5001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 23, 2020, 12:57:24 AM
But yeah why seems no one is offering this? Is there no good returns if insurance for gamblers may be  opened ?

I thinks this is worth investing ,because all they do is spending and not thinking for what tomorrow may bring.

It's just encouraging more gamblers and even non-gamblers to gamble. Someone can get addicted and ruin their life without hesitating to gamble just because they are insured. Gambling is voluntary so it's not anyone's fault if they ruin their life because of this.
5002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 22, 2020, 10:25:00 AM
Taking a loan just to invest in crypto is a big risk to do. It doesn't give you a guaranteed profit. You're just hyped this time because you see it's pumping. But when market is going down you, I'm sure you never thought of getting a loan to buy crypto. And there's also a chance that you will pay the loan with your own money or salary if the market is not good at that time.
5003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help with Crypto Signals on: December 22, 2020, 09:34:43 AM
For example: https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTC.D/uFk6Lzpt-Biggest-AltSeason-ever-loading-MyCryptoParadise-crypto-signals/

Can I trust these or should I do what other investors are doing and follow their lead?

This is just a prediction and it's up to you if you would trust them. Just remember that don't blame anyone if their prediction didn't happen and you lose money because you followed them. If you're really serious to do trading, it's better to learn it yourself. That way you can also improve by learning from your mistakes.
5004  Economy / Economics / Re: Need not just stimulus but usdt stimulus on: December 22, 2020, 07:28:13 AM
To help crypto we need usdt stimulus.

Exchangers should do air drops of usdt to active traders. Yes the government do stimulus and cheap loans but yet this funds are not going in crypto economy so fed should directly start working with USDT and Every time fed printing money there will be USDT airdrops also for crypto traders and active traders rewards Smiley

Exchangers is a business so you can't ask or force them to give free money to its users. They also pay taxes to maintain it. They don't force you to trade on their platform if you can't. While stimulus is provided by the government only because to keep the economy going. Without it, there is a possibility that their economy would crash.
5005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 03:52:12 AM
Cash out if you want to take profit now. But if you think bitcoin's price will increase more for the coming years and you don't need yet the money you invested on bitcoin then HODL.  Like me, besides bitcoin, I still earn an income from my salary so that is what I use on my spendings. Bitcoin for me is a long-term investment that I will just sell mine when I retire.
5006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 22, 2020, 12:48:26 AM
As far as I onow there is something like this but is exclusive in Japan only. But there is a catch. It has to be golf and the parameters are as folows:

*Must be playing golf with an acquaintance or a friend
*Must be betting to get a hole-in-one
*Must get a hole in one

Under these conditions, the person who sinked the ball will have to automatically throw a party that may cost him/her something from $4900-$8000. And so, insurance companies in Japan includes these in their packages so winners don't have to pay for the party leaving them cashless in the process.

That can't be considered insurance IMO. It's more like a promotion to attract more golfers in that place. If it's in their culture to throw a party when they sink a ball then that place offering that kind of "insurance" will earn tons of profit. Out of 100 balls being hit, think how many to that is sink. If it's only 10 or less then they are surely earning a lot from that.
5007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: December 21, 2020, 10:00:01 AM
If it doesn't pump yet but not what they call shitcoin then it's good to buy some of that. Some altcoin's I've been following have started pumping like ltc and xrp so I think it's risky now to invest on those, while others like DOT and LNK hasn't pumped yet in terms of btc value. Just remember that if you want to trade altcoins, DYOR or else you'll be a bagholder of that coin for a long time.
5008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 21, 2020, 08:39:50 AM
how or where did you first discover Bitcoin?

I found bitcoin way back 2016 or 2017, not sure exactly but its price at that time was only $200 and I got interested to it because it gave me some extra money to use in my studies.

Did you mine on your laptops?

Never tried it because I've read that it overheats your device that it mustn't be done on a simple pc or laptop.

Did you buy from MTGox or one of those early days trade platform's?

Nope, I was not into trading that time. All I know is to gamble using bitcoin.

And, most importantly, did you sell too soon? Or luckily, did you hodl till now?

I'm still hodling now though I plan to sell before the year ends then buy again at correction. Greediness is really hard to overcome when you keep thinking that it will pump more.
5009  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 21, 2020, 03:27:25 AM
what are you gonna do if u have millions dollars of cash ? are  you  gonna spend it all for ferrari high class car or invest bitcoin for survive ?

Not all would be put up in bitcoin if I do have a million dollars of cash.It would be diversified on different investment.

-Gold
-Crypto
-Stocks
-Physical type of business
-Savings -Time deposit

I wont really be risking out on a single place.Just want to play safe.

Same for me. As they say, don't put all your eggs in one basket. If crypto or bitcoin crashes, then you would feel depressed because you didn't diversify all of that money. Imagine if you're one of those people who invested on 2017's ATH. They just recently recovered their loss after 3 years of hodling if they didn't sold it yet.
5010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn’t the correction happened yet? Or has it? on: December 21, 2020, 01:53:02 AM
I'm also afraid why correction hasn't happened yet. With this continuous rally, it's scary how low we can go if bitcoin's hype ends. Though the price is really satisfying in the value of fiat we should know that everything that goes up eventually goes down. Let's just hope that it won't crash hard like what happened in 2018.
5011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: December 21, 2020, 12:57:32 AM
Yes, it's one of the original cryptocurrencies with bitcoin but IMO it's not that good if you're after is profit. There are other altcoins worth to hodl that can give you huge return. Doge's price doesn't move that much that it only pumps when you don't even expect it to.
5012  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $24k another new all time high on: December 20, 2020, 10:31:03 AM
Not to be pessimistic but I'm afraid now when the hype ends. A pump like this will always end and no one knows when and how low will that be. I'm just hoping that it won't go below $20k or worse than that. Many people are being hyped now like 2017 and I hope they've already learned their lesson.
5013  Economy / Economics / Re: The Way how things are going and fiat and crypto on: December 20, 2020, 09:04:09 AM
If cash or fiat will disappear how can we define something's value. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies only exist on the cyberspace. Other assets or investments too like gold will lose value if fiat disappears.  Cash will always stay we should remember that. There are still some countries that only few people use or know a cashless way of payment and not all will prefer a cashless society.
5014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce bitcoin who don't know.? on: December 20, 2020, 04:31:39 AM
Blockchain and bitcoin are two different things. Bitcoin is a currency used to trade or buy something. While blockchain is a network where bitcoin and other types of crypto transactions are recorded.
If one wants to improve his knowledge about blockchain tech and make it a career then he should really go to those schools that OP mentioned or find a course about it.
But if you only want to learn bitcoin, surfing the internet is enough to learn about its basics and fundamentals based on my experience.
5015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 20, 2020, 03:07:47 AM
What do you think about this prediction betting platform? Is it good for the gamblers?

This is good for gamblers like me that enjoy the thrill of betting on someone/something then wait until the win condition is met. I enjoy watching the live result of that game to see if I'm winning or losing rather than betting on some gambling games where my money quickly disappears.
5016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top 5 ALTS you held in 2020 on: December 20, 2020, 01:48:21 AM
LTC, DOT, ETH, XRP, and LNK.
I've been holding LTC since last year because I bought it at a high price. Not planning to sell it until it returns to the price I bought.
For XRP and LNK, I've already sold my XRP few days ago, and LNK months ago.
Then for ETH and LNK, I'll reserve it for next year because many were saying they will pump that year.
5017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be greedy at this time. on: December 19, 2020, 09:44:44 AM
I'm saying for them they are newbie in trading platform. Don't be greedy. You see it that coin is going to pump and pump and you Think you should buy this coin.. Firstly Don't do it. And at this time all coin is pump so do not do it.

It's really not good to buy altcoins that pump these past few days but not all of them did, I can say that there are still a lot worth to buy that didn't pump yet.
Being greedy is really hard to overcome especially if you see your gains, your mind keeps telling you to not sell yet until the coin you're holding is dumping.
Always set a target profit to secure your invested money on that crypto.
5018  Other / Archival / Re: ... on: December 19, 2020, 06:28:47 AM
Will bitcoin eventually dominate the world economy and replace traditional currencies?

I don't think it will replace them but instead it will be a top choice of investment by many people. Bitcoin is very volatile, we can have a year of it at a very low price or a year where it's very risky to invest because of its unpredictable movement. And as long as bitcoin is not properly regulated then IMO it's impossible to dominate the economy
5019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: December 19, 2020, 02:51:28 AM
Celebrities have a big reputation so whatever they advertise, their fans get curious to it. This can also help the awareness about what bitcoin is. As long as these celebrities don't get greedy and promote a scam investment then let's be happy that they are helping to boost the bitcoin community.
5020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 19, 2020, 01:09:37 AM
The list doesn't count the countries with rampant illegal gambling activities. But really an irony here, gambling is illegal in China but if you will check the owners of big casinos, they are owned by Chinese, not in their homeland but in other countries. So wondering why the Chinese government just make it legal so they can get money out of it?

Of course, countries with a large number of illegal casinos cannot be included in the list specified by the OP. After all, illegal casinos do not pay taxes and do not provide declarations about the money earned. Therefore, there is no way to find out about the money they earned to include them in the comparison.

There are many registered casinos that are owned by Chinese too. If many businessmen in China are into gambling business then why can't their government legalized it so they can benefit from it. If they can do that, those businessmen won't go to another country to establish their business. It will greatly boost its economy since gambling business earns a lot in other countries.
