When an exchange is centralized then you may have the chances of losing your funds through hacking

what about decentralize exchange ?  they are more risky imo because most of them uses a private key to access your assets  .  these was the reason that they are prone to phishing attempts  , what if you accidentally visited a phish site and you enter import your private key ? all coins in your portfolio can be lost in an instant  and there is no point of recovering them unlike to centralized exchanges that they may refund you because its not your fault on why they were hacked  .
No centralized exchange is goig to refund your money if they got hacked so you can make yourself secured when you have the full control of your wallet like in Decentralized exchanges.Phishing sites can be avolided by using high seucirty internet package on your system and you need to bookbar the site and login through only from their to avoid phishing.

When an exchange is centralized then you may have the chances of losing your funds through hacking but still there are some centralized exchange which having huge trading volume so you can trade on it but not trusted to store anything in it.

If you stick to using centralized exchanges with a license the risk of losing everything is smaller than if you use some shady exchange with anonymous people behind it.

Every people have teir different priority while using trading platforms, some prefer less fee and more trading pairs and some other prefer anonymity so it depends on the people to choose what kind of exchange.

Before trading any exchange we need to check carefully about the details and from where the exchange is running. We need to be very careful with the exchange with low volumes and their tokens listing, some coin will be listed on the basis of money.

Im never good at trading ,always lose money but how about those who lose money due to exchange been hacked? Well thanks to new exchanges that only support p2p ,no profiles ,no emails ,no passwords, they are the safest out there ,this is why I'm so hooked with changelly since 2016 ,so use this kind of exchanges and you are safe from hacks and phishing who is with me? Other exchanges that are like changelly are ethershift and tokenmom ,there might be others too
Instant exchange service is different from typical trading platforms.Yes you can really make conversions directly without the need of storing your coins into the site but when it comes to fees
it wont really be idea for you to buy and sell on changelly.Rates and profiting opportunities wont really be possible and also you can execute trades and made analysis into those platforms which do have charting.
Its up to you on which you do prefer.

Ethershift is like a more advanced version of etherdelta so i can see that one moving up. Especially as you can buy their ESH tokens are gain monthly airdrops of their profits

You think of exchanges that only support p2p, no profile, no e-mail, no password, that's the safest, maybe this is true, because I joined in 2017 and have traded on several exchanges, three times, having exchanged hacked before I could withdraw some of my assets and recently some $ 10,000 worth of cryptopia assets were there and until now there has been no news

I not familiar with this one, is this live now or not yet?
I believe this is an decentralized again as you said it's an advanced version of etherdelta.
I guess we already have a big player in the market for decentralized exchange, I would rather trust binance dex than this one.

Ethershift is very different from Etherdelta. The use of Etherdelta is easier than Ethershift. I don't understand how to use this market. There is no login function.

I wasn't talking about traders and their anonymity, but about those behind the exchange and their anonymity, which in my eyes isn't good.

Indeed there are several exchanges that do not use email, passwords, or other profiles. Like the forkdelta using the MEW private key, Stellar that uses the Stellar private key, etc. But not apart from hacker attacks, and this has happened. But the exchange that uses e-mail security is also very safe from attacks, they make with high security. Api key, G.A, IP detection, etc. I have no doubt about the security used by exchange developers. Except new exchange. They are still in the testing phase.
not necessarily, you know the exchange of "coinsmakets" they use email and passwords but see what happens, hackers have taken all the assets there and all the people who trade there are crying because they lost all their money ... look now, their servers are down hacker attack
Indeed, there are exchanges that can be hacked by hackers who use e-mail or passwords, but the control power is higher. For example, every time we log into the exchange there is an email notification. I suggest that the email to register the exchange is activated on the smartphone. So that we can control at any time. But if the exchange uses a private key, is there an email notification. Of course not. Loss control.

Do not put your coins or tokens on the exchange. Whenever the exchange can become a hacker's goal. I also agree that small exchanges are unattractive for hackers. But there are such cases. Such small exchange altmarkets were also hacked last year.

Some of them are prone for hacking and some of them are doing an inside hacking and this is so bad to see if we will be caught by scam exchange for this we shouldn't trust our balance whenever its big or medium exchange where we go.

Right, even reputable or popular exchangers nowadays wont really guarantee you that your assets are really safe.Anything can really be hacked,if its hard then they might consider
on making an inside job to get of those funds (who knows) peoples mind do changes overtime when we do already talk about money. We cant really judge as of this moment into those
top exchangers but all the possibilities is there.

They are all good exchange but their functionalities are limited. That's the reason why most active traders opt for well known and credible exchanges like binance and the rest. Even with their reputation in the industry, it is advised to take some precautions when using these exchanges.

I think you are too paranoid to trade. some exchanges have trusted security, and don't have a bad reputation.
I won't say it because everyone might know him and never have a problem with that exchange.
I'm sure you need a good reference to choose a trusted exchange.

For those worried about security just use coinbase, which is unlikely to go under. Not much of a selection but it is one of the safest exchanges out there, along with gemini by the winklevoss twins

I do recognize coinbase but its my first time to hear about gemini, btw is that a new wallet ? Anyway in regards to coinbase i heard that many users complain about this wallet  . infact there is a trendy news lately with the title " #deletecoinbase "  i dunno if that was also a trending tweet on twitter or not but i dont think that coinbase is a bad wallet as im also a regular user of coinbase before but now i rarely use it .

it depends on you to maintain the security of the account that you have,
All you do is register for security using 2FA with your cellphone, Google Authenticator or confirm every time you start accessing the exchange you entered
