501  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 11, 2021, 09:44:49 PM
Yeah, I understand cryptocurrencies are volatile, high risk investments. But, are you guys expecting a market crash anytime soon?
Every investor should be expecting a crash. For a while we have had a bull run on some cryptocurrencies and it's not here to stay for ever it's wise to take profit. Set a target price to pick out profit at each rally up so the market don't take people unaware. In as much as it's difficult to predict the market it's always good to maintain a good profit target so you don't get trapped and taken unaware
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you think of Meta (Facebook) allowing bets in the metaverse on: November 11, 2021, 05:17:00 AM
It will be the same as other VR games out there, I feel like the only difference is that this one is backed by a big tech companies. To be honest, I think that this is a useless one since we have VR chat already so why not capitalize on the existing technology and innovate there or even create your projects there. Also, I feel like gambling is going to be one of their main interests since Facebook doesn't support that in their platform then I don't think that in their Metaverse will it be any different.
There are lots of VR chats already but I just feel metaverse would have a wider adoption it wouldn't be useless if metaverse allows betting as it would bring in more realistic real world experience for those who love to gamble and it won't be compulsory for all it would just be a Matter of ones interest.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more long term bear market on: November 11, 2021, 05:07:01 AM
If bear market is going to happen in 2022 it won't last long like the past because this adoption of a thing is 10x more stronger than the past, if you think that all crypto coins are going to lose 90% of their value again you are dreaming, oh unless Covid 2.0 happens
No one can guess or control the market movement. If a dip occur in 2022 it would be another opportunity to  buy irrespective of how long or short the dip occur. Most times adoption isn't a prerequisite for how market direction move although it works sometimes but not a guarantee. Investors are always waiting handy to take advantage of any available opportunity to make good profit
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 04:48:01 AM
To get security, of course dividing money into many types of investments is a wise thing, right now I invest in stocks and property, we just set which portion is bigger, for now I make bitcoin the largest portion compared to others, this is because investing in bitcoin has proven to be more profitable even when property is down.
It's safer not to put all eggs in one basket. Cryptocurrency investment is too risky but it's ROI is sometimes very rewarding so to avoid losing out spreading ones investment between both is better other than investing totally in crypto. One can still invest in stocks as well and other centralized portfolios
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: November 10, 2021, 06:41:49 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will touch the 1 million milestone in 2022? I think Bitcoin will cross 80 thousand dollars in 2022. What do you think?
1 million dollar is a hyped speculation. I would  predict a new ATH at $200k. A million dollar is far from the current highs and it's looks way impossible.  2022 would be another bullish year for Bitcoin but before we experience this bullish run another big dip should be expected
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 09, 2021, 10:45:20 PM
Trading is a game of risk, therefore, not everybody can do it.Trading is meant for the determined,it is meant for people who are not scared to take risk,it is for people who despite loosing once, they are still optimistic about winning again.
Most people can invest, because because it is safe,it does not carry so much risk, but trading needs your regular attention, it requires strategies in running it.It is indeed not meant for everybody.
Trading needs a total focus and commitment. Unlike investment where you hold for as long as you can and even if the project fails you still have some reserved fund because definitely not everything will wipe off. But for trading a trading account can go down within seconds if a wrong analysis is used
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it safe to buy now? on: November 09, 2021, 08:41:37 PM
The logic for investment is buying low and selling high and currently Bitcoin has a new ATHs is it safe to encourage new investor to buy now seeing how high the price has gone? My fear for new investors is that the don't experience a dip after buying since no one is sure of how far the new highs will reach.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors desire on meme coins are insane on: November 09, 2021, 08:32:10 PM
public secret fact is they can give you much profit than the main coin. you put little fund, harvest big deal in thr end.
It is just for the lucky people who choose the right meme coins. In reality, many people also have lost their funds because the prices of those meme coins are dropped constantly after the hype is gone. So, don't only consider the advantage of meme coins, please take a look at the bad side.
Many have lost funds investing in meme coins and likewise many have made good fortune in the same meme and the funny thing about meme coins there is nothing to research about it's just a lucky venture. If your are lucky with the hype you smile at your investment if the opposite occur then you just bear the loss

Quote
No matter how big the benefits are offered by those meme coins, they are always too risky coins to invest, better to avoid. Especially if you are a newcomer, just stay away from those coins that only rely on the hype. You probably just become one of the victims of the pump-dump scheme there.

Even the hype at times might just be an overhype I think it's better to trade with risk management. Risking an amount that looks reasonable because this meme coin staring joy in the air might roll out tears in the future it's just similar to a gambling coin
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: November 09, 2021, 08:08:18 PM
Regulatory issues for cryptocurrency have actually been around for a long time.  In fact, it was several years ago.  But it seems, in the past year or so, it has become a serious topic of discussion in several countries.  And it seems, some countries will soon implement it.  What I personally think is, if true, many countries start implementing regulations for crypto currency, will this change the nature of crypto, namely decentralization to not being fully decentralized?  What do your friends think here?  Please share, hopefully this can add insight for all of us 😊🙏
The nature of crypto cannot be altered the only the only effect this regulatory agencies would have will only reflect on exchanges. It's obvious why most countries are fighting against cryptocurrency adoption is because the can't gain a complete control of its flow and so the try to discourage it's useage. But in as much as there are custodial and non custodial wallets it's upto the user to remain decentralized , partially decentralized or centralized
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Who wants to do what. Jobs or business.. on: November 09, 2021, 08:01:18 PM
Both jobs and business could be lucrative depending on the nature of job you are hired for and the kind of business as well. Most paid jobs are even more lucrative than owning a business everything boils down to the skill you are been hired for and how much the demand for such skills is daily alongside the solution gap it's filling up in industries
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Jefferies sells Gold to buy Bitcoin on: November 09, 2021, 07:56:40 PM
It is yet another example that Bitcoin is the best safe-haven asset and the best hedge against inflation, managers start acting as if it were:
This shouldn't be an investment advice because the risk associated with the inflation could be as devastating as the present reward. Jefferies must have gone against his initial phobia for crypto after seeing a new ALHs and buying at this point is a bit riskier than anyother time in the Bitcoin Market because it's either the price surge higher or a devastating drop in price occur
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy vs. anonymity on: November 07, 2021, 09:52:44 PM
I do care alot about both anonymousity and privacy but I think I have none since my exchange is completely centralized and for me to do reasonable transaction my KYC has to be verified. Just like Op I just wish my online life will just reboot so I can decide on how to shy away from any centralized platform
513  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 07, 2021, 09:14:02 PM
Most of the listed courses above are professions not just a skill and people earn up to doctorate degree in pursuit of those courses. But it can still be acquired outside the four walls of a learning environment which could be online majorly from most free academies that offer this courses free. The cycle of life is gradually changing and approach to problems is taking a new format, so acquiring a digital skills can actually come in handy
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 05, 2021, 07:33:55 AM
So i guess that in the tomorrows evening match between Mainz and Gladbach that Mainz will lose this game .
Even they are good at home , but if Gladbach keeps playing as they have done it the last weeks they have no chance.
So my bet goes for a Gladbach win 2 : 1 on this match , hopefully we dont see another surprising result.
Are you scared of surprises? 😂
That's what makes gambling what it is. If you don't get surprised then you didn't gamble. But for the outcome Mainz might just decide to play a defensive game although and if by chance the get a goal they can just decide to defend it until the 90' is over. I might predict a draw game here
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 05, 2021, 07:25:47 AM
I only do sports betting and the only sports I choose for betting is cricket. Actually gambling is illegal in my country, its only because of crypto people like me can participate in gambling. IMO sports betting is less risky then gambling on games that are entirely based on luck like dice rolling.
No gambling is risk free even sports betting has it's own risk attached. The only advantage cricket has over dice is that for dice it's based on a probability outcome but for cricket you wager on a particular team to either win or lose but both doesn't guarantee any form of winning. I also wager on sports games generally depending on where I decide to place my bets either offline or online
516  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies on: November 04, 2021, 02:36:40 PM
The only similarity between CBDCs and crypto currency is that most CDBC are built on the Blockchain network but they presence of the third party involvement has discredited it from been a cryptocurrency. CBDC is just a digital fiat currency that is created to easy or fasten transaction digitally but not with the mind of replacing fiat it serves basically as a compliment.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: November 04, 2021, 02:18:21 PM
Tron Coin has been in the market for long now, and also has it's own blockchain, the project is strong, up and doing, the tron project is much more better than doge coin in terms of usability and has a lot to offer, but due to good marketing and shilling power doge coin has being doing much more better than tron Coin, but I can say the tron Coin can still do better in the coming months if the market continue being bullish, but am kind of surprised how such a good project token is still so much undervalued, well I think all they need now is good marketing.
If it's about Tron useage alone it would remain less relevant compared to Doge. The ecosystem which Tron exist on it's a self made ecosystem but still not a guarantee for a price hike. This coin has been in existence for quite a long time but lack a good influencing mechanism. If the developers can't get it hyped then the should get an influencer do the whole hype for them
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In which ICO to invest ? on: November 04, 2021, 02:07:54 PM
Hi everyone

we hear less about ICOs than a few years ago. I Know that several website exist where we can find information about the next ICO, but who is going to invest in some of them in the following weeks ? Which one and why ?

ICOs and IEOs has left the shore most investors now dwell more on NFTs but every process is risky and opened to scammers so I don't mind listing some ICOs I would include to my project once I am done doing my research although the research isn't still satisfactory in terms of investment advice but it would help guide me on more riskiest ICOs
519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn from others experience on: November 04, 2021, 01:49:32 PM
Getting to learn from others experience means reading and constantly reading so that falling into the same mistake that cost an individual to lose an account would not be repeated. As far the forum is concerned mistakes are inevitable because most people are just too desperate to make progress without considering the price needed to be payed to get it. There is actually no short cut to this process learn and watch the earning come in too easy
520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto influencers be like on: November 04, 2021, 01:39:53 PM
Crypto projects can't survive without influencers at times mostly for new projects with good solutions. This where trading with caution comes in handy. Without influencers some good projects dies off because the lack investors. Been risk conscious for each crypto hype will save a lot of future losses and serve as a guide to quality investment plan.
