5021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find good ICOs? on: March 27, 2019, 09:02:37 AM
Hello guys please I will like us to share our views on how to find good ICOs and If you have a special website or link that have been tested and trusted  where we can get good recommendations about genuine ICOs please kindly share it with us!!!
A website I often check out ICO projects is Icodrops. It is really a good website and only lists good and potential projects on its website. In addition, Icobench, Icomarks are not reliable.
If I get it right, this forum is the best place for finding information regarding to ico's they have ann thread here, and you can review what are the offers of this projects, you have to be selective and read more about the project that you've seen potentials.
The difficulty is to find information on the original ico at this time, as difficult as finding a pearl in the sea, because a good ico is now often covered with scam ico-ico and only a few lucky people can see where the original ico is. then keep working and wipe every existing ico because among the ico who scam there must be one successful ico.

its not hard to find info of the ico  . you can search their contact details , call them or locate them offline to see if they are really legit but a good scammer can hid thier selves , they can use fake personalities and fake establishment just to scam people  .

the only thing that a user can do is to do a trial and error , if he is lucky he can pick a good ico with or without a proper research but if he is in bad luck , he can probably loose his investment  .
5022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: March 27, 2019, 07:03:13 AM
Hello friends,
I am going to participate in bounty signature campaign. Can you guys suggest me some strategy. Like which bounty should I choose, how can I speculate what bounty is good for earnings etc.
thank you.

First of all you are still in the newbie rank so they are very, very few bounties you can be able to participate in but if at the long run you are being merited for making a positive comment or post and your rank increases, running a signature campaign would be very easy for you
If you are a beginner rank, it is better to make your rank better before you follow the bounty, because the prize you get is adjusted to your rank. the better your ranking, the more prizes you will get will be more reliable. but now it's hard to catch a good bounty and it's also difficult to improve rankings. so you have to learn a lot to get the best.

there's no problem in joining a campaign while at the same time working to rank up , infact that is a good idea because once you recieve a coin from the campaign that you are working with  , you will also feel motivated which results for you to work more harder and to post more meaningfull contents  . its like killing a two birds with one stone because  you are helping your self to rank and to earn while you are also helping other people and community  . isnt that a good bounty strategy  ?
5023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 26, 2019, 07:52:45 AM
I don't think any person with an average IQ would think that gambling is a way to earn profits. It's always a form of adrenaline based game, to give you excitement and pleasure.

If you want to invest, invest in your own business before you invest in other people business.
It's true most of the people I've seen playing gambling games made gambling as their way to earn profits not knowing the risk they're facing... the OP  is true as well some people are earning but we didn't know how much they invested and how much is their loses.

We might not know that his/her winning is just 10% of his total loses, we should really know what is gambling for and the risks of it for playing.
There are so many people who are earning good amount of money with gambling on daily bases, and many are using it just for fun, but till now I never lose anything, but if it is a game so surely one of both will lose and one will win, but our skills and information will help us to earn, I find it profit worthy.

What about those people who loose ?  Gambling isnt about for having fun or for earning a profit but gambling is also a way to loose money though they did not expect it to happen  . the skills amd information that you are saying will surely help to increase the gamblers chances of winning but still luck plays a vital role .   and by the way , how come you didnt ever experience to loose in gambling ? Pro gamblers also loose because no one can master gambling .
5024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: will some of the altcoins recover? on: March 26, 2019, 04:12:59 AM
Many of the shitcoins have been filtered out. However, ethereum and litecoin have continued development so all that is needed is patience.

What do you mean by filtered out ?  Remove ? Well yes some of them are removed but not totally because until now shit coins are still regaining a dominance over the legit alts  .  and what you are saying tht etherium and litecoin are only contiuing to develop . what about other altcoins ?  There are lots of good alts out there not just eth and ltc  and they are also continue to develop  .

Prices are already returning and i believe that they will continue to increase  as the time passes by  .
5025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I stop using some exchanges on: March 26, 2019, 03:45:20 AM
For those worried about security just use coinbase, which is unlikely to go under. Not much of a selection but it is one of the safest exchanges out there, along with gemini by the winklevoss twins

I do recognize coinbase but its my first time to hear about gemini, btw is that a new wallet ? Anyway in regards to coinbase i heard that many users complain about this wallet  . infact there is a trendy news lately with the title " #deletecoinbase "  i dunno if that was also a trending tweet on twitter or not but i dont think that coinbase is a bad wallet as im also a regular user of coinbase before but now i rarely use it .
5026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: March 26, 2019, 03:22:17 AM
Ever since i got hooked in gambling i always have this positivity in my mind, heart and soul this is how I treated gambling habits seriously specially in my addiction moments wayback so if your point is correct then I should be a billionaire by now right?but the reality?I m still a loser lol

People in gambling area need more on luck than this imaginary positivity outcome,we need strategy, luck and small positive minded to win good each time we played, but if Luck wasn’t on our side then stop for a while and be back in another days
Not bad if you are just enjoying the moment of your stay in gambling but it takes a sad not that causes you into addiction. I do believe that gambling never give us a passive income and many we're losing instead.

I'm not really engaged into gambling, I'll just do betting's when sometimes but not all of my bets wins. Maybe I don't have luck in this field and may just consider it as donation..
I agree, it's take a little while for experienced gamblers to take some slice out from the house, but to be consider being skills gamblers you need to have a lots of time observing and mastering the right emotions to be used in order to timingly enter and quit to have some earnings, there's no easy access to earned even you have a positive mindset, it's just helping you out if you know how to play well with such positive vibes and convert it into a profitable habits.

Experienced gamblers do have a higher chance to win than compared to inexperienced one's but i agree on you that its not easy to become a pro/experienced gambler as it takes alot of time , money , effort , patience , etc... In short there is no easy money in gambling but others are still mistakin it as one  , maybe because of the nature of gambling where its commonly known as bet and play  .
5027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: March 26, 2019, 02:11:13 AM
IEO is a good trend and may replace ICO, investors are safer buying from IEO because it is available in the market without fear of waiting for the exchange when receiving coins, and this is what makes BNB and Huobi get good big luck.

I dont think that ico's can be replaced easily  . ieo's are still kinda new and they might need some more improvements before they totally become mainstream while ico's are already established but the only problem  of ico's is their authenticity  .

i think the binance marketing machine is more powerful then huobi and binance will win easily this round but how knows what huobi hide for the future good luck for everyone Smiley

I dont see any ads related to binance .  its not about their marketing power but its thier superb service that makes them to become number one  . on the other hand huobi exchange is also well known and a good alternative next to binance  .
5028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta vs ForkDelta on: March 25, 2019, 08:25:06 AM
On the interface they are similar,

the color is only the difference  . forkdelta is a kind of reddish ( if im not mistakin) while etherdelta has a blackish theme .

etherderlta works for me only under vpn, and forkdelta without. For me, the winner is forkdelta.

oh i see  . maybe you only have a slow internet connection , thats why you need a vpn to fasten up your internet  so that you can now access heavy sites like etherdelta  . while for me i can access etherdelta without any problems but i like forkdelta the most as it is light  and easy to access .

for me i notice , that some coins are missing on ed while you can find them on fd , other times , you cant find your coin on fd but you can find them on ed . so for me both have pro's and con's   .
5029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction also a result of trauma? on: March 25, 2019, 02:18:55 AM

from what i understand , trauma means you are shock  . for example you witness a killing for the first time and that results you to become traumatize  . while addiction or being addicted to someone else like for example in gambling you will tend to feel happy and thats the reason why you play more  .  so that's it , both syndrome are different based on my own deffinition  .
5030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign is becoming absolutely useless. on: March 24, 2019, 12:13:18 PM
for social media campaigns now is not good, there are many jobs that I follow, and there are no results

not only on social media campaign but to the whole bounty campaign as a whole  . with the increasing number of ico frauds , bounty campaigns are also affected with it  . you are lucky if you can still find a bounty that is legit  . nowadays  , bounty hunters will not really care if the coins that the  will be recieving is profitable or not but as long as it has a value or it is already listed they can now be happy and contented with it  .
5031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud mining still profitable? on: March 24, 2019, 09:57:07 AM
Is the whole Cloud Mining in reality not simply a ponzi scheme, in which people actually do not get any Hashrate rented, instead they only get the deposits of new customers?  Wink

Lol no  .  cloud mining didnt work that way   . not all  cloud mining  are scams but there are still legit left however it can take alot of time to produce a profit maybe because the difficulty in mining have risen up thru the years  . what you are refering to is networking where new joiners does not get any benefit aside from the old users , in short they work as a pyramid ponzi scheme  .
5032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is back on: March 24, 2019, 07:36:39 AM
Sometimes exchanges need the time to do some maintenance in their system.
The bigger exchange, the bigger cost they will need to maintenance the securities there.
Binance is a success exchange, it won't take much time. But what concern me is the cryptopia exchange, it still cannot be accessed.

Binance is also a big exchange which means it also cost alot of time in order to fix their platform  . cryptopia on the other hand is hacked . thats the reason why they cant be accesible .

If you are not a trader, do not keep funds on the exchange. It is not always safe! The exchanges can hack, bankrupt, close .

What about the traders ? Do you mean traders are the only one that can continue to put their funds on any exchange ?  Why ? Because they are actively trading ? Traders are actually the one that can be a possible victim of hacking because they are the ones that oftently deposit coins on the exchange while non trader users can be hack rarely  .
5033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another proof that cloud mining is a scam on: March 24, 2019, 04:10:33 AM
Most of those who suffered losses due to scam were newbies

Not only newbies but also veteran and pro do also experience to get scam because scammers are hard to detect .

I had experienced that in mining investment too, I suffered losses in piggymining, hashmining, and so on. I began to realize that mining which provides big profits is just a ponzi scheme, but I never say crypto is scam

Those sites that you mentioned above are seem to be an obvious scam by just basing on their domain names  .  majority of the cloud mining sites are also scam so its not surprising of someone will got scammed by them  .  even if you say that crypto is not a scam , other people especially those newbie and the ones that didnt try crypto will instantly think that crypto is scam after they hear scamming news related to crypto  .  it sucks but thats the truth
5034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selfdrop tokens road to millionaire? on: March 24, 2019, 03:03:04 AM
Obviously those are scam projects or some shitcoins promotions it may sounds stupid but yes there is a possibilities that this will bring you to become millionaire if the specific coin used by the whales to pump and dump but the thing is “this is a Onces in a Billion chance”so if you risk your small amount(since they are very cheap as what you’ve said) then go for it.but if i were you i would prefer to buy altcoins or tokens that has truthful potential than thise scamer coins

no they are not scam coins . the self drop that op is talking about are actually real and legit but as usual not all coins will have thier own dedicated value because those coins are still came from ico's   . scammers can use this tactic to collect cryptos from inoscent bounty hunters that love to do self drop . scammers and self drop owners are likely the one to become millionaire because they the small amount of eth that they collect from one user can still grow if alot of people will join thier single self drop  .
5035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling sites which accept bitcoin on: March 24, 2019, 02:01:38 AM
The marketplace of bitcointalk is a great place just like what everybody else said. Be wary of scams though as anybody can/will try scam you here.

Try searching for merchants accepting bitcoin as payments in your place? Maybe there's few of them who does.

marketplace on our forum is a good idea to buy and sell just make sure you are dealing to a trusted and reputable members  if not then always ask for an escrow  .  speaking of escrows  , we can also find escrows on the services section of the forum or on the service discusion section  .  but dont expect that you find every items that you'l looking for  ,  its still a good idea to find an online store that accepts bitcoin  . google is your friend friend .   Smiley

make sure you do a quick research about the site that you will be using , look for reviews and feedbacks . beware of impersonators  .
5036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: March 23, 2019, 12:38:36 PM

This op must be bitter because maybe he didnt invest in cryptos but he only invest on other asset . how can you say that there is no bull run when the price is now ready to take off ?  The price is no over 4k usd and its becoming stable for a long time . this is a good sign that it can end in a real bull run after the the month of march have ended  or during the start of the second quarter for this year .
5037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid losing money with bitcoins on: March 23, 2019, 10:46:49 AM
~ snip ~
I don't quite get it if you are asking for a place where you could easily convert your BTC into Fiat then you should use an exchange or trading platform.
But if you are asking about a site where you could convert your BTC into cash wothout using a bank then I think you should look for a local wallet, Just like our local wallet here in the Philippines which is called "coins.ph"
We could use it to convert BTC into cash or the other way around cash out and cash in BTC in many ways, But you also have to send a valid ID and do the selfie to verify your account.
And you could always look for a friend who would buy your crypto in cash if you want.

The coins.ph that you are talking about is only available in the philippines and i see that op is from belgium . he cant use coins.ph but he can still use other wallets out there , like blockchain.com for example and if im not mistaken , blockchain.com dont ask for id upon signing up although you may need an i.d when cadhing out larger amount of cash or cryptos  .  electrum is also a good wallet that didnt ask for i.d verfication  .
5038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New design MyEtherWallet. Easy or Difficult to send tokens? on: March 23, 2019, 09:27:07 AM
I saw that Myetherwallet has been change and its hard to understand a little bit also. Same as etherscan also but its good to understand also to used it in the future that crypto is being upgrading as well.

its normal that you will experience difficulty in using for the first time but eventually you will get used to it the longer you use . practice what makes you perfect as they say  . just remember that they upgraded for the better and not for the worst   . i remember the first time i use mew , i also find it hard because their site is full of warnings   . mew is not really user friendly before but why we still understand it  ? same thing can apply on the new version of mew  .
5039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 23, 2019, 08:51:47 AM
In my opinion I think the volatility is as a result of lack of mass adoption. If a cryptocurrency is  actively used by its intended market , this cases of volatility will be minimal and the volume on exchanges will grow.

Growing volume  is also equals to more volatility because when there is alot of people that will buy crypto the price will rise rapidly and if the price is already in its peak other hodlers will also sell which result for the value to go down again  . the process will repeat but im sure that cryptos value will somehow improve .

To the question that why crypto is volatile , well i guess they are volatile because they are unregulated or due to their decentralize nature  .  however there are still crypto that are known to be stable or stable coins as they called it , one example is usdt  .
5040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why My Ether Wallet Showing So Much Balance on: March 23, 2019, 07:51:34 AM
You probably got airdropped some token or bounty rewards you were part of in the past. Or your tokens exploded in price recently Or was just a glitch that will eventually go away .

Just like everyone is saying its a glitch .  same thing happend to me last year where one token called pos  have pump unexpectedly after looking my portfolio on the etherplorer website .  i then transfer my pos to etherdelta but the worst thing start to happen , i cant sell them at a high price  .  it was just wtf ,

Lesson learned , dont trust easily on what you see on your balance  .make sure to confirm it first online or on other markets if the coin really have pumped or not  .
