of that much of money. For example, Lisa Painting, now what the use of that, despite the thing that it is just known for its mysterious smile and people want to have it because it is popular in the world and one of its kind! The end result is billion dollar painting.

In similar ways, bitcoin is crypto currency with at least some use for us. Its getting value because the demand for the same is growing day by day and people are putting huge investment into it. That why its getting value.

506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good Altcoins we can invest in? on: February 20, 2018, 09:36:51 AM
Hii
I have been trading in Bitcoin and Ethereum since sometime. But have no knowledge about various Altcoins in the market.
Any good Altcoins with a strong project and team I can invest in?
Please suggest

There are various good projects out there however you have to keep an eye on the progress of their development. This is important step as they could go scam at anytime during the project development. I have been watching few projects which doing really great about this, the names are as follows: Jibrel Network, InsurePal, IndaHash, Xaurum Gamma and the last but not waves. I like that one too for its long sustaining project. These are really new projects but are having great volumes of market and are making truthful progress in the project. This can lead to great lead generations in the coming days and thus could make us great fortune. However, the investment into these projects are subject to risk and persona interest so do check that one.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Spectulation for Bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 06:15:15 AM
I'm spectulating after the 17-18th of Feb , that Bitcoin will drop SIGNIFICANTLY with Chinese new Year fast approaching.

Once it does , It will hover and go down to about 3k / BTC and near the end of 2018 , it will rise Significantly , to about 30k USD.

And then in 2019 Q1 Bitcoin will be able to pass 50k USD ...

This is spectulation , but lets see if i'm right.

What do you guys think will happen to Bitcoin for the next 2-5 years?

Nothing like this happened really and im happy about it because I dont wanted to loose my funds really. Lolz. The effect which you speculated here already happened back in January month and the more closer we moved the graph started pushing itself upwards because people were thinking that it will pump hard after the Chinese new year and that is what really happened in the first place. The bitcoin price jumped high and in the process it attracted many new investors thus making the great spikes for it. Now as the bitcoin is hoarding around 10K rates im sure it has passed the test of resistance and is ready to grow further too. :-)
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: February 16, 2018, 10:02:46 AM
This is the news which causes our bitcoin to go down. Anyway I believe that this kind of news is spreaded by those people who are literally not successful in the world of crypto currency. This is psychological response to their unsuccessful approach towards the crypto currency and in turn they keep creating FUD in the market. When they see market falling then they go ahead and try to invest money when it’s low in the value. That’s really bad move and I don’t think it will stop anytime soon.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it easy to trade cryptocurrency? on: February 11, 2018, 04:50:54 AM
Is it easy to trade cryptocurrency?

The spread is lower that forex or it is the same?

Comment down below your opinion.

Thank you.

 Smiley

There is no need to mix up things from two different world. The crypto currency trading is having its own set of rules due to state versatile nature. As there is no control over the crypto currency from any governing body as well as it can be vastly manipulated in no time that’s why it doesn’t depend on the ways of forex trades. On the broader perspective you should be fine if you know how does it work in here. All the decentralisation blue print is what you should focus on.

If you trading it, then there is versatile portfolio for you to trade. You can choose different analogies here and apply different scripts as and when you see the opportunities coming up front.

Whether the spread of crypto is same as the forex or not I do belive that it is not major concern if you just focus on the crypto.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: February 10, 2018, 03:50:23 AM
i have some bitcoins with me..any tips to invest them...dont want to spend them...should i invest in some ICO ??

You had BTC by the time January when bitcoin was at its bottom point and even down I guess. If you stick like this and don’t even sell your btc then also you can have plenty of profits. Because of the rise in value you will have good chance of earning that margin profit. However you should be patient enough and do not go crazy selling it.  Tongue

On top of this you should not invest into ICO as long as it’s safe to invest because of the same thing, the spams and scams etc.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 09, 2018, 05:40:11 PM
But have you noticed one thing that these things will repeat themselves again and again as the bitcoin will rise this year or next year. Altcoins are completely dependent upon the bitcoin and if this time bitcoins spikes then I’m sure that altcoins will spike too and we will see huge trains this time. I’m getting sense that bitcoin and altcoins patterns are following each other. Just check the CMC where you see exactly same graphs for the bitcoin and even for all alts too. It’s like it is one currency throughout and only the name is different.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: February 03, 2018, 04:27:55 AM
Things are down because of the panic chain thats going on all over the internet. Im not gonna speculate things about the bitcoin like it will be 20K or 15K by end of this month or that month but I'm gonna say that it will spike to greater value than this after period of specific time. This I'm sure about most because the dip never lasts for such long period for which it has lasted currently. The net result is like, many people are awaiting the picture where they will see all the graphs at least to be few % in green zone. This will surely initiate the investment all over the globe and will make detract changes in upward direction. So just that we have to keep track of our investment, if you have some extra then I would suggest to put some more into it and keep the flow at its equilibrium. There is no one who can suggest the prices and exact time to achieve that.
513  Economy / Economics / India to look after blockchain technology application - Budget 2018 Story on: February 02, 2018, 04:39:56 AM
Hello BCT,

Here I'm presenting here the brief story about Budget 2018 for India. Since the launch of this official news from India I have seen panic amongst the BCT users and specially those who are from India.

I am putting forward all the important information that was declared in the Budget portfolio along with the Exclusive interview with Indian Blockchain Committee Head Ajeet Khurana.

Let me clarify first that,

- BITCOIN or any Crypo Currency is not Illegal in the India.
- There was no such commitment made through the Budget 2018
- Indian Government is more than happy to accept the blockchain technology

The Budget 2018, mentioned that PM Narendra Modi asked for the account of crypto currency use in illegitimate way if there is any. Meaning they just don't want that crypto currency is being used in the illegal way within the country and if there is anything like that happening then it should be reported.

After that, FM Arun Jatley mentioned in clear statement that they will look forward to "explore the different usage of the blockchain".

Following to this one Indian Blockchain Head Ajeet Khurana were interviewed on their different views regarding the recent mention of crypto currency in the Budget 2018. In this regard they clearly mentioned this

Quote
YS: What should the end-investor in cryptocurrency take from this announcement?

AK:  There has been no indication by the government that it is banning exchanges. Neither does it stop people from holding a cryptocurrency. It is just saying that the government doesn’t recognise cryptocurrency as money, which no country in the world does except Japan.

There are many more such questionnaire which is important and all are pointing the matter towards psootve approach of the India towards use of crypto currency. So it's better we do not create any FUD from this news.

I hope this will help the community here to understand the matter in complete manner. We will see some interesting achievement of the India and crypto currency use soon. So seat tight and fasten your seat belts for the moon ride.

514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst altcoin you know? on: February 01, 2018, 09:43:07 AM
Courious about this just because the tops are always for the Best or the moust profitable .. what if we know the worst ones .. in your opinion ?

I am still in research fase, but what I saw is that doge coin is one that everyone laugh at , still not sure though because i saw it has quite a good market cap.

Doge is in my list too along with the TRON and VERGE. The later two are just bloody artificial manipulation which were done in the last month. Don’t know how I fell for these coins and inevsted huge money on that. Later on I have seen many threads being created which laughed at TRX and XVG a lot. Then I realised that I have made big mistake by investing into these coins.

About the DOGE, it’s really confusing to me that why such tipping coin is made anyway. I really had faith in that one because is literally being used to trade as crypto pair just the way we would use BTC or ETH. But anyway the results are here in front of us. Nothings good in all of them.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar getting weaker... effects on cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2018, 09:09:01 AM
I find it interesting that the US dollar has been going down, and commodities and gold have been rising. But over this same time frame the cryptocurrency markets have contracted quite a bit. So over the long term, do you see cryptocurrencies rising with gold and other commodities, or do you see it as something that competes directly with gold and oil. Conventional wisdom would tell you that it would rise and fall with other commodities, but this hasn't been the case so far. Or is it too early to see any valuable correlations?

I only have speculation regarding this one and that’s, when the whole commodities thing goes up then the fiat should go down because we are virtually putting all the money into these different assets and thus putting load on the printing of new money. When these assets are sold and we ended up printing too much money then we get huge supply of fiat but no one to use it. So that’s basically devaluation of the fiat. The same thing might be happening at this period, however I don’t see why crypto currencies are supposed to behave depending on the fiat itself.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Budget 2018-19 | Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister of India on Cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2018, 08:26:42 AM
Oh great the Indian budget ledger is published already for India. Well, that’s really bad news that such educated people also not considering the crypto currencies into their account and I belive that’s just because they don’t want to handle much more mess than what they already have with them. The india is very rich country by economy and by all means of investing but they are locking down their own potential by such actions. Anyway we are really small people to talk about such big decisions but as democratic country the people should raise the issue and speak out for crypto currencies.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: By what percentage did your assets go down to during January? on: February 01, 2018, 07:53:38 AM
By what percentage did your assets go down to during January?
P/S: this is not a contest you want to win  Grin

That depends at what prices we have bought the bitcoin. For me my entry points are multiple and last time I bought my bitcoin was in December down surge. The first one I bought was at china fall during year 2017. And the second after that one was first week of the December. This is how my entry was in multiple point and it’s different % drop all over. According this math my first trade is still in +10-12% as I bought the bitcoin at 5k or something. The two of the trades that I made later we’re around 13k or something. So that’s again -30% (approximately), I’m sure overall I’m standing at break even point.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do u follow what politicians say about cryptocurrency? on: January 31, 2018, 01:15:49 PM
They are actually great help for speculators and to be frank they are the most important aspect for the crypto currencies. That’s imagineable because at the end they will be deciding factors/persons of crypto currency fate. Also, if they have already said that crypto is gonna get into their agenda then we must watch for their next meetings and keep an eye on that which will decide the ultimate fate of the bitcoin.

In my country, there are always news about many states government raising the issue of bitcoin use and thousands of transactions that are being done promptly everyday. They think that it’s issue becaus we don’t have any regulations yet.

So whether it’s small government like state govt. or the bigger one, we have to watch them out and what they say is important for us.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $ 100,000 will be in 2018? on: January 31, 2018, 12:17:44 PM
Friends do you think whether the bitcoin of the $ 100,000 course in 2018 will reach. I ask your opinion to justify why you think so. My answer is, yes, I think that bitcoin will be worth or at least will affect this price, because the crypt is now in the growth phase, technology blockchain will be introduced everywhere in different industries.

And why do you think that blockchain technology will be introduced everywhere in the market. Ask yourself that question first and then you will come to know we are lagging the process of implementation by many years. There is no way it will achieve those heights in such small period like one year you are saying.

It’s still not being acceoted by the government itself and how do you think that the introduction to various industries is even imaginable.

Unless and until the political pressure doesn’t go off the chart we can’t be sure about the whole thing.

In addition to all of this, no the prices of the bitcoin won’t reach to $100k at all. It is not even having that much odds due to its various reasons that I explained above.
520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to launch a project? on: January 31, 2018, 11:22:12 AM
I want to launch an ICO, there are manpower, after thinking, how do?

....

This might sound silly. At a bare minimum, I think all a person need do to launch an ICO is create something of value in the crypto currency world that people need and use.

"Create value."

Its not easy to accomplish given the level of competition. There are many famous/legendary software engineers, innovators and inventors who are trying to accomplish this goal which makes things difficult.

If its too difficult to create value in crypto, then perhaps create value elsewhere. Look for a niche area no one is focusing on. Look for something that aligns with your specific talents and skills. There must be something of value you can contribute.

Nice one @Hydrogen, and also I like your name.

Speaking about the OP, yes I do think that they should go out and look for different opportunities in the market. Why just create the ICO which already has become a mess over the time. It’s one of those agenda which should have never come on the list of block chain. But let’s think about it for a moment, a smart guy comes in, thinks to make money out of the block chain and uses the smart contracts of different coins, and gives out the blue print to whole world. Next, ? Here we are crawling for our bitcoin which could have been ruler without any hassle.

ICO is really not a real thing. You could check meta section I belive, if you still want to continue.
