After much poking with SPF and DKIM, I realized it is much easier and more trustworthy to allow a third party to send out our emails. As such, I created an Amazon SES account, and am in the process of integrating it. Should be up later today, and resolve the spam filter issue once and for all.
SPF and DKIM are difficult? SPF is only an entry in your DNS settings. DKIM is also easy to integrate if you use exim on your server to process the emails. I should also tell you that it won't resolve your inboxing problems. Only email content and maybe $100k paid anualy to certain companies will resolve your inboxing problems. But only on hotmail and yahoo. In regards to gmail you are SOL... |

Let's take this in parts. 1- You have 2 wallet.dat files. 1 on the old HDD and 1 on the new HDD 2- Backup those 2 files. For convenience name the backups wallet1.dat and wallet2.dat 3- Fire up your new system, navigate to your bitcoin data dir and copy wallet1.dat there. Rename it to wallet.dat 4- Start your bitcoin client with the -rescan flag from the command line (bitcoin -rescan). 5- Wait for it to finish rescanning and you should see the coins on wallet1.dat. 6- Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 for wallet2.dat  |

I'm not sure how I found the wallet file before, it was 4 months ago and version 0.3 of the bitcoin software.
This was the piece I was missing, where this version of bitcoin stores the wallet file. I copied my backed up wallet file to the appdata/roaming/bitcoin directory and what do you know they are back. Thanks

I see you throw the "fully insured" and after you say "25% insured" and I've seen it a couple times already on this thread... Make up your mind and don't confuse people. Just tell them outright that you'll only cover 25% in case Pirate defaults.

I hope you also have the blockchain and the wallet index, etc. backed up... It will be a lot easier for you if you have all the contents from the previous folder One thing is bugging me... How the hell did you find the folder before, when you made the backup, and aren't finding it now?
