5001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: November 09, 2018, 10:02:11 PM
Yeah, the news and current even does have an affect on the prices of bitcoin. Usually, when positive news and an event takes place, we usually see a small price rise temporarily. The opposite thing happens for the bad news. We see the price start dropping tremendously when there is some negative news such as popular exchanges being hacked. People starts to panic and sell of their coins listening to those bad news or jumps into the hype train when a good news is being spread. This is one another reason why we should make sure what we read online or hear is actually true.
5002  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: November 09, 2018, 09:22:29 PM
The prices won't be stable (like sort of it is now) if a sudden mass adoption takes place. The supply of bitcoin is limited and the amount that is being generated and spread through out the market is low. If there is a sudden adoption of bitcoin, this will mean high demand but the same supply amount. This in turn means that the price will start to fluctuate a lot due to heavy selling (cashing out profit) and buying (storing it for long term).
You never know what will happen to the market and when will it change. You just need to keep faith on it and keep holding it. Remember, you still have the same amount of coins. You aren't losing any coins as the price goes up and down.
5003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 09, 2018, 08:59:45 PM
indeed it is currently a very bad condition and very difficult for all crypto users. all crypto users must be able to overcome this difficult problem by holding their assets so that they do not experience huge losses or sell assets when they are at the same price point when buying. everyone can't avoid this critical problem. crypto supply in the trading market is very abundant so the crypto price will get worse. this must be overcome by limiting the amount of crypto in circulation. if there is no maximum amount, crypto will get worse.
To be honest, sometimes just holding isn't the best option. If you see the price go down and you somehow know/see that the price is to dip more soon, then it is better to sell before the dip and buy more when the minimum price is reached. This way, you will be able to maximize your total profit. It is also better to let go some coins if you see another coin that has much better potential then the current one.
5004  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Currency on: November 09, 2018, 08:29:03 PM
This same topic 'BTC as a currency or an asset' will keep surfacing every year until the governments takes final decision on it. But to say the fact, BTC lacks some basic property of what a currency should have and also if BTC should price up to $1B, this means 1sats is gonna be like $1 which may not be practical for products less than $1. I think BTC is better off as an assets rather than a currency.
Why would we need a decision from the government? You know that crypto currencies are decentralized, right? This means that no one has central power over it. No one (even the government) has control over it. It is not up to the government to decide whether bitcoin should be used as an asset or currency. It is up to  the people if they want to use it as a currency or asset. Just don't forget, bitcoin was made to use it as a currency though.
5005  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 08, 2018, 03:15:36 PM
Cryptocurrencies will replace the traditional money in the future. It will be less controlled than traditional money. On the other side, it will be easier to use. People will use it as an instrument of transaction and not as an object of trade and speculation.
What makes you think that crypto currencies will replace fiat currency? Have ever thought of other third world currencies where internet access is limited? If crypto currencies take over as the only currency, then those countries will be neglected more and will eventually cease to exist. Crypto currencies might take over, but that will happen after dozens of decades, after hundreds of generation. But until then fiat and crypto currencies will prevail side by side.
5006  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: November 08, 2018, 02:06:54 PM
Actually if you are tired about the cryptocurrency you can simply quit and leave its not like that, you say un nice words and opinions about the crypto. I understand where you came from but hope that what you experiencing right now will end and you finally found peace in your heart. I know you enjoy cryptoin the past,  if your not happy  then you are free to go.
Aren't you being too harsh on him? He had a rough time with crypto currencies. This does not necessarily means that you will start bashing him and encourage to leave the community. Instead, you should be consolidate him and encourage him to stay. You should be enlightening him and sharing your own experience to make him feel better. Right now we can not afford to lose people from the community. The more we have, the strong the currency will be.
5007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Endorsed Cryptocurrency on: November 07, 2018, 08:35:02 PM
Please don't waste your time on those coins. Don't even think of investing on those coins. Those are some shitty coins that has been made with no potential usage. They are either clone of some other coins or are just plain crap. You are better off investing on some real crypto currencies that has some actual usage with huge potential. Not only will you be saving yourself from losses but also be supporting those coins along with making huge profits.
5008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is most likely going to die, here is why... on: November 07, 2018, 08:32:06 PM
Over the years it seems to be "eliminated", but bitcoin still lives and develops very strongly. Also, if you want to stop bitcoin transactions, you almost have to crash the internet, so the chance of bitcoin death is very low.
Those are just FUDs being spread so the prices can be dumped and the whales can buy them for cheap. These bullshits are so common right now that spreading those news has actually become ineffective. People now understands that what is right and what is wrong in this case. By the way, stopping transactions does not mean you have killed bitcoin. As long as bitcoin has a single unit value, it is still alive.
5009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue? on: November 07, 2018, 08:26:19 PM
Central bank giving no resistance? Who are they going to resist  Huh ? There is no central authority in bitcoin, thus there is no way the bank will be able to stop bitcoin. There is no way they can stop everyone from using bitcoin. The case would have been different if bitcoin was centralized. The government could have taken down those central authority and stop the usage. Fortunately, that is not the case. Do you think the government was or will be able to stop torrenting? If they can stop torrenting, there are chances that they will be able to stop usage of crypto currencies.
5010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: November 07, 2018, 08:15:32 PM
I've been working hard on everything about crypto, but my efforts don't seem to get any response, fraud projects are still growing, and they look so perfect!
Then I guess you haven't been analyzing them properly at all. There are always some kind of signs if the project is about to be a scam. You probably missed those signs. Next time make sure you thoroughly analyze what you are investing into. Or just don't invest on those projects. Invest your money on the current top crypto currencies. They are way less risky to hold on rather compared to projects.
5011  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: November 07, 2018, 08:05:03 PM
Before asking this question, have you ever gave a thought if the fiat currencies are backed by anything? If not then how is the value determined? The value of fiat money comes up because of supply and demand relationship. Since it is not backed by any kind of physical commodity like gold, if people loses faith on fiat currency, then the paper notes will become worthless. Same thing goes for bitcoin. The value is derived because of supply and demand. The value will exist as long as people have faith on it.
5012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: November 07, 2018, 07:56:12 PM
Frankly speaking, all these polls won't be helping you in anyway to choose a crypto currency to invest on. Instead you might end up taking the wrong decision and lose everything. Taking financial advice from random strangers isn't the best thing to do. People will tend to be biased when it comes to suggesting other people. The will always support coins that they have invested into even if that coin is a total shit hole. You are better off finding and analyzing your own coin.
5013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: November 07, 2018, 06:50:51 PM
I think there are no many choices since the crypto market is actually down. Almost all the good cryptocurrencies have low prices nowadays, and selling with this low rates isn't the best choice for many crypto traders. So the unique solution is holding until the price increase again.
This is exactly what the user wants to know, why would you keep on holding it during a bearish market? There is some logic to the question. If the market is bearish, isn't it better to sell off what you have and buy back with lower price? Wouldn't that make more sense? After the bearish market, when the price starts to rise, you would actually be making more and maximum profit.
The only problem here is, if everyone starts selling, then the price might dip down further which might discourage other users from investing in the future. This will also cause the recovery stage to last longer.
5014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: November 07, 2018, 06:33:28 PM
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
There is a reason why they are in the top 100s. They are well known and have active community along with some good developers. Chances of them surviving on the market is high. They also have low risk when holding them for a long term. On the other hand, coins that are not well known and not listed on the top 100 are actually some clone coins with no clear sign of potential. You might make some quick profit from it (due to active dumper and pumpers trying to scam people) if you get lucky, but holding for a long term will only cause you to suffer.
5015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: November 07, 2018, 06:20:35 PM
Oh I just started random. Knew the risks, but still wanted to try. Didn't read anything, all i knew was buy low sell high with marginal profit. Unfortunately, it did not end up good for me. I actually lost everything. But fortunately, the amount was low. I just wanted to try and see how it feels like when trading.
The best thing to do is learn first. Analyze the market. Listen to what people have to say (that does not necessarily mean that you have to believe what they say). Choose some coins that has high fluctuation rate. Start low, gain some experience. Once you are comfortable with it, start trading normally.
5016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in a new ICO. on: November 07, 2018, 03:12:55 PM
I would suggest not to invest in ICOs. You are better off investing on other top trending crypto currencies even though they have high fluctuation rate that is price stability issue. At least you won't be getting scam. You have to risk when investing. But still if you want to invest on ICOs, i would suggest you to be careful and do proper research and analysis before you invest. Make sure you do a check on the developers and how much potential the project has.
5017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: November 03, 2018, 02:34:11 PM
I've heard that some people sell on the black market gigabytes of databases of people who have sent their personal data to unknown people.
Yeah, they might do that. There are ICOs that are initiated just to scam people. After successfully scamming those people, they end up selling their information (ID, address, bills etc) on the black market to earn more. If they can scam people, they will not hesitate to do this too. That is why, while sharing your information, make sure you are sending it to a very trusted project/people. Not some random project which are developed from their basements.
5018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think some bounty managers are sadist on: November 03, 2018, 02:28:04 PM
What do you mean sadist? in terms of what dude? But as far as I know there are some managers are taking advantage of their position to cheat the campaign, like some are cheating, stealing some token of their participants, sometimes they will kick you out without any reason after the hard work you've done for the campaign, then sometimes managers got tempted because of a huge amount of money when sending the fund to them for the budget in bounty project.
If you find anyone doing that, then it is your responsibility to let the community know. Also let the concerned people who are involved in the project know. This will cause the bounty manager to lose its job and trust in the community. As far as I know, no bounty manager would do anything without any legitimate reason. They get paid more than they will be able to scam.
5019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade? on: November 03, 2018, 02:24:28 PM
Hey guys, what do you prefer, hold till the end or trading? I know that people who are holding are actually saving crypto from total fall. But is it profitable to hold?
Trading and holding are two different things and depends totally on you. If you want to make quick short term profits, then you can trade to make those profits. Though, risks are high while trading and you should keep yourself invested on the market so that you don't miss out the opportunity to buy low or sell high. But when holding, you hold for long term as long as your profit goal isn't reached. This is less riskier if you plan to hold for long term.
5020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHEN WILL WE BE OUT on: November 03, 2018, 02:22:35 PM
No one knows when the price will rise. It all depends on whether people starts investing on it or starts to cash out their profit. The whales have more influence in this case. Another factor is the global events. If something positive takes place, then we might see the price rise within a short term. The same goes for the opposite news, prices might get dumped further. Just keep holding it. Remember, you didn't lose anything. You still have the same number of ethereum you were holding before.
