Hey guy with dog head: Dont worry! Just make it the best magazine it could possibly be and if not everything looks like it should, just remember: Your magazine is he first for the bitcoin community, so they`ll love it no matter how bad it is. I already paid for 2 issues, but wont be mad as long as the magazine becomes a nice to read piece of history.

You will celebrate many more. I am afraid so! This will be a long journey. Or rather, it is a long one already, and I'm afraid it's going to become an Oddyssey. Should anyone want to support my crusade against bad marketing of nonexisting magazines, then donate to me at 1MAnAx5m1bCJXKicCv3o2puaFaN61zET2 All bitcoins will be hoarded forever, because I am an asshole. Also, 80+ days have passed when you read this! WOO!

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

I just thought of something. Once the first issue comes out, the second issue will have to ready within 30 days--no later. There'll be no excuses for the second issue being late, for all the systems will have been put in place by then. This fact is true of the subsequent issues. But back to that second issue. The content and advertisements must already be in progress, because you don't start the next month's issue with a clean slate directly after shipping out a current issue. In fact, you probably are laying out some content, and surely ads, for the third, forth, fifth, etc., issues on some program. Speaking of ads, that too is an ongoing process, a process hampered when you need to daily calm down current advertisers. Granted, when the first issue is finally distributed, a wave of advertisers will jump on board, but that wave will still need to be augmented with further and ongoing solicitations to fill a 100 page magazine. That's a daunting task, if I may say so myself.

I would appreciate it if the top post of this thread were renamed to something else until the magazine is ready, if that ever happens. I am tired of checking for updates from a thread labeled as containing such, and reading this crap instead.
I also like to nominate Matthew for the scammer tag, in the absence of objective proof that this magazine is going to be shipped soon. (Otherwise, I'd appreciate my money back.) While I paid for the print version, I would gladly accept just the digital one.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.
