Hey guys, my friends and I were down 90% of our crypto portfolio. We bought at the highs and we bought shitcoins. Now we are still down significantly and i just want to ask if you guys have strategy to recover from this? Cheers!

I'm sure people here certainly believe in crypto. With the market conditions that have not fully increased. But if seen from the movement it is possible that market conditions will increase towards 2020. If that happens, of course the cryptocurrency will survive. I have been thinking with many predictions that Bitcoin has already hit the bottom at 3k during december. Charts already showing we are bullish and Bitcoin has been breaking certain resistance in past few weeks.
If the price keeps increasing steady I believe Bitcoin can hit 10K before the end of 2019. The higher the increase in the price of bitcoin the more fiat is needed to get a fraction the ultimate digital currency (BTC). The time to get some crypto and start learning trading bitcoin is now if bitcoin hits new ATH in the near future fiat would only be able to buy fractions of bitcoin.
I believe the time is now for people who missed bitcoin in its early years or else only institutional investors would have the power of buying bitcoin!!

I think that EOS still needs to prove itself. It does seem very popular, but a lot of this is still hype, so that may be pushing the price higher than would otherwise be justified. So I'm not convinced it will rocket up to a much higher price. I do think it is likely to remain top 10 though.

After a hundreds hours of gambling I found out that it's pretty hard to stop playing. Gambling becomes a strong addiction and has a negative impact on other aspects of life. When a country declares something illegal, it becomes an offence to be part of it or engage in it even if it is legal in neighbouring countries. As long as Bangladesh does not change their decision, it is the moral duty for the citizens to abide by the rules of the country. If anyone still involve in bitcoin then he cannot complain as the rules comes first before the bitcoin. The best option for the Bangladesh people is to stop bitcoin trading for the time being and sign a petition to legalize bitcoin in their country and make efforts so that government is forced to change its decision. Rules needs to be followed sad truth in part of those who's residing inside Bangladesh as the government still not open for this opportunities, the society needs to do legal actions such as petitions if they really wanted to reverse this law under their government, if the majorities can joined hands and do legal actions to push the government to reconsider this act, until then they need to comply with the government rules. |

Well, I agree that we don't need to speculate. FOMO is just for them who are not willing to learn something that related to their area. if we have enough knowledge to do anything, we can speculate it, even it won't be right but at least we have a reasonable basis.
Speculation does not always mean being fomo. It can just be predictions at to what price is going to be on a future date and then preparing accordongly from beforehand. The Reddit storm of speculation is definitely cancerous and something to avoid. Most of the accounts there are just shills promoting their shitcoins and blabbering like kids playing in the backyard. But normal secularism does happen and the wall observe threads are proof of that. Preparing your target and setting up your mindset to make sure that you already condition everything for proper accordance to what extent you think that value will be reached, there's always people who will shares point of views in order to gain attentions, they will try to promote and brings something out from what they've think market will go, real traders won't relied on it but to create its own directions. Now, after a hard year there need to be more incentives for investors from coin dealers and project managers just to sell tokens. There are ETOs, but the concept seems to work for bigger entities. Dividend is more down to earth approach. Do you believe that it would be more and more normal for coins/tokens to offer additional stream of income just to get investors on board? I think every decision of the firm makes in the profit, dividends of the investors have been planned well in a way that both parties will be happy. Addition coins or tokens added to the usual dividends may have operational problems and it may not be good to the both parties for if one is unhappy, it will be hard to work with one another. Usually it takes time before everything will be settled, the team behind will put attractive promises and investors will take the risk, but that high hopes will not be materialize if there's only plenty of investors to joined, the system only will works progressively if there's enough support that will bring this investment into reality, it takes time and extra efforts for the team to promote and continuously updating the followers since they need to maintain the value of their projects to make some good dividends or their investors. Passive profits can be achieved when the value of coins will not fall down, maintaining the price will give good profits for investors who trust the project. |
