501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 29, 2015, 01:29:50 PM
I'm here because i just spent 2 days arguing with them during their 'bum-rush' of the CoinMarketCap thread and when I asked them basic questions they run off.
...
If your toxic devs weren't ... I wouldn't be here.

If you are saying that you are here bent on retaliation, then you are welcome to leave.

If you have substantive points to make, you're welcome to make them, but continuing to repeat that Monero devs are "toxic" according to you "toxic" because we feel that instamined coins should be clearly identified as such does not count as substantive points.

My substantive point is that it's my opinion that Monero's value is being rapidly reduced by the toxic actions/behaviour of the Monero core devs (LIKE YOU) and I am giving the reasons for that and asking your investors to fix it for 3 reasons 1) You are taking up a hell of a lot of other people's time including me 2) you are saying 'fuck you' to every Monero investor when you do this sh*t  3) you are the biggest hypocrite on BCT I ever saw - how can you even show your face to your community when you are doing this instead of ***developing***.

You jumping in here within 5 seconds and trying to police that / silence me is hardly surprising.

BlockaFett, if I wanted to police/silence you here, your posts would already be deleted.

What evidence is there for Poloniex being a "fake exchange"?

Who pointed out the crippled mining code to us?

"BlockaFett, if I wanted to police/silence you here, your posts would already be deleted."  Except then you would look more scammy than you already do.

"What evidence is there for Poloniex being a "fake exchange"? I don't - it's a subjective opinion.  People don't need to prove opinion's Smooth, this is basic argumentation.

"Who pointed out the crippled mining code to us?" I don't know but this suggests that you don't either?  Why are you asking me?

So I responded to your questions, but main thing I notice is you evaded my point - interesting that you don't deny the real point I am making, on this, a thread speculating on Monero value.

djeezes dude, I've been reading the forum for several years now, I almost never post... but I gotta say, you are the worst discussion-partner I ever read, this isn't even trolling, it's worse...

best regards though, and good luck in life with your 'opinions'

502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 23, 2015, 11:26:33 AM

well there you have it... and now the developers pick up money a second time by creating lots of masternodes... devteam isn't trustworthy imo so the coin isn't either...

best regards
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 23, 2015, 11:07:00 AM
mhh thinking about to sell all my moneroj. It looks like dash will become the leader of anon Undecided

I'll take them too...

Why would it be Dash? The way I see it, it works just like coinjoin with a few adaptations... Everyone who has more than 1000 DASH can start a masternode. These masternodes can form the masternode-network which takes care of the mixing of transactions... That sounds like a kind of centralisation, if there is eavesdropping on your masternodes you can forget about anonimity...
And because these masternodes give extra servicing to the network (processing power, bandwidth, ...) they also get paid, not only the miners, but also the masternodes. As a consequence most people will put their masternode on an always online server. Which is the most used kind of server for masternodes, you guessed it, Amazon... Yup, you're reading it right, the biggest part of the anonymous transactions are mixed via American servers... That's great news for the NSA...

and about the 1000 DASH-limit... only people with 1000+ DASH can start a masternode and get paid... this leads inevitably to a DASH-aristocracy... and then there's also the stories about the instamine etc...

Do what you want, but I'm staying away from this one!

1) Worldcoin:
- great development team (check http://worldcoinfoundation.org/en)
- building an exchange --> decoupling from bitcoin: check: https://scharmbeck.com/
- superfast transaction speed (30 seconds): check: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv_hkKj39AE
- not too much inflation --> 256 milion coins --> same ratio to bitcoin as ratio silver to gold
- constant high network hashrate --> people believe this coin has a future and keep mining it
- was already on cnbc --> pretty positive about it, even mentioned more than litecoin  Grin : check: http://www.msnbc.com/the-cycle/watch/cashing-in-on-bitcoin-111318083837
- ...
2) Dogecoin:
- very good community
- great hype

just my 2 cents,

greetings

Now WorldCoin has another nice feature:
https://twitter.com/wdcfoundation/status/423177647028326400

very good for fast implementation by merchants... this coin should do well...

greetings

507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin [WDC] mentioned on MSNBC's "The Cycle" on: January 10, 2014, 03:11:29 PM
I think wdc can defeat LTC even in the end!But it can take longer then you think! I dont think there gone be such big prince change after feb . Maybe 1 wdc / 0.75 dollar..

might take longer than one thinks indeed... But Scharmbeck to me looks like they're professional, site feels smooth, it's not some weird trading platform where you just deposit your money on some account somewhere... I guess I just wanna say that people might be faster to trust something like Scharmbeck, than to trust some other trading-platforms... And in the end isn't that the key to broad adoption of cryptocurrencies, making sure that the non-technical user can use it in safety without having to worry all the time...
They say fiat-money is based on trust, but crypto's need some trusting too :-) (though it's different, i know)

well, just my 2 cents, could be wrong off course...

greetings
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin [WDC] mentioned on MSNBC's "The Cycle" on: January 10, 2014, 12:17:24 PM

509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin [WDC] mentioned on MSNBC's "The Cycle" on: January 10, 2014, 11:54:03 AM
That's nice...

Worldcoin is clearly mentioned as a cryptocoin with future (it's mentioned even more than litecoin --> SCORE!  Grin)... I think it's awfully cheap right now, in february you'll be able to buy WDC straight away via Scharmbeck without having to buy BTC first, we might see a little jump in the price...
I hope to soon see some merchants accepting WDC, the fast transaction-speed should be a motivator for them, when merchants start to accept them I see a bright future for WDC... let's hope they do, i like this coin.

congratz to the development team for their great work!!!!

greetings
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Want to see how easy it is to buy Worldcoin [WDC] with Scharmbeck? on: January 03, 2014, 04:26:11 PM
nice, I hope EUR/WDC will be possible too in the future!

512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-24.com matching engine seems broken, site down. on: April 15, 2013, 01:15:03 PM
I think you are right bitbadger... why would someone leave his name and address, and even pictures of himself all over the internet if he wants to commit a scam...

I think/hope Simon is a sincere guy, but he's sitting on a huge pile of shit atm...

It would be nice though if he communicated more clearly en set an ETA for his exchange to reopen...

best regards,
