@Suchmoon, could you sign a message from a staked address from your suchmoon account to show that you own it?

I don't have a staked address as I never expected to be in this position. I'll see if I can find one posted somewhere.
Based on all the recent hacks why would you not have a staked address somewhere? I mean if either of those accounts now get compromised then you're stuck without them. I'd advse you stake one.

Suchmoon has at least one old address 1A8DePhATaFEyNBJpuybCA8oYUUZEgUraP (https://web.archive.org/web/20140403105622/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=234771), if you still have access to it you can sign a message with it...although I don't consider this mandatory.

Nice job, thanks. I found it also posted in one of my threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514242 (post has been edited but last edit was 3 years ago).

Message (one line):

This is suchmoon 2018-06-17. I control bitcointalk accounts "suchmoon" and (temporarily) "Gleb Gamow".

Signature:

HM71xTAaD8xyx7ciTaPTmKLBp7Y7Rzm9uQ5MIdhUJh6ZVUPtz2mAEsiyI/4BS5ZQVDnsSnHSWWBw4ur5UjzgxAU=

I don't think this is the attitude someone on DT should have.
If your account gets compromised then it's free to scam people out of anything. You might not put value on your own account, but someone else would.

Well, I would obviously post a warning if I ever lose the account and would request it to be banned/removed from DT/red-tagged etc. But I hear what you're saying. Will fix that soon.

Quoting suchmoon post as it is and the message was successfully verified using http://brainwalletx.github.io/#verify?vrAddr=1A8DePhATaFEyNBJpuybCA8oYUUZEgUraP&vrMsg=This%20is%20suchmoon%202018-06-17.%20I%20control%20bitcointalk%20accounts%20"suchmoon"%20and%20(temporarily)%20"Gleb%20Gamow".&vrSig=HM71xTAaD8xyx7ciTaPTmKLBp7Y7Rzm9uQ5MIdhUJh6ZVUPtz2mAEsiyI%2F4BS5ZQVDnsSnHSWWBw4ur5UjzgxAU%3D

503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: June 16, 2018, 09:12:18 PM
What are these signed message that are so important?

By signing a message, you prove that the staked Bitcoin address is yours.
So, for example, in case your account get hacked, you can create a new one then sign a new message with that Bitcoin address so the admin can restore the hacked account to you.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 16, 2018, 04:20:58 PM
Messi has missed 4 of his last 7 pens. With those numbers, let's see who takes the next pen.

This is a too bad start for Argentina and for him especially. I consider Islande as the one winning the game and I passed the extra 5 minutes asking the referee (in the front of the TV ofc) to end the game, poor Maradona, Messi failed him Tongue
Let's see the performance of Croatie and Nigeria first in this word cup before giving more speculation about this group.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 16, 2018, 01:27:01 PM
next match i think it should give good goals as Argentina is playing against iceland

Hope it will not be a one side match (boring one), Argentina could end it with +2 goals difference and someone has to show his skills and try to beat the actual record of CR.

Posting this mainly to keep following the topic

Can't theymos or Cyrus check the ip addresses? all the previous pms? Find a link between the reported accounts? It is better than speculating whether the account changed hands or not after being already tagged.
(and btw why is Phinnaeus Gage asleep from a +year?)
507  Other / Meta / Re: Trust ratings! on: June 16, 2018, 10:39:35 AM
1. A friend of mine tagged another member with a red tag although he's not a DT member, he said the account he tagged turned red? why is it?
2. Would having someone as my default trust makes his trusts visible to my account? (this seems pretty logical)
3. What does Depth mean? Beside the max of 4, there's number 2 -- DT 1 and DT 2 right? if i changed it what would happen?

1- Yes if you tag an account with a negative trust then you will add to it a negative score.
For example i have 0: -0 / +0, if you add a negative trust to me, you will see -2: -1 / +0 and when you enter to the trust page, you will find your comment on the "Trusted feedback", that's because in "your" setting "you" are part of the default trust. Now for me or for any other member who didn't add you in "our" default trust, nothing will change, we will keep seeing invoking having 0: -0 / +0 but if we look closely to the "Untrusted feedback" and we press "Show ratings" we will find your feedback.

2- If you add someone who isn't part of depth 1 or depth 2 to your default trust, you will see that some Bitcointalkers that had previously 0 trust with -2 and the opposite things for the others which depends from the type of the feedback he left : Negative or positive.
Now if you exclude (~ then name) someone from depth 1 or 2 from your trust settings, his feedbacks will not appear for you anymore in the Trusted feedback but instead in the Untrusted feedback and thus means you will see his feedbacks deducted from the trust rating of users.

3- theymos for example is depth1, think about it like a grandfather, he trusts his children and add them to his circle so they become a depth2 default trust members. Then those children trusted respectively their children also so they become depth3 and so on, so the next generation become depth4.
Press the "Hierarchical view" at the end of the page to have an idea about this.
You can trust only depth1 (theymos, HostFat, dooglus, Maged, dserrano5, OgNasty, Tomatocage,
SaltySpitoon, philipma1957, Cyrus, Blazed, hilariousandco, OldScammerTag) or depth1+2 or 1+2+3 or the four.
Now you can edit your trust settings as you wish and you can personalise it by adding or excluding any member you like but keep in mind that the others will always see depth2 as the default trust (apart from some members who edited it of course).

I hope I was clear in my explanation  Smiley

Talk about sport entertainment! Ronaldo rose to the occasion and wrote the records books by being the first player to score a hattrick against Spain and this puts him in the race for the golden boot and mounts more pressure on other top players like messi,  kane,  neymar and others....hope we see more electrifying like the spain-portugal game

Awesome game, this match should be the final one it would be the best and yeah CR did a good job.
Hope we will see better games in the next days  Wink
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 15, 2018, 05:45:45 PM
congratulations for Iran that they already get 3 points from their debut match on world cup even this is first winning from them since last 20 years and this is could be good history too for other Asian teams because since japan beat Denmark 8 years ago this is first winning to for Asian team since that time

Winning with an own-goal at last minutes isn't something promising, and chances of Morocco decreased significantly now. We will see the game between the boys in the iberian peninsula before giving conclusions about who will pass to the next round.
510  Other / Meta / Re: Trust ratings! on: June 15, 2018, 05:27:40 PM
There are two types of trust ratings:
1. Positive trust and
2. Negative trust.
I am anxious about trust ratings specially negative trust ratings. There are several people whose Negative trust score is more than 60 even 100. I think when a negative trust score we should not believe that person. If so 60 or over negative trust has no scope to be believable and he/she is very much dangerous for the forum. If so, why giving negative trust instead of banning them. I think there should have a rules where will mention after a specific negative trust score account will be banned from the site. Wish expert will express their thinking.

There is a neutral trust also.
What you are seeing now is the default trust system, some users who edited their trust settings see other ratings.. So -32 for you, is 0 for another one, it depends from the guys you trust or not.
And for the point of banning them, the forum indicated that it will not moderate the trust.

I don't like generally to describe someone as something but in special events why not pissing the baos

I think Egypt could still go through though because Russia are mediocre at best and if they can beat Saudi 5-0 then anything is possible.
Prefer to not underestimate the Russian but yeah with Salah it is possible. For the Saudi 10-0 is possible but hell who cares about soccer when they (crown prince obviously) cut the rice importation from you...a little bit serious : politics will have an influence in this match and i doubt the Egyptians will beat the Saudi with more than 2-3 goals Undecided

Funny pic, i like the odds of Japan, Australia, Korea and KSA especially.
I could fix this by :
- changing the title to chances of kicking the whole staff
- new odds = 1/actual_odds

Thanks anyway.

Damn today's game was crazy!
5:0 on the first match??
I still think almost all games will be 0 to 3 goals. Mark my words. Let's see tomorrow hah. I hope so lmao.

Don't worry the record will be beaten by Brazil (not again Tongue) Panama (VS England or Belgium) or Australia (VS France). Those game have a great potential of many goals.

For sure cryptocurrencies changed our lives somehow but i am talking mainly about bitcointalk as a forum and the way it affected our daily lives
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 14, 2018, 06:15:19 PM
Everybody was thinking that Russia would have it difficult this WK and even this match, but the home advantage plays a big role. 5-0 is a score I didn't expect, but it gives a signal to the rest.

A high score of 5-0 prove in fact that there is 0 home advantage and there is 0% of luck.
The Saudi team is weak and the Russian played well, besides Putin was there so no jokes (just kidding) and the big idiot Saudi crown prince was also there so in his face  Grin

I thought about seeing your response to this question since I experienced a weird thing today.
Dreams are something that we experienced all and it has a variety of themes. Today, my dream was consisted in being banned from bitcointalk, i don't remember many details but I remember reporting shitposts then posting something controversial tho? then a mod (dunno but theymos or h&co say to me something now) banning me then I woke up or at least that's what I remember at the moment.

Bitcointalk is being a part from my life now Lips sealed
So did you experience something similar?
This topic isn't intended for shit-posting and I will remove only low-quality posts...

the situation on the crypto market will change soon due to new policy accepted by the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs in December last year.
-snip-
The financial technology regulation will come into effect starting June 2019.

The exchanges could just force the European citizens (+ Japanese) where the KYC is imposed afaik to reveal their identities, without forcing it for others from countries that didn't have any regulations yet, no? Or should the exchanges impose these rules to everyone in this planet or else it will be prohibited?
